For parents with young baby girls,what would you like the most for your baby's first birthday as a gift?

I plan to give a couple of dresses.Shes the first baby in the family,she's my niece and its her 1st bday and we cannot be there. Also I plan to give a personalized teddy and maybe even a toy. I cannot think of anything else.Please specify if you think of any toy that you would prefer. I am making a basket with the above,so clothes,toys,maybe a hairclip and matching baby earrings...what do you think? I hate gift cards and the idea of putting the money in a savings account for her etc....we want to give her something special... Please suggest Thanks

Well, I actually saw a video of me when i was one or two.... I was receiving my gifts. I got this beautiful soft blanket- That could work as a gift for your neice,& I still use mine to this day. It's so warm! I also got a barney that talks when you squeeze it's hand, I was thrilled! I hope I helped!(:
