Baby Dust wedding Gift???
here is my dilemma! my best friend is getting married in september and her and her new husband want to start trying for baby no.1 straight away, she expressed to me that she wanted something for baby as a wedding present... so my question is... Basically, i want to put together a gift basket of goodies for her and her new hubby to give them good luck with trying to conceive, i'm looking for someting really special, not just ovulation tests and baby clothes etc. can anyone help?
--------------------
I would recommend giving them some important things like -preseed -pregnancy tests (i recommend first response early response so they dont have to wait so long to test) -print out a card with fertilityfriend.com and include a basal thremometer so they can know when they are ovulating do something cute to add to the basket liek a few small diapers and non gender specific clothes, as well as a small bottle of glitter with a custom "baby dust" sticker. this will add originality to your basket! Good Luck, hope I was able to help!

What is a good idea for a Halloween gift basket??
I love to make my daughter's daycare teachers baskets. What is a good idea for Halloween?

Rather than use baskets you could use small plastic witches caldrons or plastic jackolantern trick or treat carriers to put the items in. Shrink rap is a nice touch to any basket, I think it give it a professional look. Finish it off with pretty black and gold, black and orange or black and purple ribbon. Check these out, maybe they will give you inspiration. :) http://images.google.com/images?ndsp=18&

What are popular nail polish colors for teens? Please give me your prreferences and ages.?
I hope to hear from young girls and teens, or their moms for this question. Do teens like the traditional reds and pinks, or do you prefer shades like greens and blues? Do you like polish for your toenails, too? I'm putting together a gift basket, and I need your input. Thanks in advance.

I'm 14 and I love using the make yourself a french manicure kit things...they're about $4, but they come with a lot of strips that you use to make a perfect manicure...I also love using Hot pink. For toe nails, I use hot pink mostly...i don't use much red. For younger kids, i remember I used blue almost all the time...that and very light pink. Also, there are little decals you can buy to put on your nails like flowers and stars...etc... hope i helped ya! ciao for now, tara =D

which x-mas gift sounds better for my boyfriend mom?
I've been with my boyfriend for 4 months. I see his mom at least a couple times a week and i know a few things about her. she is very religous (christian-lutheran), she loves tea, she doesn't cook a lot and she doesn't use many fancy lotions, bath products but i think it might be because of economical reasons. last year her sons got her a spa certificate for manicure/pedicure and it took her 6-7 months to use it (right before it expired). which one do you prefer? 1. tea set 2.gift basket with a whole banch of different treats like chocolates, tea, a nice lotion, crosswords, lip balm, a nice tree ornament and mabe a book? Also, if you have any other ideas feel free to suggest. I have a tight buget but i'm willing to pay if it is a good idea. thank you in advance :)

I'd get the second one. (: Sounds lovely!

"Free Night of Baby Sitting" Coupons, cute gift idea?
A couple of my friends are having babies in a few months and along with the gift basket I am putting together for them, I was thinking about making a couple coupons for each basket for a free night of baby sitting since the girls are 19 and can't always depend on their parents. Is this a good idea to help them out? I am very responsible with kids and have tons of little cousins (I am one of the oldest out of all my cousins, and theres a lot, lol) and I used to baby sit the kids in the neighbor hood all the time. Let me know what you think....thanks!

I would be THRILLED! They may not use them for quite a while (depending on their attachment level and if she's breastfeeding), but they may come in handy in a year.

My friends engagement party is next week but have very little money. Is it okay to make a gift?
I am currently on a very tight budget, but I don't want to go empty handed. Would it be acceptable if I made her a homemade cookie basket or something along those lines?
--------------------
Definitely, if anything it shows that you put in that extra bit of effort and thought :) handmade gifts always have a nice personal touch.

Looking for a catchy business name?
My business partner and I are planning on starting up a small business providing personalized services to sales oriented people. We will send out follow-up letters, thank you cards, birthday and anniversary cards, gift baskets, etc. Basically, a hand-written note or gift to show the customer that they are important and all. We are looking for a catchy but simple name for our business. Anyone have any serious ideas?

My boyfriend's in college and he's busted his leg. What type of gift basket should I send him?
He's 4 hours north of me so it has to be able to send well or sent from the company to him. He's tough, plays football, etc. so it can't be in the least bit frilly. A friend recommended ediblearrangements.com but they don't send to his area. I love what they have on there because I don't want to send typical cookies or flowers. Are there any other places that create this type of stuff?? thanks :)
--------------------
- Deliver a pizza to him. - Send him some painkillers. - Mail him some DVD's (movies). - Send him a football video game so he can still play and practice even when he's off the field. - Send him a robe since he's going to be laying around all day. A gift basket in itself is 'frilly' AND if he's athletic why by him junk food that he wont be able to work off?

