Does anyone know where I can find...............?

I am looking for a shop named crossharts, they sell some really nice jewellery and sell beauty gift baskets where you can choose what goes in them. I have found them on eBay before under the web address of http://stores.ebay.co.uk/crossharts however my browser won't load it anymore. Does anyone know how I can find another web address or any contact details for them?

Just clicked your link, nothing here either. I put in ' crossharts ' in Googl and it said they are undergoing some work at the moment and will be back soon.

mothers day... is this a good...?

Mothers' day is coming, please tell me, is this a good idea, I sell Avon and my brother gave me this idea... (He said it would work for the men who just don't know what to get... and the men who work too late to go shopping...) make gift baskets... and do a "build your own basket" or a "You pick the price" where you tell me what you want in the basket and I put it together. And charge... Ex. Small basket: $1.50 plus the cost of the Avon products. Medium basket: $2.50 plus the cost of the Avon products. Large basket: $3.50 plus the cost of the Avon products. Do you think this would work??? would it work in a small town???
--------------------
Men wait until the last minute and most need to be told what to get so don't waste time having them pick just make a few and as you sell them make more. Just have them ready and a set price. Say a coffee cup, or basket with whatever for wife...that sort of thing. With a card that would be what would sell me. No card or gift to get. Easy ...price would not be that important so make one say 10.00 range one 20.00 range. Make it easy for the guys but don't stop there you could do it for all occasions like birthday, baby showers, weddings, etc., oh and wrap then in the holiday wrapping. This works even better in small towns. If you advertise a lot it might work! GO FOR IT GIRL!!! ^_^

How do I stop my kids from giving me their toys as gifts all the time?

I feel bad rejecting their "presents" but they keep putting together baskets of small toys and giving them to me when they are things (both gifts that others gave them that are valuable and other junky toys as well). It's not like I can just throw them away. How do I handle this?? HELP!!! I don't want to seem rejecting or unappreciative!!
--------------------
Hi! You must be a good Mom that they would like to give you so many gifts. I think it makes a difference as to how old they are. 2 to 4 years? Are they gifts from the holidays or Birthdays? Some times Kids get gift burnout around holidays. I really don`think that they would feel rejected or that you are unappreciative If you told them that you could not except them because they were given to them and Auntie or Grand Ma would be hurt that they would give them away. I don`t think it will go on for very long anyway. I think that you can discreetly, with out them knowing, put them back into their rooms or shelves or toy boxes after a week or so. If they find them and question you about them, tell them simply that you put them there because that is where toys go when you are not playing with them now. Good Luck!

What's a Christmas present suitable for guys and girls?

I'm going to a Christmas party and we're going to be doing a random gift exchange where you pull some one's name out of a basket and give them your gift. And it's supposed to be under $10. So, does anyone have ideas for cheap gifts that both guys and girls will like?
--------------------
I like electronics. The gummies headphones/ ear buds come in bright colors. CD's, books. If you live someplace that is cold-- Scarves or those 180 earmuffs are great Coffee, hot chocolate, or tea with two mugs. Make your own gift basket with different chocolate. Do you have a World Market near you? They have chocolate from around the world. For adults, kitchen items are great too. The silicone bake ware is all the rage and comes in so many great colors. Travel items--Target has a huge selection of luggage tags, TSA approved locks, small bottles to fill with your liquids--for very reasonable prices.

A gift for my grandparents, the hardest one to find. They have everything they possibly need. Ideas anyone?

I know that they'll be happy just receiving a gift from me, but i still want it to be special. Any time my granny (don't laugh about the fact that i call her that) gets a cheap little gift from her friends (like bath and body works, fake flowers in a vase, candy basket) she ends up giving it to me. I don't want to get her one of those gifts that she's just going to want to give away. I also don't want to make her feel guilty into having to display my gift or keep it even if she doesn't like it. I never buy them gifts because I never know what to get them, but this year I really wanted to do something nice for them. They do so much for me.
--------------------
How about putting together a little segment of their lives on DVD? You can include pictures from when they were young and everything thats led up to now. It's cool to have it mixed with live video if you have any. A friend did this for me recently with video & pictures from our vacation and it was awesome. Oh and add some appropriate music ! That should give it a good feeling of nostalgia. It may sound cheesy to some but if done correctly it's awesome to see visually, It's not your old fashioned slideshow. It gives such a differnt feeling to see glimpses of many events on t.v. all at once. GOOD LUCK :)

How do you give a bottle of wine?

