I would like to give each of my bridesmaids a personalized themed gift basket. I am having trouble finding recommendations for a Figure Skater themed option. Help please!
--------------------
I would say things like skate guards, blade covers, boot covers, skating themed jewelry, tights, gloves, hair accessories, leg warmers, car magnets, key chains, skating books, skating movies, skating (cups, mugs or water bottles), laces, lace pullers, skate passes, or sharpening passes. Jenskates is a great place to buy stuff or just get ideas. http://jenskates.com/index.asp Also Rainbo Sports. http://www.rainbosports.com/

What else should i put in this gift basket?
I have to make a secret santa gift basket, and i am going to make a couple loaves of french bread, and some garlic herb butter. The limit is $15, and most of the ingredients are stuff i have. What else could i make to put in the basket?
--------------------
Pick and choose from this list: Olive oil, put in a pretty bottle with whole spices, or just a bottle off the shelf. Parmesan cheese a pastry brush and/or a small cheese grater a can of oregano a cute tea towel or pot holder, perhaps with a Italian theme a jar of pasta sauce pasta, like a box of lasagna noodles a red green and white bow for the outside of the basket, like the colors of the Italian flag Can I be your recipient?

What is the best idea for a gift for an elementary school teacher?
i have a daughter in kindergarten and a daughter in first grade i would like to give both their teacher something they would really appreciate not just an apple or something i thought about making school supply gift baskets but i dont know how much they need extra school supplies. any ideas?????
--------------------
Generally speaking, teachers appreciate any gift. We do not expect gifts from parents, so when they are received, its the classic "It's the thought that counts". Usually, the school will supply school supplies, so while its a nice thought, it's not necessary. I think most teachers drink coffee (myself included), so maybe some gourmet coffee samples might be nice and not terribly expensive? Also, ask your daughters what your teachers like. Some may mention things like "I have a dog at home" or "I like to run". Maybe your kids could do some spying for you.

Birthday gift basket theme ideas for my mom?
I am thinking about making a themed gift basket for my mom for her birthday and the only two ideas I have came up with are a pamper yourself basket or a movie night basket. I have some ideas of what to put into each, but just looking for other ideas from you guys on what could go into each basket and also what other basket ideas do you have or have personally done or recieved! Thanks so much.
--------------------
I have made a lot of baskets professionally and personally. Pamper and Movies are a very popular theme. I think the key is in what you put in it and how well you theme it. For example - Pamper Basket Typical items such as lotions, scrubs, etc Tools - loofahs, bath brushes, toe separators etc Soothing Scented Candles CD of relaxation music Chocolate or herbal teas Bath Pillow, towels Pedicure items a fun book or magazine to read in the tub The key is the container as well - get creative - baskets are hardly ever reused unless very nice. Try something useful such as a pretty bathroom trash bin, a foot spa tub Movie Baskets a super fun! I try to include the persons favorite things Candy, nuts, beverages, and of course popcorn. Popcorn can be the popping bags, or gourmet pre made such as chocolate covered. Popcorn toppings such as cheese Movie tickets Dvd's of fav movies (can even theme such as girly movies and include tissues) Include a snuggling blanket for curling up on the couch A book the movie was based on Getting creative with containers on this theme is great too, such as a big popcorn bowl and include the indvidual popcorn cups. A few other popular baskets I do are: Tea basket - with tea pot and cups, teas, cookies etc on a tea tray Coffee lovers, coffee or cappuccino cups, coffees, flavored stirrers etc Chocolate theme - all things chocolate with a fun "chocoholic gift item" Italian theme - in a large metal strainer or pasta bowl - all the trimming for an italian night, pastas, sauces, oils, kitchen tools, towels, bread sticks, cook book etc Breakfast theme, all the breakfast fixing, pancake mix, muffin mix, kitchen tools, syrups etc with a nice griddle Game Night - board and card games, snacks, couch blanket etc Casino night (great if you have a casino near you) vegas themed items, coins/ money for gambling, tickets to a show or dinner at casino etc Hope this helps some, if you come up a set plan let me know, I can offer lost more suggestions

