Still suffering from BABY BRAIN?!? Baby Shower gift for BFF!!?

My bff had a beautiful baby boy this weekend, and her baby shower is scheduled for next Sunday. They literally have NOTHING as they did not want to buy a bunch of stuff and then have a shower. They had no idea on sex of baby so they bought a few "generic" outfits..(lol, which totally dont fit as baby was only 6.12) I am doing her up a big laundry basket filled with all sorts of little things but I dont know what else to add....I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!!! What were some of the little things that you needed with a newborn? I so far have the following, but what else can I add? ~ Travel Bath/Change Pad ~ Hand Sanatizer (she is a serious germa-phob... :-) ~ Baby Lotion ~ Bottle Drying Rack (she is BF but will be pumping as well later) ~ Medicine Soother ~ Gripe Water ~ Baby Tylenol ~ A couple "preemie/1 month" outfits ~ Ice cube tray for freezing breastmilk ~ Face cloths I will also be putting in some mommy stuff...any sug for that as well? T/Y for the answers!!!
--------------------
Socks, Washcloths, bibs, onezies (they are gold) baby wipes, diapers (different sizes from 0 to 3) blankets, diaper bag, sleep sacs (they tightly wrap the baby which comforts them) a tub temp gauge (baby r us sells them and they are duckies that tell you if the water is to hot or cold.) For the mom Stuff for her to relax. candles, bubble bath, books, and one thing you can do to help is go there and help. Go and take care of the baby so she can sleep. HEAT WRAPS she might get cramps, or her boobs might hurt or something that a heat wrap might help. A wrap pillow that helps hold the baby up while nursing, Nursing gowns and shirts, and bras. I plan to nurse and the gowns, bras, and shirts are a lil prices so even buying one for her will be nice. (the shirt looks great so you can feed the kid in public with out being to exposed. GL also the basket is cute but you can also go and get wicker baskets to help sort the babies stuff. ALSO CHECK OUT DOLLAR STORE. They have a lot of things that can be used for cheap. Walmart and target has baby kits that have the nail clippers and stuff to take care of the babies hygien.

Truckers, if you were getting a gift what would you want?

My fiance is a trucker. He usually has to stay out a few nights a week. Usually two nights home, two gone. I want to put together a Christmas goody basket for him. I know I'm getting him a new trucker atlas, but otherwise I'm stumped. Which one is best? I'm hoping for one around 20-25 dollars. (A link on that would be great.) I'm looking for ideas like snacks that stay fresh for a while, magazines, etc. I would like to get him a tv but thats out of the budget right now. Since he doesn't have one, he needs something to do to pass the time when he's in the sleeper. What about when he has to go to a truck stop to shower? What would be nice to have then?
--------------------
A new atlas will cost about $30 but worth the money. I personally like Rand McNally. You can go to any truck stop and pick one up. If he does not have a fifth wheel puller get him it will make life easier and it will not hurt his back as easy, it cost about $10 or $25. For the snacks get some thing easy to eat while driving. Like grapes, apples, dried fruits, and maybe some vegetables. That is the kind of on the go foods that I eat while on the road. Get some books on CD or tape what ever the truck has he will enjoy that and will pass the time while driving. You can go to the library and get those and you have several days to return them. For the sleeper get him a hand held game like poker. Maybe a good book or two that would he like to read. A small bag to carry all of his cloths and shower thing in. I don't know if he would use body wash but if he does it is a lot better than the soap the truck stops have. I hope that this will help you in making your decisions.

Do I have to bring a gift to the Bachelorette party?

Im going this friday.... No stripper, no going out to the clubs or bar.. This is her second marriage, so she doest want any of that stuff.. Its just going to be a small dinner at her aunts house! She is still young too. She is not having a wedding shower. I don't know if i by something for her and her husband like for the honey moon or.. what? Last Bachelorette party was for my best friend .. we made a naughty basket for her and her husband.. like oils, massager, candles, a CD.. do i do something like that again?
--------------------
A gift isn't required, but of course it's always appreciated. :) I think the naughty basket is a great idea, or even just a pair of cute "sexy little bride" undies.

I miss my neighbor's cat....?

The little fellow used to stop by every morning for a nice hot cuppa freshly brewed Starbuck's coffee and I'll tell you, we had some very in depth conversations. He never managed to finish his coffee and, thinking perhaps he didn't care for the rich brew, I switched to a less costly, store brand. After that first cup, he hasn't returned. Do you think I insulted him? Would a nice gift basket by way of an apology be an appropriate gesture? I really miss the camaraderie. There is a nice Dachshund down the street but he's rather opinionated so I don't know if I'd get along with him as well as I do the cat. Any advice?
--------------------
Did you, or did you not, originally serve the kitty's coffee in a saucer decorated with kitties and pussy-willows? And did you, or did you not, on the day you served kitty the off-brand coffee, serve it in a saucer decorated with Sights of the St Louis Fair of the early 1900s? I put it to you that your feline friend has hit the road to try and meet Esther and Tootie and their family's cat, humming a chorus of "Meet Me in St. Louis, Louie". I suggest you grab the nearest trolley and clang-clang-clang yourself out that way, bearing a can of tuna and some fresh-roast, to offset feline disillusionment.

What movie should I buy?

I want to buy a movie as part of a birthday gift basket for my hubby. He loves Jack Black, Will Ferrell type movies. We have a lot of them, but haven't seen any for about two years. Please give me some ideas on what movies to get. Comedy Please.

Baby Oil vs. Lotion for eczema?

Ok my baby's dr. told me that you are not suppost to use "baby" lotion anymore (like the kind that comes in the pink bottles) she said just use regular lotion that is mild or for sesitive skin nothing with fragrences or stuff like that. I have been using vaseline lotion so far, because my son has eczema on his face and knees and craddle cap on his head and eyebrows (i know it's odd, but he was born with craddle cap on his eyebrows only then is started under his hair on his head). Well my friend gave me some baby lotion as part of a gift basket and i was wondering if i should use that after his baths and the other lotion other times? Does anyone else use baby oil on there baby? what are your experiences. I recently bought Gentle Naturals disney baby baby eczema cream and that has really helped the rash on his cheeks. Should i stick with that? I am not sure what do you all recommend? Oh the "baby" lotion has that same stuff in it that is in plastic bottles they dont recommend using anymore the "bpa" stuff. At least thats how the dr. explained it only she use the technical name but i cant remember it i just it as bpa. oh and my baby is 6 weeks old (born on christas eve)
--------------------
Ryan has pretty bad eczema, depending on the day. We were originally using Johnsons Baby Lotion as a newborn but it just made it worse and my doc also told me not to use that stuff.. We are now using the vaseline lotion as well, it keeps him mostuirized. I have been thinking about trying that Disney cream you are refering too! I would just stick with that if its working, its hard to find a product that works.. Also I would not use the johnson lotion, it could cause a serious breakout on your baby!!

My friend has a huge crush on my mother! What should I do?

My best friend has this huge crush on my mother! My mom does not know it of course! He likes to come over everyday and help her around the house, says sweet things to my mom, He even brought a gift basket for her one time. But here is the thing! My friend is 13! And my mom is married to my dad. I try talking to him! I even try telling him to date one of the girls from our class. But he don't like any of them. He just likes my mom! Is this normal? What should I do? He always say he loves my mom and wants to go out with her!
--------------------
This is not at all unusual and happens more often than you would think. Don't worry about it, he'll get tired of this game and move on. Guess what? Your mom knows and is handling it her way. But if it is bothering you, tell him he can no longer come over to your house. You might loose his friendship, but he will be forced to move on with his life.

handmade bridesmaid to bride coupon ideas...?