My parents always get wine as a gift for Christmas, Easter, their anniversary, etc. They aren't really particular about the taste. They receive so many bottles and don't really prefer one over another. I wanted to do some red wine/ cheese/ cracker gift baskets for my in-laws and I suggested it to my boss who in response asked me if I knew what type of red wine they drank. I don't know though. Since I am not a wine drinker I'm not sure of these things. Does it really matter what type of red wine or are certain ones better/worse? Are people really particular about the wine they drink? Can I just ask the employees at the liquor store what they suggest? Do I have to find out their preference or can I just go to the store and see what they suggest?
--------------------
You never go wrong if you buy the expensive wines from France, Italy and also California. It would be very enlightening if you try to find out the preferences of people that you intend to give the wine. Wines have so many varieties or classes, and it could be confusing sometimes. But to make things simple, just try the red and the white varieties. So there you are. Of course, you can also ask suggestions from the store what to buy, say as to the most bought wines or most tasty and classy ones. Good luck to you.

I need Christmas shopping help!!!?

I have so many people to buy for this year! I need something for my mom 12 year old brother Mother in law father in law husband 6 yr old nephew and 2 gift baskets for some crazy dumb game we play at my grandmothers! I have $200..... help!? My mother is recently widowed and bought herself everything she's ever wanted. NO clue what to get her. My brother is 12. Enough said. My husband is going to Iraq in March/April so he's depressed that anything anyone gets him he'll only use for a short while...and my in laws are impossible to please!! Gah! And the gift basics are supposed to be gender generic!! GR! I hate Christmas shopping! Help!
--------------------
ALL FOR UNDER $200.00: Your mother buy day spa gift certificate OR one from her favorite hair salon for a day of beauty. Your brother needs an iTunes gift certificate OR new skateboard. Your nephew will like a Tonka truck OR a kid's tool set. Your in-laws will enjoy a new full set of fluffy his and her bath towels OR bathrobes. Your husband needs a overseas goodie bag filled with an Uno deck, regular deck of cards, disposable flash camera, pen and pencil, small notebook or diary, camo, brown or green bandannas, sunblock, deodorant/antiperspirant, lip balm, aloe vera, stationery and stamps and trail mix or tins of nuts. (I ought to know, I've sent a dozen of these over there for Xmas). 2 gift baskets - gender generic -- EASY: 1. Buy a cheap holiday bowl and fill with assorted Christmas candies and wrap in plastic wrap with a bow on top. 2. Go to the Dollar Store and buy small size crackers, cheeses, sausages, tins of tuna, sardines, mustard, pretzels, etc and a picnic type basket to put it all in and there you are! Piick the cheapest of the 2 options I gave you. Happy Holidays!

How do I start two businesses?

I have two possible business opportunities and I'm not sure how to go about them because they're both very different. 1. Doing some temp accounting work for companies I know. I wouldn't be on their payroll but would just help them out and bill them as needed 2. Selling gift baskets. I always give them as gifts and this year I've had companies ask me if I can do some for them. How do I go about doing both of those legally, tax and GST wise? (In AB so no PST). Do I need to incorporate two businesses or can I work under one or even trade names? How do I set up a business/GST number? Any help is greatly appreciated.
--------------------
You will need to register with the IRS for tax purposes as well as your state for excise taxes and B&O taxes. If you can afford it, I would file for a limited liability company and then register 2 trade names, one for each business. Contact the IRS to obtain a EIN ( Employer Identification Number ), I believe you can apply for one online now - I did it via postal mail. The best recommendation is to visit your state's licensing department's website to obtain all the information necessary for doing business in your state. If you work out of your home, there are 'some' restrictions sometimes so you'll have to work with the licensing department to figure that out. Good luck!

Im trying to start a business....?

