Help naming my business?

I want a name for my web business that stands out! - It's all handcrafted items such as cards, invitations, wedding stationery, favours, jewellery, gift baskets - so a bit of a mix - The name doesn't have to incorporate what I'm selling but has to be easy to remember and spell. Would like it to be funky and modern or pretty sounding. Any ideas - much appreciated

Cookie containers?..?

Okay, I dun really have money right now to buy like...boxes, or fancy stuff to hold cookies, I already spent all of my money. (I'm 13) I have ribbon, and that see-through/clear wrap. That thing people use to wrap like gift baskets. Do you have any ideas on how to wrap the cookies to make it look nice? The cookies will be round, and some will be different shapes. Like small stars, bears...etc. Or do you have any links that can help with this? Thanks.
--------------------
If you can stack the cookies and wrap them in the clear wrap and tie the top with ribbon, that would look very nice. If you have any brown lunch bags these are great containers for cookies! You can punch holes in the top of the bag to run ribbon through. here's a link devoted to wrapping cookies that may give you some other ideas: http://recipes.kaboose.com/how-wrap-cook…

Absolutely! I have a friend who sells Mary Kay and she does that for all the holidays like Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc. I would recommend you have gift baskets (or gift bags work nicely, too) at different price points and then just add a flat shipping & handling cost, rather than the $2.50, $3.50, etc. I would include S&H whether you deliver, mail or not; consider that the charge for your putting everything together for them. And don't sell yourself short on the amount (I would say AT LEAST $4.95 or so) -- believe me, husbands will be THRILLED to pay for the convenience of having the gift taken care of for them! I would advertise on Craig's List about this special service.. You may also want to have a "wish list" for your women clients, and then you can automatically approach their husbands. Collect email addresses so you can send out a monthly (or more often) email newsletter. Good luck and prosper!

I have two questions to ask in math that i need for corrections for?

thanks in advance 1st: A youth organization raised 15,336 dollars by selling gift baskets. five different teams sold the baskets. Martin's team sold 48 baskets, Amy's team sold 138 baskets, Sharon's team sold 77 baskets, Juan's team sold 250 baskets, and Dee's team sold 126 baskets. Each basket was the same price. What was the price of 1 gift basket? 2nd: What is the difference between the amount of money raised by the team that sold the greatest number of gift baskets and the amount of money raised by the team that sold the least number of baskets? sorry and thanks, i just did not get this question.
--------------------
Let p be the price of the basket. The amount each team made will be the number of baskets they sold times the price, so 48p + 138p + 77p + 250p + 126p = 15336 Collect similar terms: 639p = 15336 and divide: p = 15336/639 = $24 The team that sold the most was Juan's: 250p = $6000. (I want Juan on my team.) The team that sold the least was Martin's: 48p = $1152 Difference: 6000 - 1152 = $4848

Romantic Xmas Gift Idea?

Backround Info: I am 18, so is my girlfriend who i have dated the past 2 years. We hang out quiet a bit, were typical 18 year olds, we go out n party, have sex all that fun stuff but besides from watching movies and hanging out together at our places we dont get out and do different stuff so much So for my idea for christmas i want to make a calander.. then come up with 52 ideas/gfts on stickers and have her pick them out 1 by 1 and whatever she pulls is what we do that week... I figure it will spice things up and every week we will have something different going on.. My main problem is - 1. I am on a budget and 2. I cant think of 52 different things to do. I live in Upstate New York so it is seasonal, so i was thinking id have her draw from 4 sept "bags" or whatever to keep her from pulling something we cant do because of weather.. I would like to do 1 "bigger" thing each month and 3 smaller things, basically what ive come up with so far is Restraunt Gift Cards/Out to dinner, Ice skating, Bowling,Motel gift card and have a little sex basket, "Massage Night" but instead of going out make a basket full of oils/candles, etc, and NYC trip (can b expensive). I am on a budget but how i see it is some of it i can just make little "coupons" so i can pay for them later... but i would like things for her to open as well so im looking for more ideas and even ideas that i could have gifts to go along with.. let me know what ya think of the idea and give me some help, Thanks

gift for my 11 year old niece?

