Can anyone list ideas of good teen little things to put in it? And don't say earrings, I have too many of those. haha. LITTLE TEENAGER EASTER BASKET STUFFERS :) 10 points to best answer!

You're NEVER too old for candy ;)

Men and Women PLZ answer its a mothers day idea what do you think?

My mom and I sell Avon. my mom buys A lot of Avon When its really cheap. Its still brand new and now she has a lot of product that we should sell and would be excellent mothers day gifts. I have some baskets and clear wrapping for the baskets i can make a few of those and then also for ppl who want to buy just items they want i will put them in a nice avon bag and put tissue paper on top and poof it out like a gift for them. NOW this will be at my house I live off of a busy street I was wondering if i put a sign out saying: Mothers day gifts and Avon products do you think I would have ppl come. If you have an idea tell me what you think?

Get to know them better. This is not a task only to be accomplished through dating. The more you get to know him or her, the more you can tell if you like them as a friend or something else. Just talk and do fun activities with the person. Stop and consider why you like the person. There are many physically attractive and smart people out there. But if you see something beyond that really catches your attention, you've marked this person as unique and probably like them. Why else would they stand out from so many? Consider how many times you think about the person. If you find yourself thinking about this person several times a day, and they are happy thoughts that possibly make your heart beat faster, then you probably like them. Think how often you laugh at their jokes etc. When you like someone, you will find yourself laughing at things even if they aren't that funny. This is a natural attempt to make them feel appreciated. If the one conversation between you and the person is stuck in you head and you cant stop telling people about it. this means it was important to you, and you probably like the person. Consider how much you try to be near them. If you've planned your walking speed to catch a glimpse of them as many times of the day as possible, there is a good reason for that. Think about how you feel if you touch him or her, by accident or on purpose. If you're still thinking about brushing shoulders several hours ago in school, then that is a special thought and you probably like them. If you feel you're ready for a relationship, and are confident enough for a positive response, then just go ahead and ask them out. If you're unsure of their feelings for you, there are several wikihows on how to tell if someone likes you.

35 weeks pregnant? Have some Mother in law concerns?

Me and my partner are entitled to a 2 bedroom place soon as the baby is born. We did view places and try to get into a 1 bed place just so we'd be settled before the baby was here but they wouldn't except us as they think we'd be better off waiting till we can get a 2 bed house. So baby will be here very soon, but we are currently staying with my partners mother. We'll be here only a couple weeks after the baby is born. I'm very worried that she is going to interfer when the baby is here. You know, tell me how to do things, tell me I'm doing something wrong. She is very much that type of person and I don't want her to do this. Its my parenting experience. We have a perfectly new moses basket gifted from my parents but the mother in law still insists we use her moses basket that was kept in the attic for over 20 years. She also insists we must buy it another mattress. I find this unessacary, we've got one and would rather spend our money on other stuff the baby actually NEEDS. When we showed her the moses basket my parents brought (quite a while ago) she acted as though she hated us. So I know her reaction won't be great. Do I just tell her to back off if need be? Do I just tell her we won't be using her moses basket? I don't want to offend her but I want to be comfortable with my own baby.
--------------------
My suggestion would be first of all,use your own basket. This is YOUR baby and part of the experience is getting new things for the baby,if your mil has a hissy..maybe you could suggest using the basket to put stuffed animals in as decor in the babies room. I'm almost 28 weeks pregnant with my 2nd little boy and also have a pushy mil..thank GOD she lives 3 states away! Lol,my husbands family is planning on coming up when the baby is born and I already plan on sitting her,and her mother (my grandmother in law) down and telling them I want them to have an enjoyable experience with the baby but there is a difference between offering advice and TELLING someone how to do something. Especially after your baby is born, you'll be emotional and may want to remind her to be a little sensitive about things she says or does. Hope everything works out for the best, enjoy your pregnancy and baby! :)

Thank you present to business owner?

Im interviewing a business owner for a class project this week and need some ideas as to what to send as a THANK YOU gift. (Chocolates, flowers, fruit basket, etc) I need all the help i can get. Thanks everyone!

The card is most appropriate. BUT, if you truly can afford it, visit a classy bakery and have them gift wrap a fancy strudel. Your instincts are correct. The gift is quite professional.

