I just had a look and your site has a nice look to it. My only comment is that you have to return to the Home page any time you want to go to another category. "Cinema Treats", "Coffee", "Father's Day", etc. should be available on all pages so that you can go directly to any page from any other page.

Help with valentines day present for boyfriend. Easy points!!?
Hi, for valentines day I'm basically making a big gift basket for my boyfriend who's 21 and i'm 20 years old. We've been going out for almost 2 and a half years. I'm putting a bunch of little stuff and little presents in it but would like some ideas from you. Any ideas would be great...they can be presents, cute little things, candy, or even sexual things. Thanks very much!

Purchasing gifts for babyshower?
SO, I have a baby shower this weekend for my hubby's aunt. I am torn between purchasing something off the registry or just getting some useful baby supplies and creating a care basket with things I found useful. In the basket I would include things like, Aquaphor lotion, diaper cream, a colorful baby book, rattle, teether, little things such as that. The registry is full of a lot of fluff gifts except for the more expensive things, which are out of my price range. SO, question, do I suck it up and purchase something something off the registry that is in my price range that I fear will be deemed useless, or is it okay that I create a baby care package gift basket? Do you only purchase off your registry or do you stray to purchasing gifts of your own thinking?
--------------------
I think the gift basket of things you found useful is a perfect idea. I know that's what I would prefer to get. If this is a first baby for your hubby's aunt, she may well have walked through the store with the registration gun just zapping anything she thought was cute, without knowing if she'd really use it. First-timers (like me) have no experience to draw on. So go with the gift basket. It's a much more thoughtful, personal gift than a random thing off a probably random list.

What can I do for chirstmas gifts?
I really want to make cute christmas gifts this year for my friends. I was thinking of getting like a cute bin or basket and fill it with some cute things like soap and hair brushes and stuff.. what should I put in them (their for teen girls,)
--------------------
i think your on the right track. a cute little basket of their favorite color or some thing with, like u said, soap etc. maybe a cute framed pciture of u 2, or movie tickets. candy, a small stuffed animal, new head phones, a burned cd of songs that remind u of her, maybe some bath salts and body spray, and gum! of course not all this stuff but if my friend did just a few things like that for me, id love it!

You can never go wrong with a basket of beauty gifts for a female friend/relative at christmas?
True or false? Personally i am too nice a person to keep reminding them that most commercial stuff makes me itch or brings me out in a rash. And i really don't expect them to buy me one that has little or no unnecessary chemicals in it. And spa or massage vouchers are a few price brackets up. Bah. Humbug!
--------------------
I get probably 2 every year, and they just sit on my shelf, un-opened for years. I think a basket of lotion and body wash is like saying "i didn't put a lot of thought and effort into your gift, so here ya go" We had a white elephant gift exchange at my office christmas party, where you just bring something from home that you don't want to Re-gift. 5 people out of 12 brought one of those lotion baskets. So i think you ALWAYS go wrong by buying a female a beauty gift basket as a gift, unless you know exactly what one they would want.

One unique idea you should think about is a personalized Photo Collage Jigsaw Puzzle. This can bring together all your grandma's favorite things into one composite photo collage layout and the enjoyment of solving the puzzle. A Photo Collage is easy to order. Just send the guys at jigsaw2order.com a collection of your grandma's favorite photos and specify other themes such as Boston Terriers, Snoopy and favorite movies that you want to include. 10-20 photos usually works best. You can also specify the words to a favorite song or poem. Based on your photos and input, let the professional designers at jigsaw2order.com create a unique photo collage layout for your approval before making it into a puzzle. Don't worry, you get a chance to review and approve the photo collage design before they make a puzzle. Once completed, it can be framed and put on the wall as a great keepsake.

I am trying to launch a gift basket company from home. Hopefully getting a jump start during the holidays. I need to advertise, in some places that can be quick, economical and might actually get me some customers. Any good ideas would be appreciated. What is the age to buy sex related things at Spencer's Gifts?
How old do you have to be to buy things like handcuffs and whips at Spencers? We're putting together a novelty basket for a buddy of mine but we're all 17. Thanks in advance for the info.
--------------------
Dildos and other sex toys are 18 but I would think that handcuffs and whips would be okay if your 17... It depends on if spencer's defines those products as "sex toys" or as novelty gifts. I would just try. the worst they can do is say no right?

How to handle this situation with my siblings???
I am the youngest of six kids, with a signifigant gap between the first five and myself. Both of my parents passed away prior to my turning 20, so my brothers and sisters have always been an important part of my life. We are all very close, although admittedly most of the work in keeping the relationship close comes from me since I moved several states away from the family. Recently, I found out my oldest brother (who I am extremely close to) is seriously ill. His wife asked me to contact the other siblings and to let everyone know that for right now, my brother simply is not ready to talk to anyone and wants as little attention drawn to the illness as possible. I called the others and passed along all the info. One of the other siblings took it upon himself to send a gift basket to the ill brother as a way to offer support, even though I made it clear that this was not wanted. He signed my name to the basket. When I found out, I was very upset and worried how my oldest brother
--------------------
In all honesty, if you have an older sibling who is seriously ill, I wonder why everyone is wasting time and energy arguing over a gift basket. It's done, it's over. Arguing isn't going to change that. Your brother probably didn't want a lot of attention drawn to the illness right now because he's just trying to learn to deal with it himself. Ok. Your brother's wife's wishes should have been respected, but I doubt that a gift basket is the end of the world. Talk to your brother's wife and see how he reacted to it. If it bothered him, you can tell her that it was sent out of love from your other sibling and no harm was meant. If it didn't bother him, then there's been much ado about nothing. Tell her to give your love to your brother and to let you know when you can call or visit.