I asked a question earlier about gift basket ideas for my newly engaged cousin and I liked the idea of "handmade coupons"...such as "good for one day of helping you stuff baggettes with birdseed" or "good for one saturday of registering... I am a bridesmaid so I think this is a cute idea....BUT I need a few more ideas for coupons..she will probably be taking her fiance to register, so she won't need me. (When I got married last year, I didn't take a bridesmaid). So I need some "coupon" ideas.....some cute things, and even funny! Thanks!
--------------------
One could be good for helping you write thank you cards... I know I didn't look forward to this part! My hand got tired! Also, good for one night of drinks on me when the stress of the planning gets to you. Trust me when the wedding is about 1 month away she will get so stressed you will be getting more and more phone calls with her venting about this or that.... take her out for a few drinks. As a bridesmaid you probably will be at her dress shopping and fittings so make coupons for that. Lastly, you can make a coupon to be her stand in fiance if there are any parts of the wedding planning he doesn't want to be a part of. You can call it the good for a day as you stand in "fiance". He will probably thank you for it!

Salvation question revised.?

Jeffery Dahmer accepted christ as his personal saviour before he died, which means he gets to go to heaven. My grandmother died a Jehovah's Witness, so sadly she will go straight to hell. It's hard to put my finger on it, but something seems wrong with that. I mean right now, Dahmer probably is up in heaven enjoying a nice gift basket of steamed Puerto Ricans care of Yeshua, and my grammy is being forced to give Satan a handy. This message is mainly aimed at evangelicals. I want to make it clear that my grandmother absolutely did not believe in the trinity. She also believed Jesus died on a stake and not a cross. Plus she believed that Jesus himself was not god, but in fact god's son. As you can see, she was no Kirk Cameron. Please be specific in your answer about where my grandmother is. Don't just tell me a bible verse. I know the verse, that's why I'm asking about my mimaw.
--------------------
I am a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses. According to the Bible your Grandmother is asleep in death, but has the hope of being Resurrected by Jehovah. The Hellfire doctrine isn't Biblical.

What could I get my Mother for Mother's Day?

My parents recently redid our kitchen so she has been buying new things for the kitchen. I was hoping to buy her something nice for the kitchen, but it seems like she has bought everything already. Recently she has bought a new toaster, microwave, spice rack, paper towel rack, new coffee maker, new oven/stove and a new television to put in the eating area. So I was thinking about maybe making some type of gift basket with smaller things? I was thinking about like new utensils, measuring cups, and other small things like that? Yes or No? If so, what other small things? My Mom isn't the type that would want flowers or jewelry so things like that I wouldn't even look at. But Mother's day is creeping up on me, and I really need to figure something out. lol. (: Thanks!
--------------------
I think mother is the precious relation.we should love our mother from the heart.no one take her place in our lives.I think you are right.you should buy a gift basket with smaller things. you should buy some uni ques things for her.don't give her kitchen utensils. give her some book or beauty product if she don't like jewelery.bake a cake for her.this is the best way to show love.

I need alot of help with our annual Christmas Party this year. Any and all donations welcomed.?

I am a supervisor and I work with the mentally challenged and the developemental disabled. They really have a good time at our party. They also look forward to it. When I first started in 2003 there were only 50 consumers now we have 149 and we really need as many donations as possible. We are a none profit organization who really supports the disabled. Any gift basket or blankets anything will help. We have drawings for door prizes and thats when our little people win their prizes. Please e-mail me at chandrafrazier@comfortlivingservices.com for any questions and I will try and answer them. Once again every little bit counts and the smallest not important thing for us means the world to them . Once again PLEASE HELP.
--------------------
that's really thoughtful of you . . . i know you're trying to cast a wide net to get this taken care of, but it might be easier and more beneficial - and more community oriented - if you look in your community for resources. certainly local businesses might be able to sponsor or donate and you never know what an ad, a letter to the editor or a small article in the local newspaper (if you can figure out a way for them to write about you!) can bring. families of your clients might be able to kick in a little cash or manpower and even school kids/high school organizations might be able to donate time to help with decorating, serving or even like the high school band or chorus could come play some Christmas tunes. sometimes all you have to do is ask . . . and it's harder for people to say no when it's something positive in their own community - and when you're asking face to face. for door prizes, local businesses might be happy to donate one of their products or a gift certificate for services (hair cut, massage, cleaning, etc) and sometimes larger retail stores will donate products to a good cause. good luck!

What is a cute gift idea for a new relationship?

I have just started dating someone and for Easter he is making me a huge dinner and desserts...yes that is plural. haha (because I gave up sweets for Lent.) He is very sappy and so am I, so I'd like to do something sweet for him because of all the nice things he does for me. What are some cute ideas that aren't too cheesy? Some ideas I've got to work with so far...he loves starbucks, fine wine, and University of KY! So one idea is to make him an easter basket with each of these things...help! :)
--------------------
Sounds like you got your idea, my only suggestion is to add a big goofy easter bunny tie a ribbon with a Coffee cup in one hand a wine glass in the other with a wine bottle and the bunny wearing a University of KY hat or shirt. That would be soo cute and goofy and he will love it.

What the best gift you have ever recieved and or given? (not romantic. for family members)?

I have no idea what to get my mom or dad for christmas. if this helps: My mom like gardening, pretty things and cooking. shes somewhat spiritual and is an herbalist. My dad is a nature person too. Loves the out doors. Very practical person. think a little more then "get your mom gardening gloves and a basket with seeds and tools" and "get your dad a hiking stick" or things along thoes lines. Last year I got my mom a copper heart wind chime from gaiam and my dad a cherry pit neck pillow that you can heat in the microwave.
--------------------
The best gift I recieved (besides a romantic present) for Christmas was my dog, Trixie. She is now 7 and I love her! I don't know if your parents would be big on pets, though. You could always make a donation to a charity through their name, such as to an environmental/conservation charity. Or, you could get them some camping supplies -- like a tent, sleeping bags, etc.

I need a gift to bring to thanksgiving dinner with my friend's family! ?

They keep a kosher house, so I can't bring food that I've made. Thing is, I was counting on being able to bake something and now I don't have time to get anything nice. Is showing up with supermarket flowers/homemade fruit basket better or worse than showing up empty-handed? I'm not old enough to buy alcohol either; I don't have a car, I can only get to the little dollar store and grocery store within walking distance. What do I do? Help!
--------------------
How about something like a scented candle they can burn another time, or a box of chocolate (as long as its kosher) that they can eat later. Some people think that they must bring something that must be used right then, and that is not the case. Since the Hanuka holiday are upon us, perhaps you can find some of those disposable hand towels that are so popular now at the grocery store with a seasonal design. (They are very plush and come in a dispenser or basket, and are meant to be put in a powder room so each guest has a fresh towel, instead of putting a decorative hand towel in there that no one wants to "mess up") It is very thoughtful of you to remember a hostess gift. Kudos to your parents for raising such a thoughtful person!

First birthday with husband?

Long story: Husbands birthday is next Saturday. We met at the end of September last year and got married 3 weeks ago for anyone that's doing the math. Anyway, I want to make it a 3 day birthday for him beginning next Friday and here's my plan FRIDAY - 2 dozen chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our home (he gets home from work before me). Then arrive home with a balloon bouquet and a gift basket for an early-evening massage I will be giving him. SATURDAY - 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies delivered to our home, breakfast in bed with gifts to open then spending the day together napping and making love. A dinner out with a special birthday cake brought to our table and to the strip clulater with some friends. SUNDAY - A bouquet of (very manly) flowers delivered to our home and out to brunch with family. Is there anything else I should do? Shouldn't do? Any unique ideas?
--------------------
Sounds nice. You know him best, so if this sounds like something he'd like, I say go for it.