The majority of my family is dirt poor and all family holidays and get togethers fall in the lap of the ones

that choose to work, save for a rainy and spend their money wisely. I know it could all be gone over night but there is some resentment building up. For instance, we live almost two hours away but spend our gas money and buy food to fix when we get there so we can stay connected to the family. We try to go every two weeks. Our family has visited our new house two times in the last three years. Am I wrong to be aggravated? Before you answer, they always manage to have killer gifts, easter baskets, outfits, go out to eat all of the time and work when they want to because they like being their own boss. When they are asked to bring paper plates, napkins or a 2 liter of pop, they always say they don't have any money. Even the nieces and nephews are like that....
--------------------
First, cut back on your visit times. You don't need to go back home every 2 weeks. Go every 3rd or 4th month if you want to go and in the interim telephone. When on the phone don't allow the conversation to be about money or the lack thereof, instead, talk about the weeks accomplishments, local news etc . . . unfortunately, there are people out there, family and non family a like who will old their hand out instead of doing for themselves. I think it is wonderful of you to want to keep the family close but you shouldn't do it at the expense of your wallet and/or your soul. Good luck.

How To become an Expert in Basket Weaving?

I love everything about this wonderful hobby – from selecting the materials to carefully crafting each design to placing the finished piece in a place of honor in my home. I also love basket weaving because I work in a very technical job, and this hobby is very relaxing and also gives me a sense of accomplishment when I complete a project. Plus, people really seem to enjoy receiving my handmade baskets as gifts! (And I really enjoy all the money I save not having to buy gifts from expensive stores!) I guess you could say that I'm addicted to basket weaving and all its incredible benefits – and now I want to enable you to enjoy this amazing hobby as well!
--------------------
Thankyou for sharing! Any hobby is relaxing but the secret is finding one you enjoy and isn't a waste af time. Looks like you have done that. I have always admired how basket weavers move their fingers and know just where to tuck in the ends. I find crocheting , sewing and knitting accomplish the same results for me. Finding time to do it in this busy world helps relax your mind and there is a useful article when finished. It is very gratifying to see the look on someones face when you tell them you made it yourself.

Why is that as you get older family stops caring...?

I'm just curious. I used to be so freaking spoiled by my family...aunts...unlces...cousins...mom.… that it bugs me or not that I'm greedy, but I'm 22 and seems like since I was 18 all the X-Mas gifts, Easter baskets, birthday gifts...it all stopped. Is this part of the growing up process? People just kick you out and don't sugar coat anything for you anymore. So sad. Why did I ever grow up?! I miss the days when I used to run home from school, turn on the t.v. watch Power Rangers and go play with the neighbors...Ahh the simple days!! No more letters to Santa =(
--------------------
Yep, part of growing up. I think it is so cool you got to experience all that love and support when you were a kid because it set an example for you to treat the little ones in your life a certain way. If you have friends or family with little kids, now is your chance to give back ... it doesn't have to involve money either, a weekly play date at the local park makes any kid feel top notch special!!! Now that you are considered 'grown' by your family, you can still keep the bond alive by dropping a letter or note, short phone calls for updates, etc. I am sure they still would love to hear what is new in life for you, even though they are not doing the kid spoiling thing for you anymore .... I sure miss those simple days too..... wahhhh!!! Growing up doesn't feel so good as I imagined it would once you are there!!!

What is a good aniversary present for my parents 31 aniversary?

I need good ideas, I make the same questions at yahoo answer in spanish, I don't like any of the answers, everything was about giving them my love, how do they know I don't give my parents love? I need a material gift, something I can't put on a box with a big bow on top. My mom love jewelry, I was thinking something from Pandora, but her bracelet is already full. My father is like a little boy he like fun things no ties and no tools. They don't like romantic dinners, wine, fruit baskets or spa gifts certificates. They are very difficult. Please help me. The anniversary is next month.
--------------------
I'm like your mom...I love jewelry, but frankly, I really do have enough. I'm not sure if you'd like this idea, but one of my favorite things is my roomba robotic vacuum cleaner. It works REALLY well on all surfaces, and fascinates my husband and my cats, as well. If you go to youtube.com and type in roomba kitties, you'll see what I mean about the entertainment factor. As far as myself, I just love that I turn it on and it does all the work for me. All I have to do is empty the bin and clean the brush heads. It even takes itself back to it's recharging station when the battery gets low. Word of caution. It must be used at least once a week or the battery will die quickly. I learned that the hard way. EDIT: Well, I wish we'd have known your budget before. The roomba is definitely out. Do you parents gamble and does the cruise ship have a casino? If so, perhaps you could buy them each a stack of chips, say 31 for each of them? Or, buy something while you're on the cruise that will be a special memorable keepsake OF the cruise.

Solve this problem please!!?

The grocer was making up a gift fruit basket. Half of the fruit were oranges. One forth were apples, one eighth were peaches, one sixteenth were bananas, and one-thirty-second were grapefruit and 2 were plums. Please state your answer, and tell me how you did it.
--------------------
Using the hints from above: Oranges = 16 Apples = 8 Peaches = 4 Bananas = 2 Plumbs = 2 GF = 1 16 + 8 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 33 so it looks like the basket has an extra piece of fruit. Try this: 32 + 16 + 8 + 4 + 2 + 2 = 64 is the amount of fruit in the basket.

