I WAS THINKING ABOUT MAKING SALSA IN A NICE JAR AND MAKING A GIFT BASKET FOR XMAS??? IS THIS LAME? ALSO, WHAT WOULD YOU PUT IN THE BASKET...CHIPS???????BOWLS, ETC?

I've seen (now I live in Texas) nice "Mexican Hat' bowls where you put the salsa inside and the chips surrounding the salsa. They are a bit big for a cute little bag, tho. You can try tortillas or a special brand of a small bag of chips. Guacamole or a nice pita breads would be good, too. I've seen hundreds of reasons to eat salsa. My son in law eats it on eggs for breakfast and steak with dinner. Even GRITS! (Gotta love Texas). How about a nice recipe for a 7 layer salad or enchiladas with a cream sauce? Just getting hungry.
