Deer hunters gift basket?

I find that the guys in this section are knowledgeable and great for helping me find gifts so heres a new one: For christmas I always put together some kind of gift basket/box of small gifts for my fiance. This year I want to get him a hunting/fishing one. I am going to get him a subscription to Deer and Deer Hunting magazine (I heard that was one of the best) but I dont know what other smaller, yet not high priced things to put into that basket. He likes realtree and white tail hunting. I was thinking of getting him nice hunting gloves but dont know what to look for? A gift card isn't really the best idea, you would have to know him to get why haha. Oh, and I have a Cabelas 40 mins from me so I will most likely be heading there for most of the gifts.

The best place for you to find stuff like this is walmart. I do 90$ of my hunting shopping there because the stuff is cheap. The best advice I can give you is to go there and look. Most of the little essentials are under ten dollars. You can do the same thing for fishing, but it will be cheaper. Al the fishing stuff is on clearance and on sale since most people don't fish during the winter.

Im making a gift basket for a gift exchange and i dont know what to put in it?

I have a gift exchange at school and my limit is $5 im making a gift basket.I have an idea in mind though.Im going to put in a christmas stuffed animal, a christmas bulb, and thats as far as ive got. I need to make this as good as a gift basket as i can but it needa to be under $5 if you have ideas for what else to put in my basket please tell me! If you do have an idea it has to be inexpensive and christmas related! I am in 5th grade so that kind of kiddy stuff. My gift is for a girl!

Gift Basket Idea for Job Placement Worker?

I want to get a gift for a lady who helps dental workers to get temporary jobs. I was thinking of making a gift basket with office stuff in it like pens, staplers, Post Its, notebook paper, etc, but I think she might have all that. I don't know her very well unfortunately. I was thinking maybe I should just go generic and put together a movie package type of gift basket with popcorn, tea bags, crackers, and some movies that I copied, although that idea might seem kind of cheap. Some movie ideas would be great as well. I was thinking of giving her a copy of Kung Fu Panda, and some IMAX movies.

Ok, so, i know i'm starting this a little early, but.. anyway.. our 7 month anniversary is December 24th, and i want to make him a huge gift basket. His family never really had a big christmas..so he never really got a lot of gifts... but my family, on the other hand, has always had a huge christmas. and we are engaged now, and this will be our first christmas together, and i want to make him a HUGE gift basket! I've seen (now I live in Texas) nice "Mexican Hat' bowls where you put the salsa inside and the chips surrounding the salsa. They are a bit big for a cute little bag, tho. You can try tortillas or a special brand of a small bag of chips. Guacamole or a nice pita breads would be good, too. I've seen hundreds of reasons to eat salsa. My son in law eats it on eggs for breakfast and steak with dinner. Even GRITS! (Gotta love Texas). How about a nice recipe for a 7 layer salad or enchiladas with a cream sauce? Just getting hungry.

I know this is scented, but you could try organic or hand made soaps, there are some stores that have really nice ones. You could try desert toppings (like really nice chocolate or mango topping). A small parstle of more expensive chocolates from a choc place. Some jewellery, earrings, bracelette, necklace. A gift voucher or CD etc Something homemade (cookies/card/art etc) Bottle of wine or champagne or other drink. Something to compliment the glasses, like plates, candles or cocktail mixer drinks (in sachets) that can be used with the glasses. Bath stuff, like a robe. If she is into toys, like teddy bears, Look around there are some nice ones.

Thoughtful gift basket? ive done this question before and was hoping to get some more ideas. i want to do a gift basket for my dad. Things that remind me of him and what he has done for me. some that i have right now chocolate kisses for his kisses pennies for all the sense he has given me lifesaver because he is one starburst because he is a burst of energy bandaids when he was there for me when i was hurt mini tissues for when i was crying nuts for all the crazy times weve had frame of us gloves for him protecting me and being warm eraser to forget all the silly arguments candle so i can always find my way back home quarters to stay in touch (even though im a freshman in high school) batteries because he keeps me going tools because he always keeps me going watch for all the times weve spent together Does anyone have any more ideas? i just want to get a few more please and thank you :)

Can't help you with where to shop as I am in the US but your idea is very cute. Since she is 16 you might consider adding something cosmetic. Add products that let her do a facial or some lotion. She should be very happy....I'd love to receive that basket myself!

I bought my wife a Bath Products Gift Basket, now she won't leave the bathroom!?

For Christmas I got my wife a bath and beauty gift basket, with over 50 various products like gel, fizzy balls, bubble bath, a bath pillow and candle, etc.... NOW SHE WON'T EVER GET OUT! She takes an hour long bath every day, sometimes twice a day. And it's the only bathroom in the house. What can I do?

Be happy you got her a gift she really, really likes. Instead of complaining, go in there with her. You might discover it is a really nice way to spend an hour of your day. I love nothing more than to run a bubblebath and relax with my hubby in it for awhile. Have fun!

How to get a tight fit wrap with cellophane..?

I am making gift baskets for christmas... When I am done and ready to wrap the baskets I want to use cellophane. how do I get it tight around the baskets? Almost like shrinking it? Can I use a blow dryer? Or Do I have to buy the real thing? Any help or suggestions are welcome!

You have to use the special "shrink wrap" style of cellowrap to make that work and it's really not that expensive. I think a roll runs around $4 and if I'm recalling correctly, I managed to wrap about 8 small food baskets with that. Of course, what we do for dinner auctions at our school is to buy clear cellowrap with a bit of an holiday image on it and wrap the items that way. For a 12 x 12 items (for example) you cut a sheet that measures 24 x 24. Place the item in the middle of the cellowrap, gather up the sides and bunch them in the middle above the item, and then tie up with a pretty holiday ribbon. I personally think this is much more decorative then using shrink wrap :)

You could make a really nice breakfast/brunch basket. With the amount of money you have you could put a bunch of things in it - jams & jellies, pancake and waffle mix, real maple syrup, an apron, tea towels, mugs & and matching dishes, a waffle iron, oven mitts, coffee and tea selection, and maybe even a subscription to your local Sunday paper. I love to stay in Sunday, make a pot of coffee and some breakfast, and read the paper. Hope this helps!