How do I mix uncut body oil?
I plan to sell gift baskets over the holidays the body oils that I plan to use are uncut. I wanted to know if I have to mix the oils with the fillers and I have an 8oz bottle how much oil should I mix with the filler? Exact measure is not not necessary just a rough estimate.
--------------------
I usually add about 10 drops pure essential oil to about 8 ozs of filler oil. You have to add the scent oil then let it sit in a dark place for a day or so in order to smell the full scent result. It also will depend on the scent. You just have to experiment.

I AM! I don't even do my christmas shopping then. I just go for the excitement :) I will go in person! Last year I didn't sleep. I went to a midnight sale, then waited for the stores to open at 4, 5, and 6 am. I go every year. I love it!!!!!

What should I send my friend to her honeymoon hotel?
My good friend is getting married across the country at a simple courthouse ceremony (only their immediate fam is going) but they are staying at NYC hotel for their wedding night and I want to send them something. What should it be? I checked and the hotel doesn't have a spa and I am not thrilled about giving them room service credit (I know they plan on hitting some nice restaurants) so i thought maybe a gift basket. But what? Oh and they've been dating for ~8yrs so adult newlywed items wouldn't be too exciting

i am giving a towel set for a bridal shower gift. Any other little things i could add in?
I am putting it all in a laundry basket. I was just wondering some creative and useful things I could add inside that go along with the towels.
--------------------
I would put in a collection of nice, fancy, organic soaps (the expensive kind people wouldn't buy for themselves), like unique organic/all natural laundry detergent and bathroom hand soap, etc. They always smell so good and come in such pretty bottles, but are practical too. And they would kind of go with the towel/basket theme!

I want to buy her a basket full of useful cool stuff not just odds and ends of cute junk know what I mean? I don't remember 3rd grade at all so need some help with what she could use. I would say the basics! Paper clips (small and big), binder clips, post it notes, pencils, markers, colored pens for corrections, pink erasers, and maybe a nice "on the desk" item to hold any pens and pencils so that it they always have a place for quick access. And find the cute stuff that the kids would like, or classy stuff that anyone will like. Either way, its a great help because the kids will always "forget" to return anything borrowed.

what is something special i could do for him?
My fiance is coming home from overseas and i need some ideas of things i could do for him? Like any kind of special wine/ gift baskets or what kind of fun stuff ;)
--------------------
okay, if he was away for a long trip, clean up the house, cause when u are tired, thats the last thing you want him to worry about. 2. Don't do anything to complicated, he is probably going to be real tired from the traveling/time zone changes. So you know, maybe a nice soft easy dinner. Nothing spectacular, he is probably just happy to be home! 3. Be happy to see him!! Have a nice long chat about what he did, but again not too much pressure lol 4. let him do what he wants really. If he wants to just watch tv, or simply take a a walk in the neighborhood, don't stop him! (if you've ever been overseas, you would know) The next day then you can do something special and exciting!!!