Christmas ideas, for family. help?!?

My dad is a 42 year old man, who before Christmas will be turning 43. my dad isn't really a tie and suit kinda guy. hes a mechanic. mainly the past Christmases my mom would buy his gift and put my name on it. (things like boxers, sweatpants, etc.). So i have no clue what to get him, Ive gotten him cologne but he doesn't use it. so i need ideas for him. and my mom. shes a very business person. i got her a necklace when i went to Florida, but i need more. she wants a suit but i cant find her one, she wants a pin stripe one. but they don't have them in her size. shes 44 yrs old so i need ideas on her. and lastly my brother...... well.. he likes construction and art. everyone gets him legos and lincon logs, but he looses them, ive made him an entire art gift basket, about 100 gel pens, 200 pencils and crayons, and 60 markers. and 250 sheets of sketch paper, he cant find any of it. id get him clothes, but hes hard to fit without him being there, and he doesn't like my style for him. so i could use ideas on him too. THANKS SO MUCH.!
--------------------
dad: new customized tool box or set of tools he has been wanting. you could also give him a nice lunchkit filled with all different kinds of snacks he enjoys. (drinks/candy/chips, etc) mom: shoes? rings? bracelets? and you can never go wrong with a multiframe picture frame and make a collage of the your familie's best family pics for her office or room! brother: not sure how old he is, but puzzles have been great! and if you make the puzzle yourself, and write fun notes on the back, it makes them much more excited to complete it! also, boys seem to like video games/computer games.

What to give a coworker who's been fired?

I have been asked to buy the "farewell" gift for one of my co-workers. I've worked at that company for a little over a year & tho I like this person I don't know her that well. I do know that since I started she's been temporarily laid off once before but this time she's been "permanently" laid off. We're all very angry about this. Anyway no one really has suggestions at the office, we're losing 3 other employees in the same week so I think everyone is too emotional to give me a suggestion. I was thinking of giving her a gift basket made up with some candles, nice teas, spa/bath stuff & a few little wines. Is this kind of thing appropriate? My motivation is to give her something that will help her relax and pamper herself. Anyone else have any suggestions? PS- this present will be opened in front of everyone (no pressure right) and most of the staff has chipped in so its not all my money but I'm pitching in a bit extra to make it special.
--------------------
Sounds very nice to me. Lots of thought and if they do not like it, let someone else do it next time.

My Ex and what happened on Friday?

her birthday was Friday and I sent her a godiva gift basket and roses and we haven't been together for two months. I would have felt bad not sending her something because I do love her. Anyhow, I know from friends of hers she's still single. We have been on again off again for three years and mainly because of her breaking up. She sent me an email saying thank you for the gifts and she started telling me about her neighbors in this email. I responded and she hasn't responded. A mutual friend of mine said she's been online today emailing everyone. Why is she ignoring my last email? What should I do? One of my friends said she just likes to use me and doesn't care about me. I know that when I use to go to her house, I would be the one paying for everything and on my bday she doesn't even give me a card. It's been two days now and no response. Should I just not bother her? Let her come to me? Will she come to me? 11 hours ago - 3 days left to answer.

she might just be trying to get over you, for good.

What to do at a beauty product themed party?

I'm thinking of having a beauty themed party for girlfriends. I thought it would be fun for everyone to bring a small gift basket with 5 of their favorite beauty items, ( hair products, moisturizers, makeup, skin care, ect) and then play some sort of game where everyone gets someone else's basket. Besides that, what are some things we could do do further the beauty theme? I really don't want to hire outside parties to come, like a pedicurist or a manicurist. Looking for things we can do ourselves or things I can provide for the guests. Thanks so much for any ideas!
--------------------
Or you could all try a bit of each others 5 items? That would be a good way for people to sample different products that they wouldnt normally come accross. You could have a range of beauty treatments going on through the evening, like nail painting and if anyone knows head massaging then that would be very relaxing too! Its a nice idea - wish one of my friends would do that!

Nothing I do for my g/f ever is good enough, she hasnt complimented me once she never admit she is wrong help?

I was in a 7 year relationship this is my first realtionship since my realtionship ended year ago. I had no idea when I picked this girl up but her best friend happens to be the sister of the girl that I had the 7 year realtionship with. I know she knows my past and that could be a reason why she is angry but it seems like there is something else or somone that she is angry at and I just happen to be the bullseye or solution for all her problems so she takes it out on me. Nothing I do is ever good enough for her and she is controllive, she has to have it her way or she screams at me. An example today I didnt rap the gift basket because it was too big so I put it into a gift bag and she lost it on me started screaming and pushing me and saying that this is dis respectful and very ignorant HELP !!!

A gift for my sister?

So my sister is having surgery next week. It's a tough surgery, she has a lot of ovarian cysts that need to be taken out, this is her 2nd surgery and her chances for kids keep getting less and less, BUT we're optimistic her doc is great ect. Anyway I wanted to get her something...I know flowers are nice, but I was thinking more like some movies or some kind of basket...things to keep her busy while she's laid up. Any ideas!? Thank You! :-)
--------------------
May your sister surgery go great next week. I know that God will be with your family that day. Gift ideas for her is just being her sister is the biggest gift you can gave her. Make her a basket of goodies, a DVD, like a love story, a book to read. Help her around the house. Help her make meals head of time and freeze them so all she has to do is put them in the microwave oven to cook. For the first couple of nights offer to spend the night at her house to help her if she need it. She will be very sore after coming home from her surgery . Good Luck and your family will be in our prayers!

Would this be a good gift for her baby?

A good friend of my will be having a baby soon.. I don't want to get her clothes because i know everyone else is going to be giving her clothes. Does any mommies have a unique idea i can do? I was planning on buying a medium size basket like a laundry basket like this: http://s.kmart.com/is/image/Sears/999000… and i was planning to buy wipes and baby things such as nail clippers and thermometer, bottles (she said she will be needing bottles) bottle brush etc. and baby books! Is this a good idea? or i wanted to get her diapers with a personalized blanket with the baby name?
--------------------
i think that is a really cute idea. you can buy the basket and then put the diapers, wipes, nail clippers, thermometer, bottles, and bottle brush in it. thats a really good idea and your friend would be very appreciative of it. suggestions: bibs, binkeys, crib sheets, recieving blankets, wash cloths, a baby towl with a hood, baby lotion, baby soap, or baby sunscreen. hopes this helps!!!:)

I'm a 16 year old guy and have been together with my girlfriend for four months now though we were good friends for a while before we started dating. Her birthday is coming up later this week and I've been stressing out over what to get her for a while now and am kind of lost. I'm willing to spend money but I don't want to do anything too expensive (under $50). Initially I was thinking to give her a charm bracelet but she doesn't really wear jewelery that often so I now am thinking of giving her a picture of the two of us in a neat frame, a small box of chocolates, and writing a letter to her, but that doesn't seem like very much. What else should I give her? Maybe a basket with lots of small things, but what kinds of things should I put in it?
--------------------
16- well clothes, makeup basket, something for her bed, a cute teddy, it doesnt have to be expensive but just memorable, teddy and a bracelet, it doesnt have to be a charm bracelet, thts kind of old fashion, something from claires at the mall, something grlish .gud luck

gift idea for sick newborn?

