Was looking at a catalog I got in the mail. It's got 5 pages of gift ideas for pets. So I'm curious. How are your pets included in your holiday celebrations, whatever holiday that might be? (I do get my dog one thing and my cat one thing. But $50 squeaky toy baskets?)

Why...of course! I don't go $$$ nuts, but they always get a new squeaky or two. This year I found GOLD glitter collars studded with rhinestones in a close out basket back in September. I got them for next to nothing...LOL How "glitzie" my goils will look...hehe They always wear little handkerchiefs of seasonal novelty fabrics IF someone's coming over. I'm a quilter.. I have a LOT of fun fabrics...why not use them.. .

Christmas gift for Mom?
Hi! My name is Morgan. I am 12 years old and I cannot WAIT for Christmas! I know it's far away, but It is my favorite holiday and this year is even more special because I want to earn my own money to buy my family and friends presents (My mom usually pays for my friends and I usually make her and my Dad something, but this year I want to do it on my own.) Anyways, this year, instead of making my Mom something, I'd really like to buy it. (It's part of my whole "earn your own money" thing.) For her present, I am thinking of putting together a basket of things she likes, but I dont know what to put in the basket. Shower gift tell me what you think.....?
Ok here is what I have got. It's for my niece. I have a pack of 10 white bobby socks 6-12 months (from Target), 3 pack of animal print socks pink and purple also 6-12 months (from Target), a pair of white socks with a pink lady bug and ruffle 3-6 months (Gymboree), a pair of cream colored socks with a giraffe 3-6m (Gymboree), a white stocking cap with rabbit ears 0-3m (Gymboree), 6 pack of gender neutral washcloths (Target), 2 pair of mittens newborn (Target), a sweater that is blue green orange and gray 0-3m (Children's Place-it's actually boys and matches one I have for my son), fleece pink white and green strip hoodie 0-3m (The Children's Place). First tell me what you think about the items......now what do you think knowing I only paid under $8 for all of it including tax? If I paid full price it would have been over $65. Do you think that is too cheap knowing the actual price I paid? I also have a patchwork dress 6-9m (TCP), pink shirt long sleeves 6-9m (TCP), purple elephant onesie 9m (Target), purple summer minnie mouse romper 3-6m (Sears), jean dress 3-6m (TCP), pink capri's 3-6 or 6-9m (TCP). If I gave them everything it would be a little over $15 with the regular cost for all the items being over $135. I was thinking of saving some of the things for Christmas and easter. We make my other niece a basket for easter and I plan to do it for both of them every year. As you can see I'm good at finding deals but do you think this is too cheap or is it okay? I was planning on also getting a basket to put all the stuff in and throwing in some baby wipes, shampoo, and disposal bags. What do you all think?

Any gift ideas for a friend going through a difficult time and stressed out?
Her birthday is coming up next week and i wanted to put together a cute little basket full of different things for her. She is currently depressed and upset, feeling stressed out a lot. Any ideas of what I could put in the basket? Im on a limit of £20 - £30 as I don't have much money. My ideas so far was lavender essence, sented candles, face mask, bath products, i.e a lavender soap (she likes the smell lavender) bath salts. foot scrub. anything else? any ideas on say food? just so she can really pamper herself. Feel relaxed.

Any advice for the last few weeks before the wedding?
I am *just* starting to freak out a little bit. It really hit me that the wedding is 3 weeks from today! I can't believe it is here already! I went shopping with my godmother today and we got a card box, guest book, cake server, petals for the flower girls' baskets; my gift for the groom, ribbon for wrapping the attendant gifts. I bought the bridesmaids gifts but he hasn't gotten groomsmen gifts yet. We haven't started the seating chart, we have to meet with: the photographer (tomorrow), the DJ, the planner at the venue, the priest. Confirm some details with the florist. Fill out place cards. Get my final dress fitting- I know how late it is cutting that one! And as much as it's hitting me now, I still cannot believe that I will be married in three week's time! How have the final weeks been for other brides who've been there? Any advice on making the most of this time and actually enjoying it?

Cute ideas for gift for the Bride, I am the Maid of Honor...?
I have this small basket...maybe ten inches in length..about eight across, and about eight deep...not very big...but I have put a basket package together for several baby showers but never for a wedding. I have sewn together a lining for the basket out of the Bride's wedding colors.. How come the Easter Bunny doesn't get kids as excited as Santa?
I guess because Santa will bring you more toys and they'll all be wrapped up in gift wrap. The Easter Bunny will only bring you a basket that's probably only got candy in it. Cheap *** bunny.

Baby shower gift question...
My friend's baby shower is this weekend (Sunday) and I just check her registry and just a few small things are bought. I did buy her a small basket and filled it with an album, 13-month calendar, gas drops, baby lotion & soap, diaper rash cream and a raddle. Gift for a new 2nd time mommy!?

Since the basket if for her fill it mostly with things SHE will like. Not socks or diapers lol. At 4 months old she is at an age where she is interested in toys. Get her some toys and maybe to make it Halloweenish, a stuffed pumpkin and a Halloween card. If she has a favorite brand of pacifier get her that, maybe some hair ribbons if she has hair. If not a hair band. When she is older and she is eating treats and really gets in to toys it will be a lot of fun making her a basket and seeing her face light up when she gets it :)

My friend is at Selton Shoal Creek mental institution.?
He admitted himself at this hospital for his bi polar and substance abuse. He realizes that he need help and cannot do it on his own,I commend him for his courage and humility. I love him very much and I know with the right dosages of medication he will be better.My Question is can I send flowers ,gifts like cookie baskets , fruit baskets.... things like this in a mental institution? thank you.
