I have a great one for you. This may be just a little complicated, but if you follow me, as I hope your teacher will, this will be good. There was a riot for bread in Paris during this period, and a young Napoleon was put in charge of a artillery battery that was to stop the riot. He ordered his men to fire on the crowd. You can take the famous Marie Antoinette quote: "let them eat cake" (which she said when she was queen and the people in Paris were starving) and use that with this. Napoleon could say: "They want food? Let them eat lead."

what do you need to take care of a pet duck?
ok se im getting 6 baby chicks i need to know... 1 what do you feed them from birth to adult hood 2 to live in the back yard do we need their wings clipped 3 will they stay in winter? 4 if you get them young will they handle kids like be nice 5 how do doggies react i have a great dane 6 is a kiddie pool enought 7 treats like fruit and stuff 8 other requirements not answerer thank you guys an gals lol oh additional are they good easter gifts can you put them in an easter basket also forgot how do you take care of them as babies because i dont want dead chicks in my house or back yard

Their pen should be cleaned regularly and their water refilled daily. The pen should be covered so they cannot get out and nothing (including sneaky cats) can get in. An inexpensive and functional pen can be constructed from simply standing T-posts in a medium-sized circle, securely fastening chicken wire around the T-posts, and then lining the edges with bricks so they cannot crawl out from under it. This works best if the bottom of the pen is dirt. Mesh should be fastened across the top of the pen so no cats -- or any other animal for that matter -- can get in or out. If you own the mother, put her in the pen with the ducklings. Remove the mesh for a short period in the daytime so she can fly out and go outside the pen, then if she wants to, let her back in and fasten the mesh again. When you feel comfortable releasing your ducklings to the pond, usher them to it to play. In the late afternoon, before evening strikes, usher them back to their pen. A heaven for ducks. At this stage, they are not yet ready to be fully released where they will face dangers of predators. Do not release them one at a time but rather as a group. The ducks will soon learn to come to the barn/pen to be fed good-quality duck food once a day, especially if you have other ducks who follow the routine. At first, feed the ducks whenever they come up to be fed, but after they have a firm grasp on the fact that pen=food, you should only feed them on a developed routine of one feeding per day. If your ducks are still hungry after they have eaten it all, give them slightly larger portions. If they are not finishing all their food, feed slightly less. Have routine home check-ups. If you think there is a problem, you can gently hold the base of the neck with one hand and the body with the other to get a better view. Try to keep the duck calm. If there's a CPI why isn't there a Consumer Demand Index to tell us how easy it is to sell things?
Since about 15 September 2008 the world has experienced a total collapse of aggregate demand. Economists know about aggregate demand and try to quantify it. But why not make it consumer/retailer friendly and create a Consumer Demand Index which shows how strong consumer demand is for a market basket of things consumers ordinarily buy, including gifts, craft items, clothes, greeting cards, shoes, and shinola. CDI would measure what we most need to know right now. It would be invaluable to business large and small alike, and to financial services firms, and the realty planners. Why not? Too hard, for coneheads to think of, who can't even park a bicycle straight -- don't get me started -- and what are YOU looking at? You Looking at ME?

Gifts for bridal party, and other special people?
My two younger brothers (10 and 14) are in my September wedding. My fiance and I don't want to give them some silly trinket that they won't use, and arn't at the age for. I know that they really want an XBOX 360 though, would that be appropriate? For my flower girl, I wanted to get her jewelry, (pearl earings and pearl bracelet) but also wanted to put together a girly lil basket thing with toys that she would like, is that ok? For my maid of honour and bridesmaids, I'm stuck. I wanted to get their jewelry, but I would also like to get them something else. I've already given them engraved things with their names for birthdays etc, so that's not gonna work. Also, my aunt is making my flower girl dress, it's absolutely gorgeous btw, :P ... I'd like to get her something special, jewelry is out of the question though, she's got tons, more expensive than I could ever buy her anyways. Just something sweet, something to say thank you. Any ideas would be terrific. Thanks!! :)

Would you feel hurt if everyone brought you gifts and cards when you were in the hospital but your BF?
I recently was hospitalised for E.Coli, I had to be cathed and put on an IV to recieve fluids. I wasn't hospitalised long but when I got out and was laid to bed rest friends and family brought me balloons, gifts, get well cards etc. It isn't that it's necessary to recieve those things- just seeing how they all went out of their way to make me feel special (and it really did!) made me feel awful that my bf hadn't done anything remotely like that. I know it wasn't an issue of money. I know that he loves me, he told me he loves me very much and is glad that I'm okay. But why do I feel so badly that he didn't try to do something to make me feel special too? The last time I was ill- it wasn't serious like E.coli- and he surprised me with balloons and a get well basket. I don't know if I'm being superficial and stupid or what...I just can't shake the feeling.