My friend just had her new bundle of joy come into this world a week ago, unfortunately he's very ill. The doctors cannot figure out what is wrong with him, and he's still in the NICU. I want to send her something, seeing as we are 1000 mile apart but I can't seem to think of anything worthy to send to her. Flowers are out because of it being ICU, and I was going to originally send a baby spa basket, with all these lotions and balms especially made for babies but seeing as they can't use them on him, I am at a loss as to what to get for her. What do you get for a mother with a sick baby? And what do you get for a newborn that isn't even out of the hospital?
--------------------
I would just get a little guardian angel charm for now, or something along those lines. It's thoughtful, let's them know you are thinking of them and you never know, a guardian angel may be all he needs right now. Can't think of anything else at the moment

Gift ideas for someone leaving for military related reasons?

My on and off boyfriend (for over the past 3 years), more "on" these days is leaving to be stationed in Utah for the air force for two years and can possibly be deployed while there. He is leaving this weekend and we are considering trying to do a long distance relationship type thing, even if we don't end up "in a relationship" I'd like to do something special for him when he leaves. I'm thinking of filling a little basket with stuff or something... anybody have suggestions? I really need help! I don't want it to be "over the top", just something simple to show that I care and will miss him. Thanks for the help guys!

Gift for boyfriend's parents?

My boyfriend and I have known each other since February, been dating since end of June / beg. of July. Come Christmas, we'll have been dating for almost 6 months. I talk to him at least once a day, and see him a few times a week (depending on our work schedules, but we work together). I know his mom semi well, been out to dinner with his dad a few times (his parents are divorced). We both consider this relationship very serious (I'm in my early 20s). I kind of want to get his parents something small for Christmas. His mom has a boyfriend who lives with her so I don't exactly just want to get something specific for her. I was thinking a basket of goodies (chocolates, etc.) for them. Then his dad, I'm honestly not sure. He's very into war movies and the such, and he's the very conservative type. Any ideas or comments on my ideas are much appreciated, as I'm not sure if I should do so or not.
--------------------
a basket off goodies the his mother could share would probably be the best, and ask his dad which movies he does not own but would like to or you could just take a stab in the dark so to speak

What to get for a 13 year old girl's birthday?

I think I'm going to get her a lot of little things, like a little gift basket, but I don't want it to be too expensive. So far, I'm going to get her the movie He's Just Not that Into You, Itunes gift card, some lotion from Bath and Body Works, and a coloring book. What are 1 or 2 cheap (that's already about $35) and creative things that I could get her?

Does anyone have the original Subway stores banning homeschool kids website?

Hey there, is there anyone out there that actually took a snap shot or archived the Subway essay contest website? The one that banned homeschool children from entering. http://www.subwayfreshbuzz.com/kids/cont… This morning, after being online since Janunary, they corrected the words: Untied States, to United States and Gift Bastket to Gift Basket. I did get to save the Bastket misspelling as a gif, but they had already United the Untied States. So if anyone has this page saved please let me know where to find it online. 10 points to the person who finds it first:-)
--------------------
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the contest and then read.... "NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Contest is open only to legal residents of the Untied (sic) States who are currently over the age of 18 and have children who attend elementary, private or parochial schools that serve grades PreK-6. No home schools will be accepted. " http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/05/subway_bans_homeschooled_kids.html I can not find an actual image of the site that has the spelling mistakes, (UNTIED and BASTKET) but the site above has the direct quote. They have obviously fixed it now. However, with approx. 3 million homeschoolers they have really offended many! I suppose Subway just doesn't want our business.... I guess it really doesn't matter because this essay contest was promoting fitness. And as I search my brain through the 400+ homeschoolers in our local group, not one of them is obese! NOT ONE! Just like with your running shoes; United we stand....Untied we fall!

What do you think of this?

So my friend challenged me to write a super short story using just a letter format and I came up with this. I kinda like it but I'm not too sure. What do ya'll think? ---- Dear you, I love you so much. You just don't know it. I wish you would quit staring at the ground and look up! I'm checking you out? Don't you notice? I'm not even trying to be subtle. I even tried that "toss my hair and bite my lip seductively" thing which is like the oldest trick in the book, but obviously your pre-calculus was more interesting. (By the way, you suck at pretending not to notice….you were "reading" your book upside down). And, also, by the way, when I said "Happy Birthday. I can give you a really good present," I was not talking about a small monetary donation to a charity of your choice nor was I inferring that I was going to give you a gift basket of fruit and chocolate. You are so dense! Seriously, you think a sixteen year old boy would know when a girl says "gift" and raises her eyebrows suggestively, she's talking about something different. (Hey, did you notice how I sounded all husky like Demi Moore when I asked you? I practiced that sexy voice in the mirror for like a week before your birthday. Not that I'd ever admit it). Oh, and I know you weren't flirting with Ashley before third period the other day. You tried to make it look like that (valiant effort, I commend you) but what I've been trying to figure out is WHY? The only conclusion I could come to was that you were trying to make me jealous, but I'm still not sure why. I also briefly considered the possibility you actually were flirting with her, but I ruled that out because A) you started talking to her just as I walked by and B) she didn't look like she even knew who you were. WHY? I ask. WHY must we try and make each other jealous. Honestly, if I said, "Hey! Take me, I'm yours! Chemistry room, you, me, a Bunsen burner, fifth period!" I would show up. You, of course would skip class. So let's summarize here: you're oblivious, a bad liar with possible paranoia. But I still love you. Let's make it happen! XOXOXO, me.
--------------------
Your so good! Can you answer mine please! Ryan Fellows-Fitts: What do you reckon of this short story? LOL!

Question about what guys are supposed to do on Valentine's day?

My mother doesn't like my boyfriend/ex-bf for many reasons- he's 22 and doesn't plan on getting a job/focusing on graduating community college for a few months because he's busy running track and goofing around, and is extremely immature. But after what he did on Valentine's day, she finally expressed that I should dump him. On Christmas and our 6 month anniversary he got me nothing. (I've spent almost $1,000 on him on his birthday/vacations/dinner I've made him etc) And, so when Valentine's day came along I was hoping for a relatively nice gift, seeing as he hasn't gotten me more than a bouquet of flowers during our 8 month relationship. When I told my mom that all the got me was 3 flowers and a teddy bear ( and I had gotten him a gift basket worth more than $40), she flipped out and wanted me to break up with him because she saw it as immature, unthoughtful, and treating me poorly. And although he doesn't have a *steady* job, he makes roughly $200 a month working for his sister and she is always telling him he can work for her if he needs money. Plus his parents are loaded, so he could have always asked them for money so I don't think lack of money is a good excuse. His excuse was "that's what you're supposed to do for girls on v-day, right? flowers. that's what I thought..." What do you think?
--------------------
I think this could be one of two things. One, you make him sound like a jerk who doesn't care about you by how you describe him here- NOT saying that's true. I'm just saying by reading this paragraph that's how it sounds since you don't list anything nice about him. That could be the case. And in that sense, then fine, dumb him becuase he won't change. Second, perhaps you're just putting more into this than he is. You haven't even been dating a year right? A few months might seem like a big deal, but it's really not. You guys don't even fully know each other yet. I've been with my boyfriend for four years and the first year didn't really get each other big things (we were also in HS however), just cd's,movies, stuffed animals ect. It progressed as our relationship did. You're spending an awful lot on him and perhaps he thinks it's too soon. As a last note, really if he's not hurting you, abusing you, cheating on you, doing dangerous/dumb/illegal things, then it's none of your mom's buisness. Its your realtionship and you need to set your own standards. If you expect more out of him on holidays and gifts then fine, but it's not up to her to decide that. Good luck!