What recipes do you use to put together your Baked Christmas Goodie Basket?
Every year everyone gives and gets little baked goodies from coworkers and neighbors. I decided this year to make my own little baked gifts. I have a few recipes in mind but I would just like to know what other people put in theirs. I am allergic to all kinds of nuts so please suggest recipes with out them. I would really like some recipes that are colorful and seasonal. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

What are some easy baby gifts to make at home?

It has alot of ideas and pictures! You can make a picture frame out of popsicle sticks! Popsicle Stick Picture Frame Difficulty: Very Easy Average User Rating: l A crafting classic, the Popsicle stick picture frame provides a great base for kids to attach other decorations to. What you'll need: * Eight clean Popsicle sticks * Paint or magic markers * Tacky craft glue * Photograph of yourself that it is okay for you to cut (get permission!) * Scissors * Pencil * Cardboard (you can use an old cereal box) * Yarn (if you want to hang your frame) * Magnet (if you want to be able to put your frame on the refrigerator or a filing cabinet) * Any of the following items to decorate the frame: sequins, buttons, construction paper, yarn, stickers, nuts and bolts, fishing lures, buttons, ribbons, tiny fake flowers, golf tees, puzzle pieces, lace, stamps, wrapping paper, fabric, or pictures of their favorite hobby cut from magazines, etc. How to make it: 1. Arrange the Popsicle sticks as follows: put two side-by-side vertically (up and down). Put two more (arranged the same way) next to them. 2. Take the photograph and slide the edges under the four sticks so that neither of the sides (right or left) show. 3. Place two more Popsicle sticks, side-by-side, so that the top edge is covered. Do the same with the bottom edge using the last two sticks. (The top and bottom parts will cross over the side parts of the frame.) Use the pencil to lightly mark where the frame will attach. You may need to trim the picture if it is too big. 4. Use the glue to put the frame together. Let it dry overnight. 5. While you are waiting for the frame to dry, put the picture on a piece of cardboard and trace around it. Trim the cardboard to be just a little larger than the picture (about 1/4" all the way around). 6. Glue the picture to the center of the cardboard. 7. Decorate the frame using paints or markers. Let that dry (if you used paint) and then further decorate it with the items you've collected. You can see some frame decorating ideas with our fridge frame project. 8. Once the frame is dry (paint or glue), glue the picture to the frame. 9. If you want to hang the frame, glue a 4" piece of yarn to the back of the frame. (Glue one end to each top corner.) If you would rather it be a magnetic frame, glue a magnet to the back. You can also make a stand using a stiff piece of cardboard. (Cut a 4" by 2" rectangle. Bend the cardboard at one end about 1/2" from the top. Glue the bent part to the back so that the frame can stand up (you may need to trim it a little if it's too long.) 10. Wrap it up, and give someone a special surprise! Spice up your closet with these scented Potpourri Hangers made from plastic hangers, lace and potpourri. Makes a sweet gift. What you'll need: * Plastic Hangers * Lace fabric * Lace trim * Ribbon * Potpourri * Hot glue gun How to make it: 1. Cut 2 pieces of lace fabric about 1/2 inch larger than the body of the hanger. 2. With the hot glue gun, glue one piece of the lace fabric to one side of the body of the hanger. 3. Turn the hanger so the hanger is laying on the lace fabric you just glued on. Now sprinkle potpourri inside the area of the hanger. 4. Now glue the other piece of lace fabric on the hanger, sealing the potpourri inside the hanger between the two pieces of lace. 5. After the glue dries trim the lace fabric close to the diameter of the hanger. 6. Glue the lace trim around the diameter of the body of the hanger. 7. Tie a piece of ribbon in a bow around the neck of the hanger. Tips: Another idea: Another thing that might be added to the Potpourri Hangers is a string of pearls. It can be glued around the diameter after the lace trim has been glue. GOOD LUCK! That's nice of you to think of your teacher!

Diaper Cake or Cute Basket?
I went out and got some things yesterday for my friends baby shower, like binkies, blankets, onesies, spoons, little things like that. I am planning on getting some more stuff, like a couple outfits and bottles and bibs. I am not sure if I should make a gift basket or a diaper cake though. Some one the things, like the spoons and binkies I dont want to take out of the package. Should I just do the basket or the cake. I am rather creative so thats not a problem. Does anyone have a good website where I can get directions for the cake? I haven't found a good one yet. Thanks
--------------------
I'd go diaper cake. (But I am prejudiced) The mommy will either use it or let it decorate the nursery.....but I don't think she wouldn't NOT use it because items had been opened, that is insane. Baby items get washed and as long as everything is NEW they will use it. The diapers are opened but they aren't unfolded.....and it isn't like you are going to have filthy hands when you make it!!
