What's a good gift to give my dance teacher?

my dance teachers birthday is next week and my class was going to chip in and get her a gift basket type thing with little things for her...anyone got some more ideas as to what to get her? heres what we got so far: flowers, chocolate, a gift card, and cookies/fudge what else can i get her?
--------------------
order a flower boutique or gift basket off 1800 flowers or a candy gram delivery service. try the popcorn factory.com for ideas. if you order something like this, it can be delivered right to your teacher during class time or something and it won't be messed up and nobody will have to carry it to school. i know that a lot of specials are going on now.

Does this make a good gift for a teacher?

I am thinking of putting together a gift basket for my daughter's pre-k teachers. What I want to do is like a popcorn and movie gift basket. A popcorn tub for the basket and then a pack or two of like 3 different types of popcorn and a gift certificate to a movie rental store. So my question is if you are a teacher, would you enjoy a gift basket of this sort?
--------------------
I'm a teacher and would love that gift. Every teacher I have ever worked with would love that gift. It shows that you appreciate what we do and understand that we like to relax.

What region and exact location where the Indian Gift basket was found by archaeologist?

I`m doing an artifact about it, It`s due Tomorrow.
--------------------
Archaeologists have identified some Indian baskets artifacts being close to 8000 years old. A team of archaeologists, in eastern Snohomish County, in the State of Washington found a treasure trove of artifacts from the Olcott period, 4,500 to 9,000 years ago, including baskets, spear points, stone knives and scraping tools. I hope this helps. Regards, Warren

What are some items that I should put in a baby gift basket ?

I What things that will be used do moms actually use baby oil ? What the best products ?
--------------------
I have never used baby oil. It seems like it would be really greasy and messy! I do use a whole lot of baby lotion though. I use Johnson's brand and I put it on my daughter after her bath every night and every morning before I get her dressed. So that is definitely one thing you could put in a gift basket. Other ideas are: 1. diapers- Pampers Swaddlers are the best. They are very soft. 2. baby wipes- Pampers sensitive are great. 3. baby wash- again I like Johnson's brand 4. Diaper rash ointment- Desitin creamy is good 5. Vaseline- good for dry lips and dry nasal passages in newborns. Also good to use when baby poops as a protective skin barrier to prevent diaper rash. Oh and also good for lubricating baby rectal thermometers. 6. pacifiers- my daughter loves the Avent brand. Pacifiers also reduce the risk of SIDS. 7. baby brush and comb set 8. hooded towel and matching washcloth 9. baby first aid kit- you can buy them already made or you can make your own and include infant Tylenol, thermometer, baby nail clippers, nasal bulb suction, medicine dropper or syringe, baby sunscreen, Hyland's teething tablets, baby Orajel for teething, Neosporin antibiotic ointment, Mylicon gas drops. 10. teething toy 11. bibs and burpcloths 12. onesies 13. socks 14. something nice for mom such as a book about babies, good smelling lotion, warm socks, healthy snacks Have fun making your gift!

What do I put in a gift basket to make my friend feel better. HELP!?!?!?!?

My friend just found out that she has a brain tumour. I want to make her a gift basket of little things to help lift her mood. What should I put in it!?
--------------------
A soft toy she can cuddle when she's feeling low, a little prayer book, a little inspirational book of quotes or poems to lift her when she's alone, poems written by you and friends. There's boundless things you can put in your basket but what she won't forget is your love and kindness behind it.

Wedding gift ideas for someone who can buy anything they want?

We've got 2 weeks to come up with an idea for a gift. They've been on vacation for the past month, so a trip is out of the question. I'm thinking some monogram stuff such as towels, making a HUGE gift basket of candles and sensual stuff for them to relax with, but I just want to get an idea. One owns all the storage buildings in town and the other is a freakin model, they have a huge house, everything they need.....what do ya'll suggest?
--------------------
I like the idea of a wine, cheese and body massage oil basket. They could take it with them on their honeymoon or just enjoy it anytime. What I like is that it's something they can enjoy together.

I'm making a gift basket for my boyfriend for Christmas but I need ideas of what to put in it...?