Present Help For My 90 Year Old Grandma?

Hello All, In Advance: Sorry this is going to be really long! Alright, so to start tonight we had a party for my grandma who turns 90 on Friday (the 19th). I love my grandma to death. She spends every holiday with us, she lives 10 minutes away so we are always together too. I am very close to my grandma and I want to treat 90 special because who knows how much time I have left with her. The party was tonight and we are doing a little get together on her actual birthday and I want to get her something nice. Here is a little background on my beloved grandma: -She was born in Italy in 1919 and came to this country in 1947. -She loves to crochet (but she insists that she can get her yarn for free through a friend so there goes that) -She loves traditional Italian things (but my cousin gave her an italian specialty food gift basket. grr) -She loves puzzles -She likes to cook but not too much since she is 90 now lol -She is from Isola di Istria -She loves going to the pool (but again gosh darn it by cousin and his wife gave her something for that too) -She loves going to atlantic city (and yes, someone gave her money to go there too) -She takes great pride in her heritage. Ok, so thats my grandma in a nutshell lol. Also we were going to get her a personalized photo album for photos from the party but guess what, someone already gave her that too! So yes, now I am stuck back at square one. My grandma has always been the hardest person to shop for. Christmas I'm always stuck. But I don't want 90 to be small you know, I want to give her something special. I just don't know what! My mom says we only planned up to 85 and now we are out of ideas! If any of you have an idea as to what I can get my grandma that would be really helpful. I've tried to think but I can't! I have to get the gift before Friday so quick responses are wonderful. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry again for the very long message *Also Im 17 and my brother is 15 going on 16 so we don't have too much money. The most expensive thing we were really looking at was like 60-70 dollars and we plan on splitting it.

Any cyclists out there?

I need advice, I'm planning my Christmas gift for my boyfriend, but I need some guidance. He's really big on cycling (both road and mountain) so I figured I'd create a cycling gift basket (kinda). I wanna get him a tour bag http://www.performancebike.com/shop/prof… and fill it with little things that he'll need during his rides. Maybe things he wouldn't really get himself but would be handy or things he runs out of frequently. Is the bag a good idea? and what kind of things would you suggest to fill it with?
--------------------
I agree with Sam, since clothing is really tough to buy for someone else. Here's my stocking stuffer wish list: CO2 canister and cartridges (he can use two if he mountain and road bikes) GU or Shot Blocks--snoop around and see if you can find the kind he likes Gatorade or other drink mix Tubes Chain lube and a plastic chain cleaner thingie (yes, I'm a girl) A new chain (a nice one!) Bag Balm (available at drugstores...kind of a gag, but maybe not) Sun screen Lip stuff Allen wrench cool tool Pedros tire levers--hard to break If he rides during the winter, I suggest a Pearl Izumi skull cap for under his helmet. One size fits all and can be used for skiing and other sports. My huzbin and I both have them and love them! Lightweight shoe covers--neoprene can be too hot, I'd stay away from that. Check with the guys and gals at your local store, too. They'll be able to help.

Ideas for an 11 year old?

For Christmas, I don't know what to get my niece. I want to get her something special, but I have a lot of people to buy for. My budget for her is about $50 (maybe more or less, we'll see). I am only 16 so I make minimum wage, so I have to work with this. My niece is 11. I was thinking of maybe giving her a huge stocking, a gift basket, or a cute purse/bag and fill it with: A good book (She likes Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, stuff like that) A DVD (She likes funny movies, Just My Luck, Uncle Buck, The Notebook, ) A CD (or movie tickets) Jewelry Hat/Scarf/gloves Lotion, hair stuff, makeup, perfume etc. slippers and fuzzy socks (she loves stuff like that) Candy Pajama pants t-shirt or hoodie (from aero, limited too, jcpenney, etc.) So what do you think? Is this a good gift? any other suggestions? What else should I put in it, or what should I eliminate? I know I won't be able to get everything in that budget but I'll find good prices and get whatever I can.
--------------------
I am 11 and turning 12 in 7 days so I can help! Movie- The Notebook Limited Two Shirt Aero Shirt CD- Taylor Swifts new album Fearless (but it depends on what music she listens too) Lotion Charm Necklace Framed Poster or you could give her a basket of goodies including Lotion, Movie or CD, Fuzzy Socks or Slippers, pack of bubble gum, baby bottle pop, or any candy, gloves or scarf, perfume, and a bop or tiger beat magazine.

How do i thank the whole company?

*My husband's boss and co-workers know we're expecting our first child* Today, my husband brought home a really big gift basket full of baby items for our new little creation [who should be arriving within the next few days!] It was from the whole plumbing company + the owners wife & family. I've never even met his boss nor his wife, and only know one of my husbands co-workers. This was a very generous gift. Q1: How should i write the thank you card to everyone? [of course i would like him to hand it to his boss/company owner] Q2: I was thinking of sending him to work on Monday with some sort of treat for everyone. What should it be? Any help would be great! Especially on how to word the "thank you" card!

Was i wrong to do this?

On Halloween night, I took my favorite candies and decided to make a little gift basket of candy for a friend who dosen't go trick or treating because her family's church dosen't allow it and I felt bad she never got candy. I spent a lot of time putting little ribbons etc on the basket, careful not to put pumpkins, witches or anything that has to do with halloween itself. When I gave it to her at school, I was surprised to find that she didn't want it. She gave me the whole "Satan's birthday" thing, and I just tried to tell her that it was just candy, and it wasn't meant to have anything to do with the devil, and I politely insisted on her taking it. She did, reluctantly. Now I'm feeling as though I shouldn't have made it for her, but another part of me feels like the candy didn't do anything so why didn't she just take it, without giving me a lecture on how good chrstians don't trick or treat. Was I wrong to insist on her taking the candy?

you weren't wrong and neither was she...you are just are miles apart when it comes to your beliefs...and that's OK too as long as no one disrespects the other....

present for my maths tutour?

My maths and chemistry tutor is a family friend. He's tutored me in maths for 4 years and chem for 1 year, and has been doing it for free. If I'd been paying it would've cost just over $10,000. I've finished school now and want to get him a present, but I can't think of anything. The cost doesn't bother me as long as it's not 'cheap.' Also I'd like it to be something more than a bottle of nice wine or a food/chocolate gift basket. He also gets alot of pens and ties form people, so I will stay clear of them. Anyone have an ideas for a gift? thank you!

She wants me to be her matron of honor?

My husband's brother is getting married in May. The plan is small courthouse wedding, nothing major. I like the two of them okay, but never considered doing anything major for it. (I got married last year and they didn't bring a gift, not even a card and their daughter screamed the entire time I was saying my vows.) Well, I've put the past behind me. Now my husband tells me I need to throw a bridal shower and bachelorette party for the girl because no one else is. I don't know if I want to, but since I work at an adult novelty shop and get discounts, I did make her a fun bachelorette gift basket. This morning, my husband woke me up and told me "Alana wants you to be her Matron of honor." I was really confused. I asked why. He said because her family doesn't like my brother-in-law, so I'm next in line. This really confused me because supposedly they are having a courthouse wedding and she's not even going to have a wedding dress. Why does she need bridesmaids? And she didn't ask me, she asked him to ask me! I've always wanted to be a bridesmaid, but I feel like I'm the last on her list and I'm being used. What would you do?
--------------------
You can just accept..since the wedding is going to be so simple you wont have to do a lot, and if they ask..just say that you are busy... as for the parties..talk to her family..and see if they can come up with something..maybe she doesn't have a lot of friends and needs someone from his family to be supportive...

