I am *just* starting to freak out a little bit. It really hit me that the wedding is 3 weeks from today! I can't believe it is here already! I went shopping with my godmother today and we got a card box, guest book, cake server, petals for the flower girls' baskets; my gift for the groom, ribbon for wrapping the attendant gifts. I bought the bridesmaids gifts but he hasn't gotten groomsmen gifts yet. We haven't started the seating chart, we have to meet with: the photographer (tomorrow), the DJ, the planner at the venue, the priest. Confirm some details with the florist. Fill out place cards. Get my final dress fitting- I know how late it is cutting that one! And as much as it's hitting me now, I still cannot believe that I will be married in three week's time! How have the final weeks been for other brides who've been there? Any advice on making the most of this time and actually enjoying it?

Try to take a day off or even just an evening to relax with your fiance and make the rule "No wedding talk". My wife and I did that in the weeks coming up to our wedding and it was wonderful forcing ourselves not to talk about the wedding and stress out about it. On another note, a word of advice about your planning... don't forget to check with a flower preservationist. After all the money you are going to spend on flowers, it's a shame to throw them all away. You can get a nice frame with your bouquet that will last for years and years. Here is our local preservationist http://www.ginasfdf.com/ Check out the online gallery and then find one in your area. Congratulations and make sure to take some time off from the planning to relax.
