Any ideas for holiday gifts for referring offices?

I work in a specialty dental office and we give gift each year to our referring offices. We're trying to be different and not do the cookie/candy/food gift baskets and towers. We've done candles, soaps and silk floral arrangements. Any other great ideas out there?
--------------------
Have you tried tea and coffee gift baskets? During the winter months a great deal of people have a cold, so these types of gift baskets really would help the office. Enjoying a relaxing cup of tea is amazing at alleviating cold symptoms, and having a cold while you're working is not so fun. Take a look: http://www.bisketbaskets.com/teacogiba.html Hope you find what you're looking for!

Items for food gift basket? Unique chocolate items?

What does everyone recommend for items in a food styled gift basket? The recipient enjoys chocolate. I was trying to think of some unique chocolate items that I could find online - some the recipient has never seen or heard of. Any ideas?
--------------------
I love chocolate, and this is what I would love to see in my basket: I like to bake so I would like to see a variety of baking cocoas (the powdered stuff)...Dutch processed, an organic, something exotic that you would find at a specialty chocolate site, perhaps. Maybe some chocolate cookies - like chocolate biscotti, specialty chocolate cookies, perhaps even a chocolate cookie mix that I could bake up. Chocolate bars for sure. The number one domestic is Dove...and Ghirardelli is excellent. The varieties would depend on the person. I truthfully only like the milk, and do not like dark. I know! However a true chocolate aficionado would most probably love getting a variety of cacao percentages. I have also seen the Ritter Sport bars with lots of varieties.... And then of course there is cocoa mix. Ghirardelli has some excellent varieties, and you could even put in mocha, chi, whatever....maybe the pot or a cup...You know I am not mentioning ALL of this in one basket..just loads of options. My last idea is specialty chocolates. Charles Chocolates in Emeryville, CA has the best! Oh my goodness they are to die for! The caramels are awesome too. There is another shop in Berkeley, not far from Charles' on College and it too has specialty chocolates like Charles. I have yet to sample them, but when I get rich I will be there! :) You are a pretty special person to think of such a great gift. I hope they enjoy your effort.

I'm making a gift basket for my boyfriend's Valentine's Day present, but I'm not sure what to put in it.

I've already decided on a framed photo of us together, chocolate, and nice cologne, but what else should I add? This is going to be a large gift basket; the kind you see at silent auctions and such. We're 17 and have been dating for almost two years. We're not sexually active, so obviously I don't plan on including anything that has to do with sexual intercourse. We do, however, engage in other sexual activities. He likes paintball, but to be honest, I know nothing about it and I have no idea what to buy him if I include anything dealing with paintball. I would like to include items that are practical, but also show that I love him and take notice of his interests. Any ideas, please?

a cool t-shirt rolled up tight, with a red ribbon tied around it. A cool pair of mens loungepants/pajama bottom type things for when he sleeps- (it will keep him thinking of you) You may also want to give him and yourself each a book- He will really appreciate this one if you do and realize how much you really care- 'the ten stupid things women do to mess up their lives and the ten stupid things men do to mess up their lives" both by Dr Laura Slesinger. You can review the books at any bookstore because they were on the best sellers list for a long time. If you do not get the books now get them later and at the very least read the one for women. He would see you as a very smart and caring babe. A gift card to jamba juice.

Im creating a gift basket of baby goods for my pregnant friend, can anyone think of some unusual things?

im a student so on a bit of a budget....
--------------------
These aren't unusual, but if your friend is having her first baby, she might not think of these things - and I found them to be really, really handy (and inexpensive!!)... First, Huggies makes some disposable washclothes that are pre-soaped. In the first couple weeks after the baby is born, your friend will have to give the baby sponge baths (until the umbilical cord falls off) and these are really handy. They come in boxes of 20 and are about $2.50 (at least in my area). I recommend the Calming Touch scent. Second, emery boards for babies. I don't know about your friend, but I was afraid of cutting my baby's nails when he was first born (and he really needed it!!) - and I heard that some hospitals will not cut them for liability reasons - but the emery boards work great! Added bonus, they work well for mom when needed! They are only about $1.50. I am sure you will want to get your friend a little more than this, but these are the couple of things that I got that I would have never thought of. Good Luck!!

starting a gourmet gift basket business from home, need liability issurance?

does anyone know of where i can get a good deal on business issurance. i just need liability issurance. i do the business from my spare room in my home. also how much do you think i should be covered for in this type of business. 1 million?
--------------------
I'd suggest asking the company you already have insurance with. You may get a discount for having another type of insurance with them. I don't know how much to be covered for, that's something you'd have to ask them. But I'd think at least $100,000 would be safe, maybe more. $1 million seems really high. Check with wahm.com. I think there are some women who have this kind of business there. I sell Watkins kitchen products and can do gourmet baskets with their products (something I'm considering for fairs) but since I'm already an ind. associate with them and it's their products, I don't worry about insurance stuff. Best wishes to you!

What could I get my best friend's 21 month old baby as a belated easter gift?

If she was older I could do a basket with a little bit of candy, but that's not an option. Could I do a basket with small gifts, or maybe toddler food? Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!
--------------------
I think your idea of toddler food is an excellent one. Even add a toddler plate, bowl and cup set. My little guy is 3 now, but a year ago he went through the toddler snacks. 21 month olds are big on snacks. They sell toddler fruit snacks, cookies and crackers. Yep a great idea. Place the toddler food in a basket and wrap the basket in the plastic wrap with a big bow. Your best friend will truly appreciate the gift.

Anyone knows a trustworthy quality online gift basket shop?

I miss my bestfriend, we've been friends since we were 8 and now we're both 20. We've shared too many moments ( as you can imagine) and were always tied together in life. Unfortunately, i'm in college in Florida and she's in New York. IT seems like 2009 hasn't been her year at all, and even though i've tried and been trying to cheer her up ( letter by mail, pictures, phone calls, etc) She's happier but not really the girl i know. I remembered she loves gift baskets, and i was wondering if anyone knew a good website out there that will deliver to her. Do you think it's a bad idea? What would you do?

What are some items that can go into a stress-relief gift basket?

Around this time every year I am tasked with putting together a gift for some of our employees. In the past I've done variations of movie-themed gift baskets with several different candies, popcorn, and a gift card to either Cinemark or Blockbuster. I am typically given around $35 - $40 to spend on each basket. Instead of doing the same thing again this year, a few coworkers and I came up with a "stress-relief" themed basket. So far we have a Starbucks gift card (price depending on my budget), coffee mug, chocolate, a stress ball, one of those little back massagers, and maybe some hot chocolate and marshmallows. The items have to be appropriate for a wide range of people. I have men and women aged 17-50. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

For stress relief I would put in Chamomile tea or peppermint tea over caffeine charged coffee and chocolate. Aromatherapy candles or lotion. Bath and Body works has small ones in "Sleep" for $3. A small heating pad you can put in the microwave. I don't think Starbucks, hot chocolate and marshmallows say stress relief

where do u think i can sell a tea basket containing different tea and some cookies as a gift pack for Rs.300?

can some one tell me who will be my target audience and where are places can i sell this tea basket as a gift...
--------------------
It depends on the quality of your products. Middle class people will always buy them, High income classes may be a difficult target because they prefer branded stuff; but it's still not impossible if you can impress them they will buy from you regularly. Make sure your pack is attractive and economical, that way you'll become popular quickly. You can always try door to door marketing, or try to put them in local small supermarkets (not chains like Reliance, Big Bazaar etc).