I have a recipe for a wonderful sounding hot chocolate mix, but it calls for ground anise, which I can't find?

Unfortunately, I cannot use extract, it is for a gift that I want to put in a canister in a gift basket...
--------------------
you can roll it with a rolling pin until crushed, or if you don't have a rolling pin use a thick glass or jar. Put the whole seeds on a piece of paper and roll hard. That is how it is done for many Christmas cookie recipes using anise seeds, it breaks the seed coats enough to release the flavor.

What have you bought/are buying for loved ones?

so far: - Indian craft for Mom... it has blue/white stars strung together & hangs above a door - Avon gift basket with Strawberry & Guava body spray + body lotion + shower gel for Grandma - book (Slam by Nick Hornby) for Bro * I also participated in the Angel Tree program & bought Twilight (book), Monopoly, Sorry!, an outfit, & backpack for my child, with help from Mom & Grandma. The only thing I wasn't able to purchase from her list was Nintendo DS games, which I sadly couldn't afford. still have left: - Bath & Body Works Winter Candy Apple hand soap + body lotion set for Sis - toys & maybe clothes for Niece - not sure about Dad... probably an antique car model - also unsure about Grandpa... probably a Walmart gift card Hmm, I believe that's it. I plan on baking cookies & wrapping them in cute paper for those I can't afford, such as my brother-in-law, cousins, etc.

Question for pregnant women/new mums! What to buy for a baby shower for the baby & mum!?

My friend is having a baby and ive got some clothes (4 shirts, a tracksuit set, mittens, shoes, leggings, bath frame support, hooded bath towel and washcloth for her little girl. Any suggestions on what else to get for the baby? Something inexpensive as i have already spent quite a lot of money. I also wanted to get a gift for mummy. I know she is feeling quite overwhelmed and left out as every conversation she has with anyone is just about the baby etc! I thought it would be nice if i got something for her to let her know we havent forgotten about her! I was thinking of making a gift basket and putting a few items into it for her but i am not a mummy so i have absolutely no idea what to put in it. HELP! So mummies to be and new mummies.. what would you want for yourself? & what else would be a great help for baby?
--------------------
Everybody always gives new mommy's-to-be baby clothes, and I got so many clothes at my baby shower but alot of people forget to buy new mommy's a baby thermometer, baby clothes soap, new born pacifiers, diapers of all sizes, keep sake items, infants tylenol, and teething medicine. And for a gift for the new mom...you can get her a bath set or a gift card.

FREAKING OUT, bad bad daughter ); my mums birthday...?

is in 2 days! Its on wednesday, and i know she'd been hinting about a new wedding ring so i let onto my dad, and im gonna try and make him get an appointment thing, so he can take her to get a new wedding ring. Even though it was my idea, its not really a present from me. Mum doesn't really get on with birthdays, last year she said not to get anything because we were short on money and i felt so bad. This year i want to get her something nice, she wants perfume but omg how bad is this, my mum buys her own gifts cause she knows exactly what she wants. So she always says 'no dont get me anything i've already got my presents'. This year i was thinking of making a gift basket with a few nice things in. She doesnt want bubble bath and typical mum stuff, so im stumped! ): ):

put her favorite snacks in the gift basket or some goodies like that a build a bear? accesories? makeup? just get a bunch of random stuff from target thats what i do

My grandmothers birthday is coming up, any suggestions?

My grandmother has done everything for me and I love her more than words. But, I recently moved to Florida and she lives back home in Iowa, so I want to send her her birthday gift via mail. She loves everything vanilla, and I wanted to make a little gift basket filled with vanilla things for her. I was thinking... Vanilla Candles Vanilla perfume Vanilla cookies... what else? Or any other ideas? She is a strong Christian woman, she doesnt really cook much, she loves eating out, staying busy, working in her garden, working on crafts, and right now she and Grandpa are completely remodeling their entire house. Thanks everyone!!
--------------------
i would add the vanilla candles, perfume, cookies, then maybe put lotions, body wash, maybe an air freshener for the car, and her fav. candy. Place all that into a basket and make it look pretty. Idk if that helped any but i hope. That'sinda what i did for my mom for christmas last year.

Birthday present for boyfriend's best friend?

My boyfriend's best friend is having a party in a couple weeks. I know he already likes me, but I want to get in good with him because I know he's a great person, and I respect him a lot. He already graduated from college, doesn't really like sports, and is a pretty tough movie critic... I was thinking about making a cool gift basket (I rock at these thigns!) and putting stuff in it like a bottle of nice vodka (grey goose) a gift card to a movie theatre by his house, and maybe some other random small things, like homemade choc chip cookies. MEN OUT THERE!! any ideas or suggestions? This guy's a big health guru so I might skip the cookies, I only hangout out with him maybe once or twice a month so I don't know him extremely well. My boyfriend has made it clear though that if we get married, this guy would be his best man! 10 pts best answer!

Maybe add an itunes card to the basket and maybe you should make the cookies out of like fruits and stuff!

What should I get my boyfriend's parents for christmas?

I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years and I want to get his family something for christmas. He has one brother and his parents are together. So far I have a bottle of wine and a reed scent diffuser. I was thinking I would put a gift basket together for them with some home made cookies. Any ideas what else I could put in the basket? Also what should I get his brother? He is 20 and lives at home. Also I dont have much money.
--------------------
Well the home made cookies in a basket sounds like a really good idea. You could also make each peron a Christmas card. Maybe just get them some Christmas biscuits or something small, I bet his parents would like that. And for his brother, maybe just get him something small, like a book if he likes to read or a movie or something. Hope I helped Merry Christmas

I'm trying to sooth the situation in a church that I got kicked out of...?

This week I e-mailed 7 people out of the 20 who go to house church and none of them would give me the house church schedule... I e-mailed a guy I really liked and care about and told him I was no longer going to that church because nobody wanted me there and that I sitll wanted to be friends with him after I left the church and he didn't even bother to reply. And today... one of the elders (who was given instructions to exclude me from bible studies) e-mailed me the contact details for our next bible study but would not e-mail me the full schedule and addresss for this month (which they were instructed not to give me) So I thought... to make up for everyone hating me... I could buy everybody a 20 dollar gift certificate to red lobsters... and maybe give the pastor a gift basket with lots of different things in it (since his mother died this week) I was also thinking I could give a 300 dollar tithe when I go to church this week and personally hand it to the pastor so that he knows exactly how much money I give... I do not want to get kicked out of this church... and there is only one person there who has many any effort at all... to keep me in the church now that I've been "kicked out" by the pastor... I feel so betrayed by that guy that I liked that he wants nothing to do with me and feel foolish for ever thinking he could like me or want anything to do with me...
--------------------
You haven't been kicked out of God's Church. You were kicked out of a group of people. You didn't tell us WHY you were kicked out. I was kicked out of a church a few years ago. I was told there were people there who were "uncomfortable" with me being there. I was the only white person there. And they call themselves Christians?

Parents, what is the item that was most useful to you with a new baby?