What would go good with a DVD?

I got my aunt the Wall-E dvd for Christmas. Well i was thinking about walking up to CVS today to get her a gift card but i don't think i am going to do that because the gift card would only be for $15. I was thinking about doing a movie basket but i don't know what to put in it because she doesn't eat candy really. And she doesn't eat popcorn. So i don't know what to do!
--------------------
A bottle of wine, sparkling cider if she doesn't drink alcohol. A book A blanket to use while watching the movie Some scented candles Maybe some nuts instead of popcorn. The movie, some nuts and a bottle of sparkling cider would make a nice basket. Throw in a cheap romance novel and you have a great basket.

Making a kosher fruit basket?

I'm trying to make a fruit basket to bring as a gift since my friend invited me for thanksgiving. They keep kosher, so I wanted to check --I plan on using fresh uncut fruit which should be fine (I'm thinking apples, pears, oranges), but what about the basket that it's in? I know using nonkosher utensils can make normally kosher food non-kosher; is the basket going to be a problem?
--------------------
answer: really check over the fruit very carefully for any hint of bugs (usually not a problem but with grapes, raisins and other bunches of fruits it is sometimes). Any hint of bugs makes fruit trefel - non-Kosher. Fruit and veggies are always allowed. Great idea, btw! The basket shouldn't be a problem as long as it hasn't contained anything not allowed in a kosher home: pork, non-kosher beef, non-kosher chicken, etc. Maybe line the basket with a napkin or small towel?

Great Romance Anime????????? Please people's?

Itanuzara na kiss ***** Bokura ga ita **** Lovely Complex **** School Days * ah my goddess Maburho*** Peach girl ***** Ultra maniac **** Clannad Clannad after story Lovely complex Kimi no todoke Bokora ga ita Special A Fruit basket Gift~eternal rainbow Myself;Your self Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka Ah! mygoddes Da capo Da capo || 11 eyes Vampire knight Vampire knight guilty Earl and fairy Wind a breath of heart W~wish Sola True tears To love ru Otome wa Boku no Koishiteru Kimikiss pure rouge Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora Kanon Kodocha Paradise Kiss Ouran High school Host club Inuyasha Kimi ni todoke trinityblood blood --------------------
Well, Clannad & Clannad After Story are probably one of the most romantic animes out there. So its gonna be tough. "Toradora" -- filled with romance and comedy "School Rumble" -- same as Toradora "5 centimeters per second" -- its a short movie, but it revolves around relationships and its very touching. You mentioned 11eyes - and while it has its romantic side, it has quite a bit of violence, so i'll mention a few in that category as well. "Angel Beats" -- its produced by Key(same producers as Clannad, Kannon and Air). So be ready for a Clannad-like ending. "Shakugan No Shana" -- some romance/action If you are gonna end up watching them, I would strongly suggest you start with either Toradora or School Rumble, followed by 5cm per second, then the action-ish ones. Have fun.

What can we do about the unhealthy heat in our apartment that we pay the landlord for?...?

the heat and water is supposed to be included, but it actualy is $150 a month even in the warmer wheather...we live in michigan...the building has 6 units and it has a steam radiator system with the boiler in the basement...sometimes it is over 90 degrees in our place...it was 18 below zero the other day and we had to open all the windows to our place and it still only brought the temperature in here to 79...sometimes the radiators go completely off...they went off about 15 hours ago and now it is 51 degrees in here with the windows closed right not of course...the landlord does nothing to fix the problem...our daughter has had 2 ear and througt infections this winter and has never had them before...when it is hot in here it gets so bad that it melts the chocolate in our cupboards...i went down to the basement to take a look at the boiler steam system...there was paperwork on the wall...the 2 yr inspection for it is 4 months late, and sheet that showed service calls said the last one was back in 2000!...so they haven't even had any "tune ups" on this boiler for 9 years!...wow!!!...i am not going to mess with the boiler because that is beyond my knowledge and i also don't want to get blamed for "breaking" it...what can i do about this?...can i turn the landlord in?...where would i do it?...how can i get him to fix it?...oh, we do not have a thermostat in our apartment and there are no controlers on the radiators so we are stuck with what comes through...also, we don't have screens on our windows or doors...we are forced to open them when it is 90 degrees in here...we had a squirel that got into our bedroom and destroyed a food basket gift we had wrapped...we asked the landlord if we were forced to open our windows and doors if he could at least put screens on them so that we do not get anymore possible rabid rodents and wild animals coming into our place and destroying our belongings...is there anyway we can get him to put screens on?...any help or advice would be greatly appreciated...thank you!!!...