Send a small gift basket addressed to the assistant to the senior partner of....every other law firm in your phone book. So, if the firm is named "smith, smith and jones attorneys at law" you address the basket to THE ASSISTANT TO ATTY SMITH. Let them fight out which smith it was sent to! Make sure you only have one brief letter of introduction folded witrh infor facin out, a brochure stlye, Announcing a new local business with YOU and YOUR needs in mind......located...open...fax phone and email address.....price list available.....when you don't have time to shop but you need to show you care like you have time for nothing else...... several cards. a coupon for a little off AND a pair of slippers, packs of cocoa and coffee and chocolate, a muffin or a cookie sample but keep it chocolate or coffee flavored and lots of curly ribbons to make it look rich. Have it delivered by someone other than yourself, looking professional and carrying a clipboard. I know it sounds stupid but this works. It starts a buzz in a close knit community and puts your card, your sample product in the hands of people who can afford it and have NO time to shop. You can't do this all at once but maybe you set a total limit of promos a month and be sure to photograph a promo basket and its content laid out with brochures, cards and letters of introduction and file the photo and detailed description with the book keeping page that lists when and to whom you sent each one. You need to document your expenses for the IRS and it makes you look like you know what you are doing if you are ever audited or if in future you want to franchise your business. Set a limit of TEN baskets per profession. For example, after the lawyers assistants, go on to the assistant to the head of a medical or dental firm. Don't forget construction contractors and investment bankers. Approcah other companies in your area with a sample basket and FOR A PRICE (that defrays your COST by half at least) you will either include their coupons, brochures and cards in an upcoming delivery with a maximum of four companies per basket OR for a fee that is your cost plus cost of delivery ONLY, you will send sample baskets to their client list in town. This is good business because in the first scenario, four people pay half the cost which means you made a profit and can afford to deliver and smile and put you note card in so people receiving know where to find you too. In the second scenario, you just got a client to pay you to do some tasty sweet marketing at theior cost entirely and you still get to put your card on the basket when you deliver it.

Does anyone have cute babyshower gift basket ideas for a cowboy theme?
My best friend is having a baby shower soon. I am trying to figure out a cute and not too too expensive gift basket idea filled with things she will need.
--------------------
I would get a basket and put a kids cowboy hat in it along with lots of baby essentials. To add to the cute factor, maybe put a couple of bottles in a set of kid's toy holsters. You could maybe put the holsters around the outside of the basket. Those are pretty cheap and will be super cute!

Have you tried Target? I can't leave that store without purchasing some of the items you mentioned! They have a terrific sample size section that usually has lots to choose from, too. Also, dollar or 99 cents stores are good places to find cosmetics, bubble baths, etc. They may even carry the basket, tissue paper, and ribbons you'll need. I once found everything I needed for a sick girl in the hospital for $13 in a "dollar" store ~ lip glosses, bubble gum, jelly candies, latex balloon, basket, ribbon, pink bunny, etc., and she LOVED it!

What are good ideas to put in a gift basket for a friend that is sad?
My friend's boyfriend is leaving and I am putting together a gift basket for her...tissues, movies, chocolates, popcorn....any other ideas?

how about a book of inspirational quotes about friendship. They have some great small books at places like Dollar Tree (if you have one of those). Also a small pretty photo book that she can keep a collection of their photo's in. Maybe two, one for her to keep and one for him to take. How about some friendship coupons, like good for a girls day out, good for a ice cream cone, good for a day of shopping. If you have a printer, you can make these yourself. (I will include a link at the bottom). Lotions, soaps, and body sprays always make great add ins. Hope this helps to cheer her! http://www.bluemountain.com/cnp/cpsearch