A friend of ours had a baby girl yesterday, we will probably go see her today or tomorrow. I thought that I would take a little gift basket to her, which already has a blanket, sheet, some "lively links" and a couple toys that make noise when you squeeze them. I know she probably won't care about the noise makers for a while, but they were cute. There is a little room left in the basket, and there is also a shower planned for sometime in the near future. So... as a new parent, what is the one thing that you were most grateful to have?
--------------------
I did foster care and never had newborns, but was a new parent many times.. Here are a few suggestions she might like. Diapers/wipes and such. Or a gift card to like Target Amazon or toys r us so she can get something she needs.. (stuff I am still happy to get with my 5 boys!!!) If she reads, some good books so she will take some ME time instead of all Baby time which will wear her our even more!! For her some bubble bath salts to relax with while her hubby watches the baby for a little while. I got these for a good friend of mine and her husband, my old fishing buddy, called me a few weeks later and wanted to know where to get more, as that was a perfect thing to help his wife unwind and be more human as he put it. And extra memory card for their digital camera, as they will take a TON of pictures now!!! And maybe a book on how to take better pictures so more of them will look better and be in focus... :) Now some funny ideas that are very helpful and she will get a laugh out of hearing about and later realize how right they were... A roll of duct tape.. It has a LOT of uses... Including keeping kids in 1 place and better behaved. At least threating them with it helps too. A good stiff shot of brandy to help her sleep when she needs it!!! Ear Plugs.... sleeping pills to get sleep, or maybe that will help the kids sleep better... You think it but would never give it to them.... headphones, to listen to the music and not hear the kids arguing and shouting!!! Flyers for summer camps and boarding schools...... Hope all is well and that they enjoy the new addition to the family!!!

What should i get my bf's parents for xmas?

Ive been with my bf for 3 years. The first year i threw together for his family a gift basket with almost everything in it. Last year i got his mom and dad individual cups with hot chocolate mix and cookies and then a 30 dollar gift certificate to a restaurant. But i'm not sure what to get them this year? His mom likes photos, crafts, reading etc, and his dad really likes cars (i dont really want to get him car models or ne thing), ne ideas?
--------------------
Mom...a GC to a craft store? Or a photographic keepsake box like this: http://www.cafepress.com/photographz.333… and put something inside? Dad..Hm, how about something from here: http://www.cafepress.com/gear4gearheads

Guys: What do you mean when you call a girl "sweet"?

Someone I've had a lot of phone/online communication with is about to become a dad, so I pulled a gift basket together. Nothing major, but I'm good at that sort of thing. I wanted to get it to him before Father's Day, but our group's split between four different locations and I'm not scheduled to trek out there till July, after the baby's due date. Anyway, I ask this guy at my location if he can drop it off since he'll be up there soon. He agrees -- he always agrees when I ask him a favor. Since I figured he would, I got him a very small thank you gift also, wrapped it nicely, etc. Again, nothing major, but something I knew he'd like and use over the summer. He stares at it, smiles brightly enough to light up the room, then looks down, shuffling his feet like a little kid. "You didn't have to do that." he says, then takes a long time to take it from my hand, touching my hand in the process. He smiles again, more shyly this time, and says, "Aww, that's so sweet! Thank you." then carries it around with him up and down the hall while chatting it up with me in a really animated way, which is unusual since he's usually more quiet/reserved. What just happened? That touch was...incredible, but what might he mean by "sweet"? (I thought "sweet" was reserved for something a child does, but it doesn't seem to fit the context here.)
--------------------
He thought your "thank you gift" was very unexpected and thoughtful of you. Sweet isn't only reserved for young children, and when a man says that to a woman, especially acting the way you say he did, it usually indicates that there is an attraction towards you. He just seems to be shy about it. Do you like him more than a friend? Are you attracted to him at all? He seems cute, but thats ultimately up for your to decide. You gave me great advice when I needed it, so I can only assume that you have a level head and a good sense of self. All in all, its a nice word to use when anyone makes a nice gesture, and it is pretty benign.

Im dying to know!!! 10 PT for answer!!!?

I was at this baby store and this lady in a nice business suit was shopping for someones baby shower in the same aisle as I.. She asked what would be a nice gift for someone ahe didnt really know that well and i pointed to this cute Johnson&Johnson's Gift basket that was filled with J&J bathwash, lotion, baby oil, baby powder and etc. She gave me this horrified look and said she worked for Johnson&Johnson and that there isn o way she would ever buy their products. Ans i laughed and asked why and i think she said somethin like if only u knew what is used or how its made or something like that. I asked her to tell me and she was adamant on refusing to tell me. She just kept shaking her head and sayin "I can't." Has anyone heard or read anything about Johnson&Johnson products???? Im dying to know!
--------------------
several of theiir products were recalled last yr and allegedly theres an ingredient found in their products that is associated with cancer. Also Tylenol which is also J&J had several products that were recalled and caused some vomiting, dixxiness, diahrea, etc.

Girls please read this LOVE LETTER I am about to send and give me feedback !?

This is for a girl I met in law class...I sat a really nice imression on her..she wanted to hang out with me..I also told her I like her she said she would still likes to hang out with me.... I by mistake made a song and posted on you tube and asked her about date. She talked with me everyday...but she just stopped all of the sudden. Then I hunted her class..gave her a note and asked her out..she said to call her for a rain check...next I gave her a gift basket..she told me I am a gr8 guy but she just came out of a 3 yrs relationship... So, all the time I asked her if she a bf.she didn't say a thing..after all this she told me..then I sent her nother gift and she said she loved it and is willing to hang out anytime as friends...then I talked with her on gmail..she was very interested..and then no replies for 12 days..i sent her emails and none..and then I said I am sorry she said she is not mad at me..she just cant get over her ex..and is in bad mood...!! So, technically I dont know her new address..., her phone number changed...all I have is e-mail..and she ignored me becoz I said something to her...and she knows I apologizes immediatley to her and have been sending her funny emails to make her smile..I don't know..this is what I want to send her and I really feel it this way : There I go...I LOVE YOU JENNIFER...I LOVE YOU...Couldn't you ever see how much I love you ? You are the FIRST girl in my ENTIRE life I EVER I said these three words to -- when I know I mean it every single word and I will get "stay away from me " from you ! I just never thought the girl I would love so much I would say these words via E-MAIL. NEVER. This is the last resort. WHEN I fell in love with you I didn't know you had a boyfriend. I didn't know you were single...I just was crazy about you...!!! I KNOW I am not good looking at all; who could possibly get a beautiful looking with a sweet heart girl like you. I know I can't get you....I know you don't like me...I know .....but I can't help it....It is just a different feeling Jennifer. I feel like loving you just for the sake of loving you. I don't want anything in return. REALLY. I want to have my first kiss in my life with you, yes at the age of 22; to marry you and have kids with you ! Only problem is that I don't know if they would be white or brown because of my Indian skin color ! :( I wanna come home from office - I wanna kiss you- I want to make you food everyday - I don't want any Television, I just want to sit down and watch you talk; I want both of us to teach our kids how to walk; make them happy; I want to get up every morning and want to see your face first thing in the morning I want to grow old with you and NEVER leave your hand even in the bad phase of your life. I always want to walk besides you to provide you my shoulder; wrap you in my arms when it is cold. If we ever fight, I will DO anything to make things right. I don't want to look at any other girl in this world...because I know I am only safe in your hands...and most important I wanna Die with you....!!! I LOVE YOU JENNIFER....I LOVE YOU...
--------------------
Your love letter is very good. Any girl would love it. But there is a problem... she is in love with somebody else (since 3 years ago). What would you do if RIGHT NOW, another girl tells you all that? You are in love with J. and you will do......WHAT?! She talked to you like a friend. And now she does not really know what to do. She's hurt, she is in love with that guy, she doesn't want to hurt you. Do you really want to be with somebody that is in love with somebody else? They could get back together...after 3 years of relationship... And there is another possibility. A sadder one. She lied that she was in a relationship because she does not like you and she doesn't want to hurt you. Anyway, if you decide to send this letter I wish you luck!!!

Will he feel out done?