I'm making a gift basket for my boyfriend for Christmas but I need ideas of what to put in it...? I've already decided on a pic of us, his favorite candy, his favorite cologne but what else?? He's 20 years old. Thanks! :)
--------------------
I would suggest stuff like gift cards, gadgets (look at think geek, they have some inexpensive quirky stuff that you won't find in a store), cologne, etc. If you haven't already picked up his cologne, check out Bella Fragrance, they have really low prices for perfumes and colognes. (That's where I buy from). Good Luck!!

Anyone know of a gift site where I can buy and have coffee and alcohol delivered?

Reason for this is I am sending this as a gift and the point of the gift is to be a joke for the coffee to be what wakes them up and alcohol what puts them to sleep. Obviously the joke works best when both gifts arrive at the same time so that's why I am trying to find a site delivers both. As far as the portions I want to send, I don't want to send a gift basket, maybe just a one pound bag of coffee and a bottle of liquor preferably rum. Any help is much appreciated.

My girlfriend is going back to school and I want to make her a back to school gift basket. Any great ideas?

I am trying to make this romantic, but fun at the same time. I can usually come up with some thoughtful ideas, but I am stumped on this. Thanks.
--------------------
Going to college, im guessing? Below are some ideas of items to put in the basket.... but on the bottom of the basket i would put her fave. wrapped candies and then heart confetti.....not really confetti, just get some computer paper or something, cut them into hearts that are about 2-3 inches big and write down funny/sweet things on them....like inside jokes or a reason y u like her or a random thought or a random memory..... heres what to put in the basket: 1. a bag of coffee with a tag attached "to help with those long nights of studying" 2. a bottle of vodka/rum/any type of alcohol with a tag "to help recover from those long nights of studying" lol or something cute to that effect 3. a cd of songs (romantic and funny) that will remind her of home/friends/ you/memories...doesnt have to be sentimental...it could be a really great song u guys heard at a club once... 4. have fun and put a cute thong in it with a note "ill be expecting this when you get back!" (nothing wrong with a little cute naughty gift) 5. an apple (since an apple a day keeps the doctor away....dont want her to get sick when shes away from school without you there to help comfort her!) 6. of course give her a pic in a frame of the 2 of you 7. bubble bath stuff-- she'll need it come finals! 8. a grocery store gift card.....that is like GOLD in college....! 9. a dvd of your fave movie/show to watch together 10. a compact mirror with "to remind you of how beautiful you are" written on top of the compact! its perfect bc she'll have it in her purse and its something she'll always use...and she'll be thinking of you everytime she uses it!

How do i wrap a gift basket? HELP!?

Okay..so i made a gift basket for my mom for xmas. How in the world do i wrap this? i dont want it to be some oddly shaped wrapped up basket.. and i dont want to use the clear paper that usually goes on baskets..i want the stuff to be a surprise.. should i use a box? do they sell empty boxes?
--------------------
You might be able to fit it into a big box, just a regular cardboard box and wrap it like that. Here is another suggestion... instead of using clear wrap over it, buy fabric. Or buy a blanket that you can also let her keep as a gift and put that over it using saftey pins. Or you can buy tulle (this is usually not that expensive) and use that. You can get different colors (red might hide the stuff enough that its still a surprise).

Ideas for homemade fall gift basket for neighbors?

I really want to make a nice fall themed gift basket for a few of my neighbors but I'm kind of stuck in the creative department....I was thinking baked goods. But what is synonymous for fall? I was thinking jam, maybe pumpkin seeds. And some desserts....maybe breads. I don't know...HELP!! Recipes would be appreciated too!
--------------------
-a baggie of salted pumpkin seeds with ribbon -chocolates? -some pumpkin muffins or carrot muffins -put some filler in the basket either than baked goods, like a little scarecrow or something -a pair of slipper socks for the cold weather coming near? -gift certificate -jam would be good, maybe not raspberry jam though, maybe something more seasonal like cranberry orange or something. -you could make cookies for desserts, or macaroons. sorry thats all i could think of, hope it helped! Just use lots of orange ribbons for that fall look!!

What to put in a Spa/bath Gift basket?

I am throwing my cousin a round the clock bridal shower. I have 9 PM and I was of doing a spa/bath gift basket. What items should I put in the basket? I also was going to make my own bath salts to put in the basket how would I make this and where do I buy the items at? Thanks!
--------------------
For the Bath Salts Recipes - epsom salts or sea salt, or both, and baking soda food coloring 1 or 2 teaspoons of glycerin per jar - optional, but glycerin is an effective skin moisturizer and a nice addition essential oils - mandarin orange, lavender, sandlewood, and patchouli I would also put in some candles, ppermint oil, a neck pillow and a cucmber . Maybe a cd of soft music and some comfy house shoes, or a robe.

I am looking for the gift basket for bridal shower, with different items and corresponding Bible verses?

One item was a rubber band and there was something about stretching and bouncing back, and the corresponding Bible verse that went with it... there was also a Band-Aid and it was about patching things up and healing wrongdoings, etc. Where can I find how to make it?
--------------------
I know the survival kit you need, but haven't yet found one with Bible verses - --- most are geared toward mothers, though, so you can adapt - On the inside put: a Starburst candy; a Hugs candy; a band-aid; a mini eraser; a puzzle piece; and a shiny penny. Attach a note that says: Sunday School Teachers Survival Kit - included in this box are items that will give you a little boost when you need it the most. A Starburst candy to give you a burst of energy when you are running on empty. A Hugs candy to let you know that a hug really can make a world a whole lot brighter. A band-aid for when the going gets rough. An eraser to remind you that Jesus has already erased even our largest mistakes. A puzzle piece to remind you that life as well as learning is a puzzle that should be handled with care. A shiny penny to remind you that each of your students will shine in their own special way. Here's a more generic one that can be used with volunteers and other non-teachers: You can decorate the tin the same way you did before, but change the contents to include: a mini eraser, a magnet, a marble, a penny, a rubber band, a piece of string, a Hugs candy, and a Kiss candy. Attach a little note that says Make Today Your Day Kit - included in this box are items that will help you live today and every day to it's fullest extent, as we were meant to live it. An eraser to remind you that Jesus has already wiped all your mistakes away. A magnet to help you pull love your way. A marble so that no one can ever say that you've lost your marbles. A penny so that you will never be broke. A rubber band to remind you that with Jesus you can stretch beyond your expectations. A piece of string to tie you and Jesus together in all parts of your life. A hug and a kiss to make your day as good as new, and to remind you that love makes the world go round. --- Bandaid to fix hurt feelings Button to button lips and count to 10 when angry Cotton swab to clean out little ears - for better listening Flower to remind you that the dandelion your child offers you is better than any bouquet Glitter for a glimpse of how the world looks thru the eyes of a child Hug&Kiss Candy to make everything alright Lifesaver for one of those days Marble for when you've lost yours Rubberband for when you are stretched beyond your limits Sweet/Sour Tarts to help you find the sweet in the sour times Toothpick to pick out the good in difficult situations Penny for your thoughts Pen & Journal to write down your thoughts Clock to remind you that time will pass by too quickly, enjoy every moment. Tissue to dry those alligator tears, the babies and yours. Fireball for times when you are burnt out Lollipop to lick all your problems Eraser to remind you that every Mom makes mistakes Puzzle Piece because you are an important piece in your child's journey through life. Starburst for energy Mirror to remind you to take time for yourself Jewel because Good mothers are a precious jewel to their family ----

making baked goods gift baskets?

I dont have a job im a senior in high school and I wanna start saving money for when I move out I plan to become a pastry chef what should I put in them what should the prices be? please help me and items sold individual prices
--------------------
Have a variety of products in each basket: a package of cookies, a quick bread, some tea cakes or sweet muffins. Check out what items like that sell for in supermarkets in your area and price yours slightly below that. Also, check with coffee shops and small lunch places to see if they'd like to sell your baked goods. That's a nice way to break into the bakery business. Good luck!