I would really recommend clannad after story, as it continues the relationship between tomoya and nagisa (and if you didn't watch it because you heard it's sad, just watch to the end b/c it is one of the happiest and best endings to any story ever, and i love happy endings); but also kanon, which is made by the same people and is exceptional!

Why is it so hard and complicated?
I have been single for my whole life(Im 19) and girls tell me I'm such a great guy and wonder why the hell I'm single. I have tried and tried but I just cant get a girlfriend. I like this girl, she is 22 and I'm 19. We get on so well, we text quite often and I sent her an annoynomus gift to her house for Christmas that had a lot of meaning to it. She was really happy and text me right away when she figured it out. I asked her out to drinks sometime and she said yes. I asked about a certain date but she said she would need to let me know. Me being so used to rejection I take this as a bad thing. Anyway, my best friend is going out with one of her close friends. I asked him if the girl I like had mentioned anything to her friend. He said she hadnt really talked to her yet but the last she knew that the girl I liked wasnt looking for a boyfriend. He also said that her suggestion was that I dont put all my eggs in one basket with this girl. He told me this tonight and Im actually at the point where I dont care anymore. I like this girl and we get along, Im not even going to get nervous about it as a date. I know nothing is going to happen because it would be too much to ask for something good like that to happen to me so Im just going to go and have a good time with her. Why does it always have to be some **** or something when I come along. Why cant it be easy? What should I do in this situation?

Well there is lots and most of these are completely different so if you don't like them watch another on the list: School days School days is about a boy who has a crush on a girl called Kotonoha who goes to school and rides the same train as him, even though he has never talked to her before. He meets a girl called Sekai, and she finds out that he likes Kotonoha, and offers to help him out, although she has feelings for him. This anime Is personally one of my favorite, and the ending of the series is a real shocker!! very good anime! H20 ~footprints in the sand~ H20 ~footprints in the sand~ is about a blind boy called Takuma who moves to a town where his uncle lives because (spoiler - ha ha just a little bit of a spoiler) his mother commited suicide. he makes friends with a lot of new people, especially two girls, one named Kohinata (A girl who almost everybody hates, because of what her parents did when she was little) and another named Kagura (a very popular girl - only popular because of somthing her father did when she was little - i wont say what, it will ruin the story!). This is another on my favorite list of animes, not too many people like it, but if you dont hate it, you LOVE it. Again, another shocker for an ending. this story get quite complicated towards the end, and even i didnt understand the last episode but i eventually understood. very good anime! Vampire knight Vampire knight is about a girl called Yuki. She almost died when she was 5 because a vampire tried to kill her. fortulantley, A good vampire was there to save her, Kaname. She goes to a school with humans in the daytime and (good) vampires at knight, although only 2 pupils know that they are vampires. Yuki finds herself falling in love with Kaname, but her very good friend - Zero (the other person that knows about vampires) - is having his own problems and getting her involved. This is another great anime, with two series (proves how popular it is ha ha)! The ending is not a huge shocker (well its unexpected, but not like the other animes i have mentioned). Very good anime! Phantom ~requiem for the phantom~ This anime is about a boy - you dont know his real name untill the middle of the series, but for the first half of the series everybody calles him Zwei - who is forced into becoming an assasin. He was at a scene of a crime, one commited by the assain he would be working with. the company she works for thought he might have pottential as an assasin, so they hypnotised him so he couldnt remember anything from the past. This anime is my FAVORITE anime. It may seem like it has no Romance, but there is quite a lot. By the way, if you are a kid, or You arent very good at understanding things very quickly, don't watch this anime. No kids because there is a LOT of violence and it is very complicated, although is an amazing anime.