What would be good things to put in a bed & breakfast gift basket for a silent auction?
My school is haveing a silent auction & we have to make a bed & breakfast themed gift basket. Please write your ideas of what we should put in it.
--------------------
Luxurious bath items are a good idea, but I'd avoid pre-scented ones as some people are allergic to fragrances. Buy some unscented bath gel or liquid castile soap. (I use Dr. Bronner's peppermint castile soap myself, which makes a great shampoo too. If you can't find either or can't wait for it to be shipped, you can shave a bar of hypo-allergenic or unscented glycerin, cocoa butter or coconut oil soap into flakes and mix them with warm water; see link below). You'll want to package the bath gel or liquid soap in screw-top bottles that hold about 4oz each with room to add essential oil and be able to shake the bottle to combine the oil well. Then include 2 to 4 vials of essential oils, and a card explaining that a few drops can be added to the soap for a custom scent. Common essential oils that may incite a skin reaction on sensitive skin include basil, bay, birch, black pepper, cassia, cinnamon, citronella, clove, costus, cumin, fennel, fir, geranium, ginger, lemongrass, lemon verbena, melissa, myrrh, oak moss, oregano, parsley, peppermint, pimento berry, pine, wintergreen and all citrus oils (grapefruit, lime, orange etc.); these should be avoided. Essential oils not on that list that work well in bath products include bergamot mint (not bergamot, which is a citrus oil, this is a mild herb in the mint family with a bergamot-like aroma), catnip (another mild mint unlikely to trigger allergies), chamomile, eucalyptus, jasmine, lavender, lemon balm, linden, mullein, rose, vanilla, violet and ylang ylang. You might want to avoid "flowery" or "girly" scents in case the winning bidder is male or intends to give the basket to a guy or a (straight) couple; "unisex" scents include allspice, balsam, cardamom, cedar, hyssop, juniper, marjoram, neroli, nutmeg, rosemary, sage, sandalwood, thyme and vetiver. To go with the liquid soap, you can include a bottle of unscented / hypoallergenic hand lotion, body oil (mineral or almond oil), shampoo and/or hair conditioner, which can be scented with the essential oils the same way. (Some bath gel is suitable for both hair and body use.) You may be able to find attractive matching empty bottles to repackage all these liquid products in, and hand-lettered labels make a nice, B&B-style touch. The essential oils can be added by the auction winner to any of these products as well as the liquid soap, too. You might also include either a large, plush washcloth -- a big enough one can double as the basket liner -- or a loofah, natural sponge or "bath puff". (You may hear that natural sponges and loofahs go moldy, but I've had one of each for 9 years without them molding or wearing out, even in a humid climate.) Other items that would complement the soaps and oils/lotions could include bath salts, body powder, a nail-scrubbing brush or a pumice stone. In addition to (or instead of!) bath products for the B&B basket, you could put in things for the bed and/or things for breakfast. Suitable bed gifts could include a potpourri sachet (a fabric bag of herbs like lavender or chamomile to go under the pillow or between the sheets), a soft mask for blocking light out, or 2-4 high-thread-count (at least 500-count) or microfiber pillowcases. The suggestions for "pillow" chocolates or mints were also good, and many stores sell individually wrapped elegant candies. For the breakfast element, you could include 1 or 2 mugs along with a selection of teas (try to include some herbal and some with caffeine, but nicer blends such as Darjeeling, Earl Grey or a green or white tea) and some of those single-serving coffees that are in a teabag-like filter. Premium hot chocolate packets are also nice, but avoid powdered instant coffees. You could also include some tea biscuit-type cookies. Another nice touch for breakfast would be some gourmet jam (especially homemade; I don't make jam myself but buy it at my local farmer's market) and/or honey. Raw local wildflower honey or a fancy variety like eucalyptus, heather or tupelo, or a spreadable honey, are all nice "special" alternatives to regular clover honey. Local ingredients are great for the bed and breakfast theme since many B&Bs use local products for their guests. On that note, any specialty in your area can go in the basket. In New England that might be a small box of maple-sugar candy, in Alaska it might be birch syrup or salmonberry jam, in New Mexico it might be smoked chiles. Supporting local businesses always helps your community, and some may even donate products if they know it's for a charity auction. Hope this helped -- and good luck with your school auction!

