So my friend's birthday is coming up, she's turning 14 and we've been best friends for years. We're both really obsessed with nevershoutnever/Christofer Drew. We're seeing him in concert a few days after her birthday. (Hers is aug 6 mines aug 8) So i thought i'd get her a signed Christofer drew/nevershoutnever poster, a nevershoutnever t shirt, and a big gift basket with a bunch of her favourite things. Does that sound like not enough? too much? or does it sound good? oh and Christofer drew always wears tons of bracelets, as do we, so i figured i'd make her some cool hemp bracelets in the gift basket. I am going to also get her a membership to this book of the month club, but I wanted something a little more personal that is... cheap, yes I said it, cheap, but still nice and pretty. Valentines day gift for my boyfriend?

Valentines day is less then a week away actually its in 3 days and i still don't have a gift for my boyfriend and i would like help. my boyfriend is 17 years old, he like basketball and video games but i wouldn't get him i video game (here's another video game so we can not spend time together =S ) i wouldn't get him a game, clothes, collogne, or anything like that i was thinking maybe i should get him flowers, a teddy bear some chocolate and some home made cookies because he has a real sweet tooth, but i don't know if that's what guys want or like. also i wanted to make him some origami hearts and flowers but i cant find any easy flowers to make so if someone know a link that would be nice. also i wanted to know if there are any valentines day activity's that would be good to do. i was think ice skating, dinner and a movie. but i don't know if that's a good idea so to sum it i need a good idea for a gift basket and something to do with him on valentines day PLEASE and THANK YOU. <3 =) p.s i hope you all have a good valentines day and thank you again for all your time and help.

every valentines day i make my boyfriend a basket of his favorite things; candy, snacks, drinks, dvds, books, clothes, video games, picture of us, random valentines stuff, and anything he's been talking about that he needs or wants. he loves it! also cook him dinner/dessert or take him to his favorite place to eat.

We are giving out thank-you gifts the night before our wedding at our rehearsal dinner. For my dad, I would like to put together a gift basket of barbecue sauces across the nation (or even around the world!) My dad loves grilling and barbecue, so I thought it would be neat to give him sauces that he's "missing out on" by not knowing about them. We're from Texas, so barbecue is a huge thing for us, but I'd really love suggestions for great barbecue sauce. Homemade gift ideas for boyfriend?

I'm wanting to make a few things for my boyfriend.. however I'm having a little trouble with making them not too cheesy, and trying to make them a little more manly, but keeping the personal touch at the same time :/ Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do? Guys like food. Homemade cookies. Just put them in a zip lock bag. They really don't care about all the "girlie" frills of stuff. Try to think like a guy. A picture of the two of you together and framed nicely is a good gift too. Making a dinner of his favorite food is great.

Gift Basket theme ideas...?

I am helping to chair an event which is hosted by our preschool. It is a Jewish preschool and is a bingo night fundraiser. It is always very successful and a big part of it is a raffle for several baskets which are put together by the parents of the different preschool classes. We usually ask each class to work around a theme. I'm looking for some new theme ideas...in the past we've used movie night, game night, Shabbat dinner, etc. as some themes. This yr. I thought of scrapbooking, bathtime/skin care....any ideas?

Charlene is right. A lot of the dollar stores have a good selection but Micheals is another place to look. Add a craft kit to the hamper . If your friend likes jewellry or knitting etc, a kit has everything you need all in one package. There are some great crossword puzzles around now too. Where do I begin? I want to leave my job and start a few home businesses.?

Wow, one thing at a time please? lol. It most certainly is a good idea to start your own business, but you definitely have to take a lot of factors into consideration. Can you do without the security of a regular paying job? Can you multitask? Manage your finances, marketing, "operations", etc... all by yourself? Or can you afford to hire someone to do it for you? Also, do you seriously think U can manage a day care center, gift baskets and graphic design all at the same time? If the answer to all the above questions is yes, then yep, you should go ahead and venture into the world of being your own boss. Don't let me scare you off the path of self reliance, I just feel you need to give it a really good thought before you decide to jump into it. Also about starting all three things at once? Don't you think its like biting off more than you can chew? If I were you I'd take things one step at a time. Do some market research, find out if there is a good demand for gift baskets, of if there are a lot of busy parents around who'd want to leave their kids with you, or if you can find enough clients for your graphic designing services. Only then should you consider leaving your job. Once you have decided that you do want to leave your job and that whatever venture you have decided to pursue is financially viable, you can seek help from various small business associations to help you get your feet on the ground. my girlfriend bought a bunch of cloths for my daughter and put them on a cloths line with cloths pins and then laid them in a tall hamper with a note on the end of the line that said "pull slowly" It was amazing! She went way over board and the line stretched about 50 feet long. It was the hit of our shower. So our gift was a cute pink hamper and a ton of cloths. I am not a fan of the diaper cakes because we didn't like the diapers and I ended up not using them at all.

Mothers Day Gift(Moms Please Help)?

I'm putting together a gift basket for my mom for mothers day. I want to do a spa/relaxation theme for it. What are some ideas for some unique goodies to put in the basket. I am already thinking candles and such but I also need to ideas of a good relaxing scent. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also any other ideas for the rest of the day would also be great.

For scents I offer something like apple spice or anthing with a nice crisp smell. A good body mist if you would like to try and find it is Blissful. It's really good but I can't find it around here anymore. If you want to do something special for your mother on her day then you could take her to her favorite places or something my brother and I did was when our mother and father were out for the night, we took some of her things she had forgotten about and hid hem around the house. Then we left her a series of clue to find each piece. So maybe take your mom out for the day and then make her avorite dinner maybe and serve her that night. Or turn it into a total comedy so it will be remembered! :) As my card from me to my mom says; It's mothers day and thanks for your adivce! I never change horses in the middle of a job worth doing, I know the squeaky whell gets the worm, I never count my chickens before I walk a mile in their shoes, I remember that actions speak louder than a bird in the bush, I never throw good money before my own two feet, and I always count to ten before I catch my death of cold. What do you buy a 2 year old that has everything?

I have a family friend who has bought my daughter soo much stuff for my baby shower, her birth, and her first birthday. I'm talking hundreds of dollars at a time. I certainly appreciate it, and would like to repay it back at her daughters occasions, but I can in no way afford it. Her daughters 2nd birthday is coming up, and I don't know what to get her. She literally has everything a girl could want. I would like to get her something relatively big, a preschool gift basket of some sort maybe. I don't know what 2 year old need.

wow thats a toughy! I used to be a nanny for very well off people and it was the same thing! But in the cuboards stored away there were hundreds of gifts for them still wrapped from years ago! I know that you want your friends approval or maybe shes the type who would say to herself "wow thats better than the present I got her". But hey try and think of something she would reallllly enjoy, and think of you for. Sometimes the simplest things are so much more of a pleasure. My girl is two... and her FAVOURITE thing is this hanbag that she takes every where! theyre also really into copying what mum does. So maybe a tea set or pretend microwave, pots and pans. Theyre very into pretend play. If you go with the bag idea, buy a little toy phone, purse, note pad and pop some coins in there. Because it will garuantee to be a hit. Rather than some really expensive flashing ball throwing thing that will be a novelty for two weeks then loose intrest in.
