Baby shower gift???????????????
Hi all, my sister-in-law is having a baby shower soon. I'm not sure what exactly would be the perfect gift? I was thinking about getting perhaps a stroller, or a car seat. But then I was thinking about putting together a gift basket for her that has a lot of useful things such as bottles, bibs, and such. What would be the best gift?

Gift basket for sure! I always love doing that and you cannot go wrong like if they do not like the color or style of car seat or stroller but with gift basket it is something that can be used and you can never have too much of those items!

Vaseline, a little pack of diapers, day & night time lotions, travel wipes, a couple of cute onesies or outfits, pacifier, small toy or 2 (rattle, set of keys, etc), soothing music CD, baby wash, bib, washcloth & hooded towel. You don't have to put ALL that in. I figured you can pick a few things out from there. Maybe even a gift for the new parents as well? A gift cert maybe?

Silent Auction Basket Ideas!?
There is a benefit coming up for a little boy who has cancer and there will be a silent auction. People are invited to make a themed gift basket, so me and some friends are going to put one together! Chinese Auction Anyone?
I need to come up with a unique and different gift basket idea for a chinese auction at my grandson's school. It needs to be something everyone would buy tickets for. Looking to,spend in range of $125.00 or less. Maybe something with gift cards or Lottery tickets but really different.

ok so mothers day is coming in what a week ,do you have any gift ideas ? what do you think about this one?
i posted this question last night but didnt get a lot of replies ok so mothers day is on may 10th and i dont have any ideas what to give ot my mom im thinking about flowers but thats cliche i mean on her 50th birthday i got her a basket with 50 red roses and she was soo happy about it but you know flowers last for a week or 2 and they they get all dry so what i have in mind was to give her a perfume/fragrance she loves the light blue dolce and gabbana ( and i like the same fragrance but for men thats the only thing that i use) so im thinking about maybe that and a couple of red or yellow roses honestly i have no idea i have so many thing on my mind right now like all i can think of is that my 18th birth day is this Thurs. i am having some guests coming over and i dont have a cake ordered yet so im running like crazy just to get everything but do you think that she will be pleased with that kind of a gift ??

Like body soap, cute socks, picture frames, jewelry. They will really enjoy all the cool stuff inside and then they still have the bag that you specially chose for each of them. Have fun with this!

my son received 50$ as a birthday gift yesterday from a friend of mine?
we are not really friends her daughter and my son plays together sometime and I watch her daughter for her anytime she ask me for free..now her daughter birthday is on friday and I don't have 50$ to give her daughter so what do i do ..it would be tacky to give back the 50$ she gave my son right..I was going to make her daughter a basket of spring things(jump rope,chalk,books,candy etc)do my gift have to be the same amount as hers was for my child..what do I do

They did that out the kindness of their heart. But if you don't want to seem like that kind of person that can't give back then that gift basket is not a bad idea on any level. Homemade gifts for a baby shower...? Ideas?
I am putting together a gift basket for an expectant mom but because money is tight I am trying to go all homemade...I need ideas for things I can make for mother and baby... Some of the things I have already made include: A baby photo album...I took an old photo album that was given to me last Christmas and made a covering out of some cute whinnie the pooh fabric that I had cuz babys room is gonna be winnie the pooh A picture frame...Again an old gift that wasnt being used...bordered with the pooh bear fabric. A homemade recipe book with recipies for homemade baby food A fleece blanket made from some fleece material that I bought at a yard sale I need some more ideas please....

Gift advice....quick!!!?
Okay, I need to send some kind of gift to a boy in the hospital with special needs. He is 24 and won't like anything 'kiddie', but he loves construction trucks/equipment, music, movies, pictures. I don't want to send him flowers because he can't enjoy them and he doesn't eat so I can't send him a candy/food basket. Any ideas of something I can order that can be delivered today or tomorrow? Gift for recovery present?
so my friend got her appendix out last night, and i want to bring her a gift box..i got mi wisdom teeth out this summer and she brought be a basket full of fun things (i.e. magazines, pudding, baby spoon(cuz i couldnt open mi mouth)), and I wanted to do the same for her! so what can you eat, not eat...i wana put together something cute and creative..she is 15, but i dont wana copy her, what can i put in the box??

What are some good ideas to throw into this auction basket?
The theme is "Flavors of the Northwest" and so far we have a GurglePot (if any of you have heard of those), it's a water pitcher that looks like a fish and gurgles when you pour (made by someone in Seattle. We also have a gift card to a kitchen shop and a gift certificate for two at a restaurant in Seattle. Any ideas of what to add would be very appreciated!

Or if there is a place he would like to go or see on the honeymoon, you could send off for a gift card or print up one of your own to guarantee he gets to go there on the honeymoon. :)