Happy Anniversary! You didn't say how old you two are, but I suspect that you're still in your teens. So what do teens like? Salt, sugar, and fat! Here are some ideas: 1. Chips and salsa or dip 2. Popcorn that you pop in the microwave 3. Beef Jerkey, or if you have the dough, buy some salami and cheese 4. Candy: Reeses' cups, sourpatch kids, hershey bars, laffytaffy Dots, Malted Milk Balls, Raisinettes (you can often get 2 for the price of one) 5. Your favorite soft drink or sparkling cider 6. A gift book you make yourself with coupons he can redeem when he wants, such as "Good for one free kiss" or "Good for one free back rub". Use your imagination and have fun! 7. Have someone take a couple of polaroids of you and buy an inexpensive frame for them. They make a nice addition! Have fun!

How about "Nifty Gifts"? Definitely DO NOT use any fancy writing that is difficult to read (such as flowery calligraphy) for your signage, gift cards or advertising. Keep things simple, keep the quality of your product high and you will succeed. Good Luck and Bless You!!!

I am making a gift basket for someone who likes to hunt and fish. What types of things should I used? Also, what type of container should I use?

As Tim said.. a cooler would be good.... There is also a 5 gallon bucket with a seat on top that is camo that is pretty nice to have.... that would also be kind of cute... or get a camo backpack and fill it up with goodies.... you can use hand and foot warmers, gloves, fishing lures, camo sunglasses, hat, shirt, batteries, flashlight, fishing light (the kind you put on your hat rim), ammo (if you know what kind of gun they have), warm socks, long underwear, binoculars, a first aide kit, fishing hooks, line, sinkers, small tackle box, artificial bait, thermos, calls, all of the scent-a-way products are good... you can get deodorant, soap, laundry detergent... ect... just walk around the hunting and fishing section of any store.... If it's for me I'll take a new gun ..... and a new bow.... and you can put them in my new camo truck....with a trailer and camo ATV.... I'll be very happy.... LOL...

What should I include in a Movie Night gift basket for a dieter?
My friend has asked for a Blockbuster gift card for her birthday. I thought it would be fun to put together a movie night gift basket, but those mostly contain popcorn and candy and she is trying to lose weight after having a baby. I will still probably include some popcorn, but what are some other creative things besides a lot of candy?
--------------------
Salted popcorn (it's much better for you than sweet), a fitness DVD and a horror movie (to take her mind off the weight loss!)

Any good place to get a diabetic gift basket?
I want to get my grandmother a gift basket for valentine's day but she's diabetic. I would hate it if she has to see all the goodies and unable to eat them.
--------------------
How thoughtful of you! I wish I had a grandchild like you. Yes, it's hard for diabetics especially when you see all the tempting goodies in a gift basket. A sugar free diabetic gift basket is certainly a good way to convey your love and thoughtfulness for her. My mother is a diabetic. I know how hard it is.

What else should I get my friend for a graduation gift?
My friend's grad party is Sunday and for her gift I got her this big pimp cup she's been wanting for so long. But I don't think that's enough of a gift especially considering what I got some of our other friends as gift when they graduated last year (gift baskets, college starter kits). She said she has too many things for her room, and doesn't want cash or gift cards. So any ideas of what else to get her?

That's pretty much it.

Christmas Gift baskets?
If you were to get a christmas gift basket, what would you want in it. I need some ideas (for females) ex:lotions, bath soaps.....? i need more ideas. Also how much would it cost to ship a gift basket? Do they put it in a box? lol
--------------------
You can find your own box or buy one from the post office or office supply store like Office Depot/Office Max/Staples. IMHO gift baskets are too busy. Just give one gift like a bath soap set, collection of lotions, etc.

What would you put in a romantic gift basket for two?
I'm in charge of my friend's bachlorette gift and I had a great idea to make a romantic gift basket for two. So far, I have bubble bath products and some lingerie for her to wear, but what else can I add?
--------------------
Great Idea! I would suggest for the guy that you put in some aftershave or a sport related thing (e.g a pack of golf balls if he likes golf) and maybe his and her mugs. Also, his and her towels and face clothes can be cute. And don't forget, A large expensive bar of chocolate for both of them Hoope I helped :-)

How do I choose a reputable company to send a gift basket in Australia?
I need to order a gift basket for an Australian client. I want to choose a good company and a nice basket. But I want to make sure it gets there and it is nice. Also I don't want my credit card number to be in jeopardy.
