What could I get my husband for fathers day from the kids?

My husband is a huge bass fisherman and I was wandering what the best fathers day gift would be. He has alot of stuff but I was looking for something that he could really use for fishing or some of the best lures so i could make him a basket from the kids

I'm wanting to make a gift basket for my mom for her birthday and I'm trying to think of what to put in it...she's into food, cooking, movies, music, those rare relaxing days... you get the idea... If you have any ideas on what should go in this basket, please share! thanks

i would get a nice wicker basket, maybe lined with a cotton or fabric. then inside it i would put a nice relaxing music cd. i would also look up a nice facial scrub you can make at home, like honey and oatmeal. i would make her one of those, and put it in a nice decorative glass jar you can pick up at convienience stores. maybe add some handpicked flowers tied with a ribbon. chocolate, everywoman loves chocolates, and a great gift wrap idea is a home made one. you need some wax paper, an iron, some flowers and a towel. place one sheet of waxed paper (waxed side up) on a bench, lay out the flowers on it as u like it, then put another wax paper (wax side down) on top (so both waxed sides are facing in), then carefully put a sheet over it or towel and iron, the wax will melt togther making your own paper! cool huh! real pretty too, you might wanna get some beads and make her a neclace, then wrap it up in flower paper, but you might have to press the flowers flat under a book for a few hours before you do this, and dont do it too early, otherwise the flowers will die out after a few days. you might wanna make her some chocolate slices or brownies, this is a nice touch too.

We are going on our honeymmon on the 25th of Oct. to disneyworld. I would like to have something special delivered to our room like a gift basket etc. Can anybody give me ideas of what to get or should it just be a generic basket from a local company.

I used to work for the Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin Hotel. Disney Corporation can do ANYTHING you imagine. If you are staying at a Disney Hotel, the concierge will have NO PROBLEM putting together a Disney gift basket to be delivered. They do amazing things! Do not go to a generic company, its your honeymoon! Make the theme of your honeymoon Disney (eventhough some parts are not going to be G rated). Get a Disney Gift Basket with disney chocolates in it, and maybe also one with some flowers. I cannot tell you how helpful the Disney "imagineers" (thats what they are called) are. Hope it helps! Let me know if you need more ideas. I just moved out of Orlando recently but I know what the Disney people can do.

OK so my cousin is turning 18 this weekend and I thought it would be cool if I made her a basket of 18 things an 18 year old must have. (I recieved a similar basket for my 21st birthday.) Appropriate thank you gift for immigration lawyer?

My immigration lawyer has been very helpful in processing my green card. Next week, I'll have my interview and hopefully my status will be approved. My husband and I are just college students, but we would still like to give a meaningful and wonderful thank you gift. My budget would be about $100. I was thinking to give her a box of gourmet chocolate, but I'm not sure what her diet restriction is. She seems to be a very fit and sophisticated person. I have some options in my mind, but I'm not sure if they're appropriate: a crystal figurine from Swarovski, a gift certificate to one of the city's best spa, fruit basket, a box of goodies from L'Occitane. My husband thinks they're too "weird", but not give any input ... Any other ideas?

I've dealt with immigration lawyers before, and I've never felt a reason to give them a present at all. The present they received was being extremely overpaid just to put together a few papers, or pass it on to their assistants. That's cool that they made that good of an impression on you, though. Thing is, they're not expecting anything from you but that big check. So anything you give them will do...probably something that will last, that they can put on their desk would work. So the crystal figurine would be cool.

Items that Reduce Stress?

I'm looking for items that reduce the stress in our lives either by helping us vent or simplifiing tasks. Examples: Key finders, stress balls, pocket notepads, etc. I want to buy inexpensive items for a man that would help him in his daily life (such as the key finders) and help him de-stress during the day and put it together for a gift basket. Do You Think My Husband Will Like His Birthday Gift?

My Husband just turned 31 yesterday and I HAD to attend a wedding that took ALL DAY and he is out of town until Monday, so I missed his birthday. In fact, we hardly spoke at all yesterday, we were both very busy. Well, I thought I should make it up to him and get him a really great gift. I'm planning on getting making him a basket full of his favorite things. For example, his favorite energy drinks, candies, an oil burner (he really likes mine, so i thought he'd like one for his office), more gages, maybe an itunes card, ect. (he's really just a big kid at heart) And I wanted to bake him cupcakes and spell out happy birthday or something. Gift for my groomer and her employees?

My great groomer of several years. Private groomer in her own shop connected to her home. She really is superior and knows her stuff. It's her and her daughter and one employee all women. I was thinking of a bath and body works gift card for each one but I don't like it that there is a dollar amount on the card - seems "vulgar" to me. Then I was thinking of a gift for all three such as several wrapped candles in a one basket. I just don't know what to get. The gift cards would have been 15 each for each one- 45 total so thats around the amount I can afford to spend around 50. But then again everyone doesn't like candles or every candle scent. I'm just burnt out lately and need ideas. Thanks. Proud mom to two shih tzu one shih tzu mix.

What's the best way to create an "Easter basket" without using . . . ?

. . . an actual basket? I play Easter Bunny for my partner each year and put out a basket with a lot of candy the night before Easter. I've got the candy already [lots of chocolate], but would like to do something different than just load it into a basket. Do you have any suggestions? I thought of perhaps getting a variety of plain pastel gift bags [the ones that are like lunch bags] and using a grouping of four or five of them, or perhaps just putting the candy in small lots in various places around the house. Do you have any clever ideas?

i like to dress festively when i go out on the town, but the problem is that my headdress attracts fruit flies. i've tried netting, and even plastic wrap to give it that 'gift basket' flair, but nothing seems to work and my husband is insisting i switch to a more subdued head gear. what should i do?

Help with a gift for an 18 year old girl for her birthday?

I'm going out with a girl but nothing too official. Her 18th Birthday is coming up and I want to get her a memorable gift. I know that she likes things like fairies and stuff. She also likes things with crosses, moons and suns. She likes goth-ish and tribal-ish stuff. And she's a belly dancer. This is kind of a double question. First is, what should I get her? Second, I already have something in mind but I want to know if it's good, when I ask my friends if it's a good idea they say no because it's sounds more like a valentines day gift. I was thinking of getting her a basket with a big stuffed animal, some blue roses(her favorite flower) some Godiva chocolate(she loves chocolate) and her favorite perfume. I wanted to wrap the basket with a white veil like the ones that belly dancers use, instead of that crappy clear plastic they use. And perhaps throw something else in there in the mix like a Swarovsky necklace. I considered Jewelry but that's like girlfriend type of gift.

Coincidence? Or are we meant to be together?

We were both born the same day, same year. We did this thing for this class to get to know eachother and he got Prince Charming...Guess who I got? Yep, Cinderella lol Our principal gave a speech at the end of the year in the 8th grade, and he mentioned me and him in the same sentence...Saying ____ and ____ are graceful pianests. And he didnt mention anyone elses name in the speech but ours. We had this concert today, and it was themed in the 20's, and he walked by and looked at me and my friend said that when he looked at me that she KNEW that he liked me. My other guy friend who is also his friend said this: He told me he knew he liked me, and I asked how. And my guy friend answered "Just...the way he looks at you" And tonight, our parents won gift baskets out of all 4 baskets, and all 150 people there, they won. And it was the baskets that they brought stuff in for. Like, our last names determined what we'd bring in. And our parents won the baskets we brought stuff in for. Are these just coincidences? Or are they God's ways of staying anonymous? Are we supposed to be togeether? I've been hoping to have something happen since the 5th grade...it almost did. But we havent been together yet. And now we're both 15.
