How would you advertise this... WHAT SHOULD I WRITE???... Mothers' day is coming (May 13th, America) , please tell me, is this a good idea, I sell Avon and my brother gave me this idea... (He said it would work for the men who just don't know what to get... and the men who work too late to go shopping...) make gift baskets... and do a "build your own basket" or a "You pick the price" where you tell me what you want in the basket and I put it together. Buying local for Christmas?
Has anyone tried to keep a green Christmas by buying all presents from local businesses? As in locally produced - works of art, arts and crafts, music, gift baskets, wine, etc. Thought it would benefit the local artisans and keep the consumerism down this year. Would be hard with small children, but I was wondering if anyone had tried this, if for no other reason than to screw with the corporate commercialism or save on transportation of massive goods.

We also have a small book store which stocks kids' books written by a local author, so that helps with presents for the kids. I need Ideas for inexpensive christmas gifts. Tell me all your ideas.?
I just can't afford to spend to much money on gifts for my my family for christmas. There is Mom and Dad, it their 70's, who have everything they need or want. There is my nieces and nephews, who are in their 20's and married and own their own homes. Gift baskets seem a little impersonal, but I would would do it with a great idea. I know they are not going to skimp on me and my 15 year old daughter. I just don't want to look cheap. (or feel cheap). So give me your best craft or purchaes ideas that will be a hit at low prices. Send me anywhere, Ebay, Overstock, Dollar store, or craft store. Tell me some of your favorite all time gifts you received and loved and had a need for when you got them.

I'm looking for ideas for gifts for men in their 20's...?
I have 3 step-brothers and 2 brothers-in-law that I'm not real close to but do exchange gifts with at Christmas. gifts not delivered on time?
I order a number of gift baskets from a reputable company that I have used and trusted in the past. They guarenteed delivery by christmas when you order by a certain date. I ordered well within the time limit. its now 2 days after christmas and 2 of my gifts have not arrived. According to the tracking device the gifts are still in a city 300 miles away from their destination. It a four hour drive and they gifts have been at the fedex office since dec 23rd. Their guarentee said "we'll make it right" but wasn't any more specific. I have no idea how they would make it right and what I should expect. Does anyone know what happens in these situations? if they ask me what I want out of this what should I say or ask for? Is it reasonable to ask for a partial or full refund if they don't meet the guarentee. I already emailed the company to explain the situation.

Do 14 year old girls like pampering products for Christmas?
I drew my neice for a Christmas drawing and she is 14. For parents with young baby girls,what would you like the most for your baby's first birthday as a gift?