Im now a stay at home dad of my newborn for a few months 'cause my wife makes more than I did. Im trying to start this while I do nothing at home. It's a gift/sales kind of business but I have no idea what I'm doing. I wanna make gift baskets, jewelry, toys, perfumes, flowers, etc. I want to buy things wholesale and put them together, make a catalog to distribute, things like that. What I need is a business plan which I don't know how to make or where to get it; a sales license that I believe I can get at my local city hall; the supplies, which I cannot seem to find good prices online for; and a grant, which I have no idea as to how I am going to attain. I graduated high school, did 'some' college, and have a trade that I can always fall back on. Can you guide me as to where I can find the information I need? Or, if possible, give me some tips yourself? Thanks everyone.
--------------------
Okay, let me take a shot at your list. 1) Business plan - go to the web site of the Business Development Bank of Canada http://www.bdc.ca/en/my_project/Projects… and click on step 2. This will give you more than enough information to do a Business Plan. 2) Licenses and permits - You will need some kind of business license from the local government, so you are right about going to City Hall. You will also need to get a state sales tax certificate (assuming the state you reside in charges sales tax) and if you plan on doing business using anything other than your name you will have to register DBA (Doing Business As) -- try City Hall to get this done. If they can't do it they will be able to tell you who does. 3) Supplies - You will have to do a search for wholesalers and manufacturers of each type of supply you are seeking. You will find that prices are going to depend on the quantities you buy and when starting out quantities should be small and as a result the cost to you will be high. 4) Grant money - Forget it! Unless you are going to hire a number of unemployed workers and set up shop in a depressed neighborhood getting grant money to start a business isn't about to happen. Since you will be starting off small this shouldn't be a problem. To keep your costs down you should look into using a web site instead of a catalog to promote your gift baskets. You can set up a web site complete with a shopping cart, paypal and credit card sales for less money than even a simple low volume catalog. Hope this helps Jerry-the-bookkeeper

If I create a local website for my city, do you think it will work?

There are over 700 businesses that have a website listed in our local phone book. I decided to build a website directory for these businesses. Once I complete the directory, I will create category listings for certain businesses that will help promote the site. Area businesses will be able to link their website or create a profile for free as long as they help promote the website to the public. For a minimal charge, I can create and manage their websites for them and maybe throw in email advertising as a bonus by building a list from participating businesses. Other revenue will be earned from florist shops, gift baskets, gift certificates, etc. To ensure speedy service, I will deliver the goods too. Do you think my website will work or is it a waste of time? You can visit my site at SeeMeOn.com. How does the name sound? Thank you for your input
--------------------
It's a waste of time. There are so many online directories providing this service you will not be able to get visitors to a local website to find information you are providing. Most people just go to Google. If you have the skills, you could go to your local businesses and offer to get them online by creating their websites for a fee. If I was you, I would create web pages with automatic cash generating pages with affiliate links and adsense pages. Hope this helps

What should I get my Fiancee's Mother For Christmas?

What should I get my Fiancee's Mother For Christmas? We have been together for almost 3 years. I was thinking of framing a nice photo of her son since she can never get a nice picture of him. Camera shy. But im not sure if I should give her a nice photo of the both of us together. I would obviously put the picture in a nice frame. What do you think? The pictures are black and white and taken outside in a forest so they look very elegant as if a professional took them. I am just not sure if she would want a picture of me...she hated me for the 1st half of our relationship. I stil dont know if she realllly likes me. Would this be a bad idea? We have given her gift baskets and candles in the past so those are not options. It's just a little something..since he doesnt live at home anymore.....Would giving her a picture of her son, portray a covert message saying...i have ur son now, he lives with me....here u just get a picture of him.??????Also, they already have many many plants in their house already. So i dont want to get her flowers or a pointcetta...or chocolates... Any other suggestions? a gift card is not an option. That is the easy way out.

Homemade bath products and storage/life span of product?

For christmas this year, I'm making gift baskets with homemade bath products. The thing that i am concerned about is how long will these products last for? Some of them contain powdered milk and are all dried ingredients, while others have dried milk, essential oils and water added to them. I planned on storing them in glass bottles and jars, will this keep the products fresh? My mom is one of the people who will be receiving a basket, and it usually takes her up to a year to use a jar of bath salts. I just don't want to give her something that will go bad quickly. Thanks :)
--------------------
Anything you add water to will have a short life span. With the ingredients you're talking about, they'd be good for maybe a month if you refrigerate them, but maybe not even that long. The dried ingredients will last a long time.. I don't know exactly what you're using, but I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would go bad within a year, as long as they're kept away from direct light and heat in the jars you're using. The essenial oils are fine, but my suggestion is to make everything dry (other than the e.o.'s) and leave it dry. For instance, if you were making a facial scrub, insead of adding water to it, leave it dry and give instructions to mix a little with water (in a separate container) each time they use it. Have fun making them! Everyone is going to love them..

HELP! No clue on what to get my boyfriend for Christmas (and no money) !?