Anniversary gift for parents?
My mom and dad's 12th anniversary is this Sunday, and I want to get them something, but I just don't know what. We're going away for my aunt's wedding, but im riding down with my other aunt, so i was gonna stow it in her trunk, and theyd be suprised when they got it because they wouldnt suspect it. But what should I get them? I wanted to get tehm something they could both use, but i dont have the slightest clue. My dad needs a can opener for his work, and my mom needs a pizza cutter, but theyre so seperate and kinda impersonal. Then I could make like a gift basket, but its kinda dumb. I dont know...HELP!!! THanks.
--------------------
You can get one of those collage picture frames, the ones that are big and have many openings, some are all one size and some are different. Put pictures of them from their wedding to now, through the years, leaving 2 openings blank. One blank to write Happy Anniversary and the date, and the other to take a picture of them on their anniversary and put the updated picture in there of the two of them and then the most recent picture of them is in there too, it's like a scrapbook of them for their wall. It is them through the years and if the frame has 15 openings, it's perfect, 12 for the pictures and then the other 2 to write what you want and then the recent picture! You can also make them a gift basket and give them the things they want. Being they both want kitchen items, give them a basket of kitchen items and make the theme of the basket a gourmet picnic basket, etc. Then you can put in there: The can opener The pizza cutter A gift card to their favorite restuarant Pizza stone (to go with the cutter) Personalized aprons Pastas Cheeses Favorite coffee and teas, cocoa Favorite snacks and chips Favorite cakes, cookies, etc Bottle of wine from the year they were married or champagne from that year Pair of wine flutes or champagne goblets Include whatever you think they would like. Make it so they can have their own little celebration in the hotel room and celebrate and then take home the gifts that they wanted. They will love having things with them that they can celebrate with, just make sure to include a red tablecloth to lie on the floor or bed so they can put everything on. OR You can call the hotel that you're staying in and order room service for them and have a celebratory meal sent to the room, or just a celebration picnic sent to their room, things like champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries, some fruits and cheeses, etc. Hotels DO things like this all the time! You just have to call and talk to them and then you can either pay over the phone or when you get there being you're going there too. You can even give them the can opener and pizza cutter to bring with the gift too and a card! I'm sure your parents would get a kick out of that too. You could also do a celebration with them in their hotel room, tell them that you're going to send out for dinner and meet them in their room. Then go out and get dinner and bring back pizza, champagne and some flutes and the pizza cutter and the opener. Then, you can set up the area and give your mom the cutter to cut the pizza and your dad the can opener, etc. Then present them with the champagne and celebrate with them. I DO like the idea of a gift a basket and I think they would too, especially if you give it to them to celebrate there. They can relax in their hotel room and have the champagne, some fruits and cheeses and then when you make it as a picnic basket, throw in the pizza cutter and can opener, they would love it! Especially knowing you did this for them! You can give them a can of olives and have the can opener there for that! You can also get a pizza and put the cutter in the box and then get something that would require the can opener and have that with it too. You can also make your mom and dad a pizza basket, put the pizza cutter, and the can opener, an apron, a pizza stone, olives, a bottle of wine, line it with a white and red checkered tablecloth,Then you can put a gift card to their favorite Italian restuarant or pizza place. I hope some of these ideas work and that your parents have a very Happy Annniversary!

A nice, useful baby shower gift?
I have been friends with this girl for about 8 years now. We lost touch there for about a year and half, and were just recently re-united. Her husband lost his job, and literally all they have for this baby is a car seat. Literally. I can't afford to spend one hundred dollars or anything. I was considering making a "gift basket" for her. But, instead of a basket, either a diaper bag, or bathtub. But, my problem is I don't know what to put in there. She's going to get a ton of clothes, I'm sure.. So I would like to steer clear of that.. Any ideas would help alot!
--------------------
Hangers, hypoallergenic (lotion, bath wash), teething tablets, baby tylenol, gas drops, changing pad, small wipe container for on the go (they're thin and rectangular), wipes, diapers, diaper rash cream, baby wash cloths, burp rags, (I didn't end up using either of the bath things I got for showers, I just like putting her in the regular tub on top of a hand towel so she doesn't slip), blankey, big fuzzy blankets, flannel swaddling blankets (these are super versatile and I love them!), shopping cart cover/liner, if she's planning on nursing - nursing pads, nursing shawl for public (again I like tucking a flannel swaddling blanket under my bra strap and just using that), a baby care kit (nail clippers, thermometer, things like that) lots of options that are small and fit well in a basket or a diaper bag or a Laundry Basket <-- I got a laundry basket gift with stuff in it, it was great because we needed one for all her clothes too! If you do a diaper bag, make sure it's big and has lots of compartments - I have in mine: diapers, wipes, hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes for changing tables, a changing pad, small sample pack of (soap, lotion, baby wash, butt cream, comb - all burts bees baby stuff), spare outfits, flannel swaddling blankets, nursing cover, extra shirt for me (incase I get puked on), nursing pads, tampons, pads (just incase), any medicines like tylenol, gas drops, teething tablets, thermometer, nose sucker, tissues - lots of compartments let you stay organized and be able to find everything when you need it.

Please help with V-day gift- Alcohol related?
So im going to get my boyfriend a gift basket of different kinds of Alcohol and i now nothing about whats good. Id like something where i don't have to by a 12 pack or 24 pack and can just give him one.... so its just more of a sample basket since he doesn't really drink a lot of variety since he just turned 21. Likes (please ignore my spelling): 1. gluek honey bock 2. Spiced ron diaz 3. Budweiser( not sure what kind) 4. Barenjager honey liqueuer Hates 1. Natural light i was thinking something that was premixed but it doesnt have to be. Any advice would be good... wine, beer, whatever. Thanks for the help
--------------------
he seems like he likes flavored beer. Buy him a variety pack i think it comes in either a 12 pack or case.of woodchuck beer. Its like a cider flavored beer. pretty good. you can buy it by the 6 pack i think there is 3 or 4 different flavors. cant go wrong with red bull and jager.
