anyone know where i can get a cheap baby gift basket?
my cousins babyshower is coming up and i thought it would b a good idea 2 get her a gift basket bc it has so much stuff n it but im low on money so im looking for a place that has cheap baskets

Someone gave me a plastic laundry basket filled with tons of baby stuff at my baby shower. Get creative. There are lots of inexpensive ideas to fill it with. Even the dollar store or WalMart has stuff to put in it. I was surprised at some of the stuff you could get at the dollar store! For instance, baby hangers, formula dispensers, wipes, plastic bags to put dirty diapers in, hand sanitizer, binkies, wash cloths, etc. And you could include a few other necessities too from other stores like Target or WalMart. I think it's the best idea. You could even throw in something little for Mom, like a candle or better yet... Chocolate... YUM!

Years ago when you went to someone's new house you brought a gift. A basket with salt/bread etc.?

Well of course I know what a gift basket is and how to make one. I wanted to make a small one for my friends but in a nice bag. What is a good way to make halloween gift bags without spending a fortune? usually candy around this time is cheap right? how can I make the actual bag myself?

How can I find Valentine Baskets wholesalers?
I am interested in shopping for Valentine baskets and gift items at wholesale prices in Florida but I do not live there and do not have a directory. I am leaving on the shopping trip on Saturday(11/01/08) and want to visit other places besides the traditional- Walmart etc. The baskets can be prepared ones or empty so that I can put in the gift items. Is it totally bad etiquette to buy a gift for someone and buy the same thing for yourself too?
Let's say you buy a friend a shirt that you really like too. Is it wrong to buy the same style of shirt for yourself even if it's in a different color?