We have been dating for over 2 and 1/2 years and I do not work because I am studying hard to get into med school. I still live at home with my parents and he still lives with his. (I am 21; he is 22) However, my parents do not exactly help me much in the money department except for gas and food. I want still want to do something special and creative for him but I don't know what? I feel like I have done everything already (gift baskets full of his favorites, painted him pictures, made him CD's of meaningful songs, made collages, made a scrapbook, made a slideshow of pictures on the computer, and when I did have money I bought him the material things he did want) He is very picky and not your typical guy. He isn't into sports (except UFC), but he does like to work out...a definite gym rat. Somewhat into video games, but not so much. Hasn't even played them in over half a year. Very particular about his music choice, pretty much dislikes all modern music lol Is interested in business & stock market mumbo jumbo. I am in a pickle =/ he tells me not to worry and does not understand why I am even worrying about a gift for him but I want him to have a wonderful Christmas...

My future mother-in-law hates me?

Here's the deal: i always got along great with my fiance's mother. I honestly tried to be fair with her, considerate and when we had our son I even let her come in and see him be born because she was standing in the hall and i know she felt left out. On the holidays i was always the one to pick out her gift; i'm crafty, so i usually put together gift baskets for her. i called her and asked her regularly if she'd like to see her grandson, but she is always busy..working and running errands, so she never saw him more than three or four times a month. On my son' s first birthday she exploded on my mother, saying i was rude, immature, petty, etc and that i keep her away from her grandson. when my mom told me this, i was hurt and shocked, but i held my tongue out of respect for my partner. however, i did tell hm later, but he never even talked to her about it. needles to say, he just got worse; i tried calling her to straighten things out, but she wouldn't answer. finally, she called me and said some pretty hateful things, so i told her to stay out of my life and i also told her she wouldn't see our son again until she could treat me with more respect. my fiance agrees with me, but he's an avoider and still hasn't talked to her about it. before this their relationship wasn't that great; he didn't talk to her for FOUR years, but yet she blames me and claims that i keep her away from her grandson. i know she's just jealous because my son is more attached to my mom, but my mom is his primary caregiver when we're at work. i would have loved for his other grandma to be more involved, but he was never around. but now, i look like the bad guy to all of his family i'm sure, and my fiance still isn't opening his mouth and telling my side for me. it really hurts. he just doesn't like conflict, but i feel like he should stick up for me. i hate that things are this way, but i don't know how to fix it? we're getting married this summer and i would like to talk to her before then, but she is so irrational that she just yells at me if i call. would you be upset if your fiance refused to stand up to his mother? why is she acting this way? i am honestly still shocked because it came out of nowhere! should i try to call again? write her a letter or just consider her out of my life?
--------------------
Your future mother in-law is jealous of the relationship your son has with your mother This is common..human nature For some reason, she may be jealous of you ! Are there any future sister-in laws in this picture? Are these women hard working decent family orientated women with good men in their lives? If they are not & you are..she wishes they were like you The caregiver gets much love Is this your mother- in-laws only (youngest)grandchild? Do not talk negative about this..Welcome to the club, there are many of us out here (me too) Be sweet, kind, patient, understanding & try to reel her in slowly into her grandson's life. A daughter's child is sometimes closer& special to the daughters mother Let baby get to know his grandmother slowly ,invite her over weekends for dinner..alone This will take time..work with your man to make this a successful transition Love is beautiful..especially grand kids love Good luck

Help!!!! I need Valentines day ideas!!! fast!!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!! I have alot to do!!!!!!!!!!?

Valentines day is coming soon. And I got a lot to do for some special people. So I got about 5 days to plan out what I want for V day, and to give gift baskets to about 3 families!!! Including my mom, my dad and my brother. (My brother is special needs and I love him so much. He loves me to! And by the way, he is only physically disabled.....so just because he's in a wheelchair doesn't mean he has a mental problem.....he understands everything I say. It's hard for him to communicate sometimes but he's a happy free spirited boy. Im sorry to write this it just gets on my nerves when I mention him and people are rude and say the same thing. By the way, don't be scared of people either......they know.) Anyway, I have a lot to do. I need some ideas how to decorate the baskets and what to put in them. One of the families has little kids about 3 and 4 and a new born. The other 2 I got covered. I just need to have some of the ideas for decoration.....and what's inside. I think a stuffed animal, roses, a coffee mug ( they all drink coffee-not the kids but....), some cookies, ( heart shaped ones) and a card. Maybe a Balloon too! What do you think?!!! Thanks!!!!
--------------------
I see that you've decided to prepare some gifts to your close families ?f ? were you I would write all gifts in green hand writing first of all then I would never make a basket full with the same thing everybody should understand his or her place in my heart .so ? get for each of them a special gift ,for my brother on wheelchair a pair of shoes or socks or sleepers which am sure he likes their color . and such things for other members ,but never the same things