I told my boyfriend that I'd like to take him out on Saturday (before Valentine's day). He seemed surprised, but excited. We've been together for 3 months and I want to do something special for him and show how much he's appreciated. He's not the best at planning things and that's where I excel. Here's what I have planned: • Once he comes home from work, I will greet him with a Victoria's Secret gift card with a note that says "You Pick!" • We will head to the mall so he can pick something out for later that night. • Next we'll have dinner at a cozy fondue restaurant. • We will finish the evening at a 4 star hotel (I've already booked the room) where I will have a pleasure inspired gift basket waiting (robes, candles, bath stuff, etc.). Will he feel outdone?
--------------------
Hopefully not. And if he does feel out done, then he may not be mature enough for a classy lady like you. It sounds like a very romantic evening. Good luck. Have fun.

How to say thank you?

Banana Bread or Cupcakes maybe ? Write a thank you note to everyone. How sweet of them !!! Congratulations. Peace.

I don't remember the site and I have no clue what it's suppose to say.. Anybody know what I'm talking about please help!!! Or if you have another phrase like this please let me know!

--------------------
First let me say Congratulations! You've a bundle of joy on the way. You could buy those little Thank You cards that come in a pack (so you don't have space to write too much!) and say thank you for their sweetness, kindness and thoughtfulness, and how much you and your husband appreciate that. As to the treat, it depends on your budget and whether you intend to throw a little party when the baby is one month old (some people do that). Maybe order some cupcakes with the baby's name on each? Champagne? Like I said, it depends on the budget. If you want rhymy-dimey stuff for the card, click here and take your pick: http://www.123greetings.com/thank_you/

How do I make play-dough?

She loves play dough, and I would love to include that as well. I know it can be made at home, so would you please give me step by step instructions on how to do so? Thanks! And if you have ideas as to anything else I can add to her gift basket (that can be handmade), feel free to let me know! :) THANK YOU

I have no idea what to get my bf for Valentines day..help?

So I have been going out with my boyfriend for almost 6 months and i have no idea what to do for him for valentines day. I dont want to just get an ordinary gift cause hes very hard to shop for (i found out christmas shopping) so im looking for something thoughtful and unique. maybe some sort of gift basket with candy, cookies, pictures of us and whatever else in it. Any ideas?
--------------------
Hi, It's really refreshing to come onto Yahoo answers and find that somebody who's being going out with their partner for more than 2 weeks. Very good. I've been going out with my girlfriend for about 11 months now, and I really wouldn't mind getting not getting anything for Valentines day, it's really not a big deal for me. We're just going to an Indian restaurant and having a nice meal, but if she was to get me anything, a bit of chocolate or a little alcohol would be a good gift. But I don't want anything, I'd rather us just go for a nice meal and that's a nice night for us. I guess for a rather long answer this hasn't really answered your question, Just get the normal like, aftershave or...yeah what you said is good, a gift basket of 'candy' or a nice T-shirt or something. Erm, I'm sorry I've not been any help haha, just personal opinion. A video game =D, Brownies...yes!

Do you think I should do this to prevent my pastor from kicking me out of church?

This sounds like half a story. If you're being ostracized, what's your part in it? Did you do or say something that offended those people? You can't buy their esteem. Repent, ask Jesus to forgive you, and move on.

How do I find legit wholesalers to start my business?

I am interested in starting a Gift Basket business. I need to find a wholesaler who offers a large selection of gift ware and other such products. All of the sites I find require membership fees just to get a list of wholesalers. (I think those are scams). And the others require you to sign up by offering up your business info before they will let you see prices ect. I don't have any business info yet as I am just in the process of doing research. I can't do research if they won't even let me see the prices! How do companies like Party Packagers find their suppliers?
--------------------
Find the phone numbers of the companies you want to do business with and ask if you can get prices. The Party Packagers probably set up the business first and then got in touch with suppliers or they had connections, or they had a related business and already knew pricing. For you, I would say that no matter what the prices are you can always make money if you market to the right people with the right angle. Then you can set the price you want and make the money you want.

So I have been dating this guy, and he just lost his father....?

I was unable to attend the viewing and funeral because of work and then I had class. So I had a candy gift basket and card delievered to him. I know he is going through a really hard time right now, but I haven't heard from him in 2 days? He told me thanks and everything for the basket, and told me that he could always use to company to come by anytime. So I texted him this afternoon to see if he would be home and he never responded?? I want to give him his space, but I also want him to know that I am here for him (like I have told him 20 times) but I don't want to be smothering at ALL. So what do ya'll think I should do??Wait for him to call or just back off??
--------------------
I'm really sorry to hear that. That is very life changing, and he may need a lot of space.. but stick it out and when he needs you he will let you know. Continue to assure him you are always there for him and support him whenever he asks. He should gradually start to make contact with you as time goes by so be patient.. and keep texting/calling him daily (just don't do it more than 2xs).. always stay positive and just kinda brighten up his day.. best wishes.

present for a maths tutor?

My maths and chemistry tutor is a family friend. He's tutored me in maths for 4 years and chem for 1 year, and has been doing it for free. If I'd been paying it would've cost just over $10,000. I've finished school now and want to get him a present, but I can't think of anything. The cost doesn't bother me as long as it's not 'cheap.' Also I'd like it to be something more than a bottle of nice wine or a food/chocolate gift basket. He also gets alot of pens and ties form people, so I will stay clear of them. Anyone have an ideas for a gift? thank you!

Pie! Haha get it. Thought of that myself

and me and my friends are making a gift basket for her. Any ideas on what to include?
--------------------
Maybe things that her mother would have given her, you know like protective things, good advise, (you could each write a note and put it in the basket)...she could read them when she is alone, they will remind her she isn't..... home made cookies, some little stuffed animal to remind her of all of you, pictures of her with you, or just of you guys, it doesn't have to cost alot, jsut reminders that she still has you all and your thoughts are with her.....maybe some inspirational book on how life goes on, tough one, but it sounds like she has some great friends, I think your words will mean the most to her. good luck.

Baby Mama Drama!! What do I do?

My husband has a 4 yr old back home in florida that his baby momma just approached him with three months ago. He claims he knew there was a chance he could have gotten her preg, but they broke up a month after they had sex. So he never knew of a baby. When she called him and said they had a 4 yr old son, I was excited becuz I have had a hard itme having kids, and i LOVE children. Off top she was going off on him about seeing his son. So b4 his trip there I bought the kids sum cool stuff and made like a big a5s gift basket. At the last minute he asked me to tag along. So i did, we got htere and i got a hotel room, and rented a car. I never disrespected her by showing my face. He decided to bring Jr back to memphis with us for a month. We have been home two weeks with the lil guy. Ive taught him to call me by my first name, even tho i am his step mom. She calls OUR house daliy cursing me out. Sayin don't touch her son, dont feed him I may try to poisen him becuz Im jealous that she has >
--------------------
I commend you on being yourself and remaining professional. When she starts going off, don't pay her any attention. If it makes you upset, just pull the phone away from your ear. Sadly, you can't change her ghetto behavior. So remain the classy lady you are. Have you asked her why is she so upset with you? Suggest to your husband to not go off on her. Just tell him, to take the phone from his ear and let her act like a fool. She is probably jealous of you because of the way you handle yourself and you are married to her child's father. Children are smart and I am pretty sure, your son would rather be with you all instead of her because no telling what she is saying to him. Keep loving the child and being a positive influence in his life. Believe me when she starts talking a lot of crazy talk the child about you all, he (the child) will see that she is lying and she will lose out. Continue to be strong and professional. She will eventually get tired and may see how foolish she act and look.Whatever you do, don't stoop down to her level though I realize it's hard not curse her out.
