Gifts for Employees?? What do you want to receive this year?
We already are doing the following: - Christmas Party in early December(dinner theater comedy show, guest invited) - Cash bonus - $20 Gift card for their favorite grocery store (in lieu of turkeys, we don't get a great response when we give turkeys anymore) - Hallmark ornament customized to their personal hobbies - Custom snowman wall plaque (www.familysigns.com) - Rainy Day Fund jar with a $50 gift card inside to their favorite store - Continental Breakfast on 12/22 Not sure what else to give them. We always give gift baskets full of something. One year it was a breakfast theme with about $100 worth of stuff in it and a gift card. One year we did digital cameras. We thought this year we'd do 5-6 gifts around $10-20 each for each employee and hand them out one at a time (sort of "santa" style) under the tree. We only have 8 employees so it is managable. Any ideas? We want to keep it personalized & useful for everyone - most employees are in their 40s or 50s.

Where can I find dropshippers in canada?
I am specifically looking for gift basket dropshippers...
--------------------
Usually you have to negociate it with each company. Do not purchase a list of dropshippers, they are usually overpriced and outdated. They are basicly a ripoff!

He wants to put together a gift basket with sausages, crackers, etc...but he wants to add something special to each one. Any ideas?

Gift for grandmother in-law for Christmas?
So my 85 year old grandma in law has everything she could ever want/need. In the past I've given her candle sticks, picture frames, gift baskets of tea and things like that. I am TOTALLY out of ideas. Same question for my 90 year old grandfather(not in law). I'm very frustrated and have given up on thinking. Any ideas please???? No perfumes or soaps, or colognes-its been done. Thanks!
--------------------
If she's still capable of getting around and doing things, I suggest getting her a pedicure or something of that sort. I know my grandmother's feet tend to get very rough and dry. And she absolutely loves the pampering she recieves!

What's the difference between Shower Gel and Body Wash?
I got one of those holiday gift baskets and it has both. What's the difference?
--------------------
Technically, a vast majority of "soaps" on the market aren't actually soap; they're detergent. Anytime you see an ingredient that sounds anything remotely like "sodium laryl sulfate", you're looking at a detergent. True soap is only made with lye and fat, which will be listed as "saponified oils". The difference between shower gel, most soap, and body wash is consistency and targeted marketing.

Need help with a Gift for a mother after delivery?
My friend asked me to be in the delivery room with her when she has her baby, but I want to get her a gift. What would be a good gift? I was thinking a basket with breast pads, nursing stuff, etc.? But they give her most of that stuff at the hospital, so what would be a good thoughtful gift?
--------------------
I would get her a gift that was more for her, and not just the baby. She's going to get a ton of baby gifts, so it would be nice to have a gift that was just for her. She'll most likely need some help finding time to relax once the baby is born, so you might want to go with soothing bath soaps and beauty aids. You can grab a bath and beauty gift basket that has everything already inside (you're busy too!) - I've ordered from BisketBaskets.com before for my gift baskets, and I love the products and packaging of the baskets. where can I buy a decent wicker basket for hamper?
Im thinking of creating a food hamper and giving it as a gift for my bf's parents, but im struggling to find a store that actually sells shallow wicker baskets. Any suggestions? I'm not bothering to buy the traditional ready made food hampers since there's bound to be something they dont like, which in turn goes to waste.

does anyone have ideas for retailers that make cash donations to a school?
I am doing a gift card raffle basket for my son's school and i'm having some problems asking for donations.
--------------------
You don't say where you are. I don't know of any retailers that would just hand over cash. Most, if they donate at all will give you something from their inventory, or maybe a gift card. I would start with places you patronize yourself. If you have gone to the same hair stylist for several years you could ask he/she for a gift card for services or products from their salon. Try restaurants that you eat at often. It is generally best to speak to a manager on duty, as a salesperson or cashier wouldn't normally have the authority to give something away. You could also ask some of the other parents to gather some of the gift cards to go in the basket as well. Some of them my have their own business, or may have connections that you do not. Best Wishes to you.

At Christmastime I had some chex mix that was fantastic. It's a sweet version of the snack mix from the store. I used honey nut chex (they're sweet) and a few other types of chex, but you can use frosted Cheerios, too. Mix a bunch of different cereals, about 20 cups of cereal total. Add a bag of M 'n M's...peanut or regular or get creative. You won't be cooking this, so add whatever he likes! Any chocolate covered candy works. Also. add nuts and pretzels if you like. I prefer the butter flavored pretzels that look like little squares. Melt one bag of white chocolate chips over a double boiler or in the microwave. (I burned them in the micro, so I used a double boiler instead. Don't just put in one pot as they burn really easily. A double boiler is one big pot on the bottom, filled with water that will boil, with a smaller pot holding the chips on top. This allows them to melt without burning. ) Keep stirring until it's smooth. Pour over the cereal. I put mine in an airtight container with a cover so I can just shake it up.....shake it up to coat all of the cereal mixture. Let it sit for about 20 minutes. Break up bigger chunks later. It's heavenly, low cost, and takes little effort. It tastes like it's been covered with marshmellow or frosting. Enjoy! :)

Nice looking, but easy hard candy recipe ideas anyone?
My girlfriend and I are putting together several holiday treat filled baskets for Christmas gifts. So far we are making the following:Cranberry Almond Biscotti, Chocolate-covered Oreo cookie "suckers" and creamy Lemon bars. We would really like to make the baskets with a variety of contrasting flavors and textures. Can anyone suggest anything else...ESPECIALLY a good and simple hard candy recipe. Good ideas for how to "dress up" classic(cookie sheet style) hard candies would also be of great help.

Help with business name ideas?
I design and make gift baskets. I am in the process of converting this side job into a professional business. I am looking for a catchy name for the new business. Something that says style, class, and uniqueness (like me) but also gives a curiousity, yet tells what it is I do. Not really looking for something so obvious like "Custom Baskets by Me" or "Baskets R Us" but something that's unique so it sticks. I make baskets for all occassions and have a small customer base but hoping to expand with the growth of the business production. All suggestions welcomed. The best of course gets 10 points! Thanks and good luck.
--------------------
"A Tisket A Tasket" might do the trick. I recently started a business myself and the name I chose (All About You) just popped into my head while I was lounging around. It has been extremely lucrative. Mine also starts with an "A".