My short fantasy story, please read all!?
Suggestions? Comments (hate or praise)? what age am I writing this at? Would it make a good LONG story? Sniff Whenever I saw my papa he was trotting at the heels of that strange human. "Who was this strange human?" I wondered. "Why was he always taking my papa in the bad place?" "Papa's a big dog now, Sniff. He can take care of himself," Mama said. "Millie and me can take care of ourselves, too!" "Millie and I," corrected Mama. I furrowed my eyebrows, trying to look menacing, a smirk grew on Mama's face. "I'm back, Gem!" barked a voice from the bad place. Papa always called Mama Gem. "Papa!" yelled my sister Millie. I don't know why, but Mama had a weird look on her face. Millie "Papa?" I asked him. "Yes?" he said through a mouthful of meat. "What's the bad place like?" the words jumbled out my mouth. He looked at me with a gaze that could melt the ice on Lake Blue. I felt very small as the rest of the barnyard animals looked down at me. "Tell your daughter to shut her mouth. She never does anything right," the cow mooed. The cow's bellow angered my mother, and my mother's anger is notable. "JUST BECAUSE YOU THINK YOUR DAUGHTER IS ARTEMIS' GIFT TO THE WORLD DOESNT MEAN YOU CAN JUDGE MINE, BESSIE!" She barked. Bessie shut up. Sniff I smiled at my sister. She had said the perfect thing. "Maybe it's time for us to go to the house now." Papa whined. She was crazy, but she had good plans sometimes. Millie I had it all figured out by the time Mama called us to the barn to eat. "So Darlin' is gunna tell Mama she wants her to go hunting with her, then when she gets back Kip is gunna tell her we went missing!" I mumbled to Sniff. "Woah woah woah Millie!" he stopped me. "Whos Darlin? Whos Kip? Won't the humans notice we gone? That Mama's gone?" he questioned my plan. "You know nothing about this town! See Darlin is the old Welsh Terrier down near the sheriff's house, and Kip is the cat that lives on the farm!" I yelled. Everyone in the barn looked at me. "She was explaining to me everyone in town." Sniff saved me. "It's the loss of her father... she's taking it hard. Personally I think he just got tired of Gem!" Whispered one horse to the other. Mama glared at her, but said nothing. Sometimes other animals underestimated our sense of hearing. I was just about done with my food when I saw a small orange cat slip out the door, Kip. "Cover for me Smell, Cider's found the rusty bumper and she's going in!" I muttered to Sniff. "What are you talking about Millie? Have you gone crazy like Old Goosey?" We both looked at Old Goosey, muttering to herself about her lost golden egg. "No, and she ain't crazy! She's uh...." I looked at her, "confused..."

I have seen spirits a few times but not very much. does this mean I'm intuitive?
on my moms side of the family theya re from the island of guam. my grandmother believes that her mother was some kind of witch.? and her father could heal people. she said if I ever wished something too hard it could happen.. anyways. My mom has seen spirits. In hospitals, apartment buildings.. and other things. She has seen my little brothers spirit come to her before he was born. he looked how he did at about age 3. I always found it all interesting. but i put all the past things that I have seen together and now Im wondering if I too may have some sort of gift I am unaware of.. When we were driving in the desert visiting relatives as we were leaving town I saw two women wearing hats just walking down the highway one was pushing a stroller... I saw them up close just pass by my window.. when I saw this I was like. What.? Why are they walking in the heat.. and I looked back and no one was walking down the road. I explained to my mom and she said they were probably spirits.. so i wondered if i can only see them sometimes..? and if so why.? i was also in my house and we had plastic mats all around the house because my mom was worried we would ruin the new carpet.lol so in the middle of the night i went to the restroom and i heard someone running around up and down the hallway. It was late. when I opened the door and checked, nothing was there. at my grandmothers house i was sleeping over and woke up to see some islander.. he could have been my grandmothers brother. he looked like him. and he was just looking at my face. watching me sleep. Like he was sitting on a chair in front of me just watching. I kept my eyes wide open but when i gasped and backed up he was gone.. so i ran out the room. I wasnt scared I was just confused. That week I was sleeping in the room and the television wasnt hooked up but it set itself to turn on or "wake up" at about 9;00am. I would hear the static and pop up and run out terrified. thats when we figured out someone had set it. but no one did.. and now like a few weeks ago i was in my current room and I was falling asleep when I heard something sound like it hit a plastic bad in my room or something. like a trash bag. i opened my eyes and looked in the dark but nothing was there. then i heard breathing hard breathing so i sat in the dark and kept hearing it. then i ran out.. my mom then told me that she has been sensing this little girl hanging around her but mostly me. and i dont know why.. please do you think I may have some kind of ability.? is there a way I can make it stronger to figure things out.? or is this just a once in a while thing.? please help thankyou! also..my uncle was at my cousins house and he healed her ankle she hurt from playing basket ball.