Hey. I'm 16 years old and I'm trying to think of a good Christmas gift for my 11 year old niece. Her birthday is in February, so she will be 12 soon. I love her to death and I want to get her something special. Any ideas? Keep in mind that my max budget for her is about $50 because I have buy gifts for at least a dozen other people. Here is some info: She's not into dolls, barbies, etc anymore...some 11 year olds are, but she's a bit mature for her age. She's in 6th grade. She's a combo of a tomboy and a girly-girl. She plays sports sometimes, but she loves jewelry, fashion, lotion, hair stuff, etc. She likes Aeropostale, Claires, preppy stores. Sometimes she is preppy, sometimes punkish. Still likes Disney Likes music- country music, Jonas brothers, hip hop I was thinking if I couldn't think of a big gift, to get a big stocking or basket and fill it with: A book A DVD Jewelry Lotion, make-up, hair stuff Pajamas/slippers/socks clothes What kind of stuff should I put in it? Do you think thats a good gift?
--------------------
she's just like me i'm mature for my age and i'm 11 and in the sixth grade and my cousin is 16!lol well maybe try a book series that adjusts to a younger audience like twilight, secrets of my hollywood life, the clique, or even gossip girl. these are all the book series' tat i'm into and most kids my age are into! if not pajamas are always a good bet, maybe even a scarf set, a wallet a purse.

I need help for a christmas present....?

I wanna make my boyfriend a gift basket and I have some ideas of what to get but not what to put it in. I don't want to put it in a basket because that's kinda girly and he will have no need for it. I know he likes movies, and video games and baseball, but can't think of anything to put the gift basket stuff in. Any ideas?
--------------------
What if you give him a stocking? I did that one time. You can put all different kinds of things. If he uses cologne, put a little bottle of it in there. Get him a baseball shirt, or a cap, get him tickets to see a movie with you, put a gift card in there. You know, all those little things. I think you should write him a note too. I'm sure he'd love that. Hope I gave you some ideas! (:

candles, massage oils. Find out if they need things for their home, as in bath towels, kitchen items, etc. You could use things like that too. What kind of hobbies do they like, such as, if your mom likes to read, find her a book she would enjoy. Sometimes, buying gifts are hard for some people!

I bought a Christmas present for my best friend. I bought one for her parents. Now comes the hard part...HELP!

I bought my best friend a shirt and some jewelry. I bought her parents a coffee gift basket. Now comes the hard part: buying a christmas present for her siblings...all 6 of them, without going overboard. Ron and Kiley are about 4(girl) & 3(girl), Molly(girl) is about 6, Walker(boy) is about 8, Jay(boy) is like 13, and Bailey is(a girl) 16. What could I buy (I'm just going to Wal-Mart for this) for each of them that they all would like, without spending over $20, or does Wal-Mart have any in-store gift baskets that would satisfy such a need? Thanks a million in advance and I hope you guys don't have any such complications while Christmas shopping! God Bless, Sameeh

I would but them a game board that they all can play or a card game like uno !!!

Consignment?

Im intersted in selling my gift baskets to different shops (florists, hotels, funeral homes, etc) on consignment but I am wondering how much off I should offer the shop. I am not familiar with what the norm or expected figures are, but I did read that I should sell to the shop at 15% off. If I send literature, should I include a % discount that I would sell to the store and the amount of profit they would make if they then sold the basket to a customer? Does anyone have any suggestions?
--------------------
What is your break even points (cost),add shipping and handling-Taxes plus your profit 150% from the 150% you can offer them a lucrative discount 30% and 20% as a bonus if they reach the target.Or subtract 10% from bonus to customers as a special introductory offer.

Can you help me decide on a New Years gift?

Long story short I have worked my job several years. My "bosses" are three sisters. We have been through a lot together through the years and they have been there for me through many tough times. I consider them family and I know they feel the same about me. I have decided I am not going to get them a Christmas gift but instead a New Years gift in honor of another year. But I am having a really hard time deciding what. I want it to be special, personal, and GREAT but inexpensive. I am a single parent and doing it for three of them. I would like some store bought stuff so please help me with that. But also some GREAT dessert recipes would be great too. Somethings not expensive and not too ordinary...kind of fancy but easy and fun! All help and suggestions would be so appreciated. I really do not know what to get them...PS-The desserts would be made from the children and me and I would like small things that I can put together as a variety basket for the treats!
--------------------
a good New Years gift to celebrate another year would be a clock because it symbolizes time(together). for the treat basket sugar cookies are always fun and easy for the kids to decorate. fudge is easy too. I made baskets for my coworkers one year with mugs, cocoa mix, cider mix, popcorn, cokes, and a movie rental certificate. I got the baskets at thrift stores so it was pretty cheap.
