Unusual baking additives like dried cranberries and dried strawberries and some bottles of assorted sprinkles for the tops of cookies and cupcakes.

21st birthday gift basket ideas?
My 2 roommates have turned 21 this week and since this is finals week we are going to celebrate on Saturday. My other roommate and I wanted to put together some gift baskets or something to that effect for them. At a wedding shower, I have seen people give gift baskets where each item in the basket is a part of a cute story the recipient reads out to the group. Has anyone seen something similar, but more appropriate for a baby shower?

Ideas for beach wedding gift basket? (Ideas in general?)?
We're having our wedding in Oregon (where I grew and half my family still loves) on the coast. Most of our guest will be traveling from Ohio and may stay for at least the weekend, some for a whole week. We obviously will not be able to entertain them the entire week but will have get togethers and events the weekend of the wedding. Instead of a tin of mints or some favor that will be thrown out anyways I'm having the hotel put gift baskets in all the rooms of our guests. I want to include things like bottels of water, sunscreen and a lst of locations to visit and things to do in the area (with directions and contact info). But I'm at a loss on other things to include as well as what to put everything in. I am on a budget but I dont have too many guests and it will be one basket per couple/family). Any idead would be greatly appriciated. Also any beach wedding ideas or experiances would be lovely. Thanks so much!

How about a nice towel set and some candles. I think those things are still keeping the idea of what I precieve to be to papmer yourself. I might be wrong but with out really knowing what the the basket is for and what you want to accomplish it is hard to come up with ideas. I also thought perhaps some bath slippers or a nice terry robe.

What is a good gift I can give my boss for Christmas? I usually create a nice gift basket full of handmade...?
gifts...but I've been sick the past month and truly haven't had the desire or energy to create anything (I used to make picture frames, candle holder, bath salts, gourmet popcorn, etc... and I think she now "expects" me to make a thoughtful gift, but I really am not into it (or don't have the spare time)... she's going on a trip the day after tomorrow, so I need something quite quick! How do you tell someone you don't like their gift?
A friend of mine has sent me gifts three times now from Incredible Edibles. Frankly, while the presentation is nice, I find that the fruit is merely pretty and basically inedible and I end up trashing the whole thing. I was taught to always accept gifts graciously, but these baskets are not cheap and I don't want him wasting his money.

The true gift is that your friend likes you enough to think about you an expend the time, energy & finances to express that with a purchase. That gift you like. It's the product you don't like. In any gift I get that I am displeased with, I give the sender two days to bask in my appreciation of their generosity. "Thank you. It's beautiful. I can't wait to try it. It was so nice of you to think about me." Then I sadly tell them, "You know that beautiful arrangement you sent me? I turned out that the fruit was dry/bland/flavorless. It looked so lovely, I never expected it to taste that bad. That happened on the 1st one you sent but, I thought that was a fluke. But these last two were not any better. If I was you, I'd ask for my money back or stop using them altogether." This shifts the responsibility of the distaste to the manufacturer and not the friend. If the arrangement came in a decorative container, do mention how you were glad you were able to save such a lovely bowl or basket. I did check the prices. $80 - $130 is a lot to only be able to salvage the container.

You could also get snacks and stuff made with 100% organic things, maybe some of those handmade cards that are made with recycled paper, possibly a large t-shirt that would fit almost anybody with a recycling symbol on it? My mom is going to be travelling by car for about 2 weeks this holiday season. She is going to go visit relatives from all over the country. So my idea for her gift, is to buy things that will make her trip better. Gift basket suggestions for my widowed aunt?
My aunt was recently widowed and will be staying with my grandparents for the next few weeks while the estate is being settled (really long complicated story behind that). I want to give a gift basket to her while she is here. Just so she can rest and not worry about anything. What are some suggestions for things to include in the basket? My girlfriend's birthday is coming up soon, we've not been together for all that long. So I wanted to get her a gift basket of her favorite things in one.