Was anyone else in the dog house for Valentine's?
Right now,times are tight and money is low,but I was able to buy my wife a Valentine's gift. Now,tell me,would any of you ladies be satisfied with this? I bought her a half-dozen pink roses, a pink medium sized bear,some candy,and a card. I also took her to the movies and cooked for her. I got some candy in a small basket. Roommate moved out with unresolved damages/bills?
I moved into my apartment and got the lease in my name, and paid the $900 security deposit. I got a new roommate with landlords approval who paid me $450 for a security deposit. No lease was ever signed for her. She has moved out and did not help clean any common areas and left literally 12 containers of moldy food in the refrigerator along with food in the freezer. Also, during the time she lived her, she got a cat who caused considerable damage to my $300 couch, $100 bookshelves, $100 coffee table and destroyed a wicker basket along with a new $20 shower curtain. Her cat also knocked over my jewelery box and scattered my jewelery everywhere and ended up losing one of my diamond earrings, the last gift I ever received from my grandmother before passing away. She also left without covering her share of the June and July bills which totals about $140. How much can I subtract from the her security deposit for all of this?

Diaper storage solutions?
I'm 34 weeks pregnant with #1 and I recently had my baby shower where I received 2 "diaper cakes" (diapers are rolled up and fashioned to look like a 3-tier cake). Previous to this, I hadn't thought about diapers or storage (haha, I know) but now I want to disassemble these gifts and store the diapers. I don't really want to just stack them because they'll just fall over and I don't have the bags they came in to shove them into. What do you use in your nursery for diaper storage? My mom wants me to get some wicker baskets for them and I've also seen those hanging diaper bags but I'm not in love with either of these ideas. Do you have a great organizational tool you can recommend? I'd like it to be something that is easily accessible but looks nice too. Thanks in advance for your ideas!

can someone help me narrow down my schedule?
i have problems with descions and am doing many after school activites. i want to pick a few to continue for as long as possible and get really good at. im 14 and finishing up 8th grade. i play bass guitar and take lessons, i really like it and would hate to give it up. i think its a cool thing for a girl to do also. but i have small hands. ive been doing flamenco for the last year, am getting the hang of it, but have a very unorganized teacher. im not sure if its worth the time or effort. i do all the plays and musicals at my school, for im a very good actress and singer, but idk if thats too time consuming and competitive. i take random acting classes at a local museum, but again, time-consuming, and stressful to memorize lines. ive played the flute since 5th grade and take very good lessons. i plan to play for the rest of my life, so i hope to not be forced to drop this. i am hoping to make a minor career out of modeling, because i was pciked out to meet the VP of chicago elite last sumer, and have grown since then. i however have to be careful to be skinny and tall enough. am i chasing a dream? i sing for a very unorganized rock band in my neighborhood and its not very time consuming. i dont think its necessary to drop this. i used to take voice lessons, but idk if thats not worth it. im not an amazing soprano- more like an alto but with a really pretty voice if i practice. im on the xc tema at school and run a lot. this corresponds with my modeling idea, because it helps me stay inshape. and i lvoe it. im not very fast though. im dropping basket ball i believe, which ive played since around 3rd grade. my mom is encouraging me to join the swim team at school like my brother, which also is great excerise. half the practices are in the mroning so its less time consuming. my dad wants me to play golf and work on getting a scholarship because of it, andi have a very good knack for the game, as a beginner. it, however, is a crazyy time-cnsuming sport and joing the team at school (which id do next spring) would also take some time. i dont know if its worth playing a less-excerciseful sport but i think its cool to know how to do something i can do forever. i am very interested in journalism, creative writing, and poetry (and song writing). i rock at that stuff and am an excellent public speaker (comes into play in acting also- should i stick with natural talents?) i love art, and always have been. im really one of the fine arts with my painting and sketching, instrument playing, singing, writing, and acting. but anyways, i have a gift with art but i dont know how to practice and become better fi i choose to. private lessons? owrkshops? i dont know! but thats way too much stuff! you see? i want to not do a ton of things and be ok at them, i want a few things that ill shine out in. i know im especially good at a few things but i cant narrow things down. pleeeeease help me
