A Business name for a Gift Basket store?

I want to open a shop making gift baskets for all occasions. There will also be a spot where they can pick from my products and make their own gift basket or if they like a product they can buy it without buying a gift basket. So any help with a name would help me greatly. thanks
--------------------
I have always named my biz's by what they do. As you want the customer to understand what it is you do by just your name. My first company was a automotive detail shop for high line cars. I came up with " Nothing but Details ". As that is all I did, the "details". Majority who saw the name easily figured it was for cars. Then I opened a touch up paint company. Since I don't use brushes and such, I named myself " Brushless Colors ". Everyone understood I did car paint work but w/o a brush. Then recently I created a headlight restoration company. And to go along w/ the others, it got named " Renewed Sight ". Either they grasp its headlights or think at first I am laser eye surgery. Sit down, make a list of EVERY word that pertains to your business. Basket, ribbon, gift.... every word you can think of. Then choose one of them, 2 of them combined, etc to create your name. A name can make or break you so its wise to have one that is catchy, different yet simple. Anyone can have Beth's Gift Baskets as a company. And most see that as a basic, home made company. But something like, the Basket Worx sounds more "corporate" and has more ring to it. Even come up with say 10-20 names using your words of your industry. Then email those off to as many friends as you can asking for their opinion off that list. Actually that is how my Brushless Colors got named. Few others took 2 of my names and combined them to create that one.

i need help finding a gift for my mom, but am not sure what would be best! need advice from mothers!?

my mom isn't easy to shop for...she doesn't want jewelry, or movies, or makeup or perfume or cheesy gift baskets or clothes...so what should i get her? she loves the outdoors, and also likes sentimental things. she loves pictures as well. i just know that this is my first christmas away from home and i really want to make this christmas special for her!
--------------------
Precious Daughter, I'm a mother and just had my birthday and loved what I got , I too am so very sentimental and love pictures so they gave me a Memories of the Heart Book that they put together. They went to Target .com or you can go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels and they have them too. You can use the photo albums and Scrapbooks too. and get pictures of her when she was younger and then married, and her children and so on . Start at her beginning and end with recent pictures. With each picture get those little things that look like cartoon captions and place near photos that seem to speak to you . Make some very sentimental and some very funny so she can laugh and cry at the same time. Write poetry or little notes of love and affection........ got to me oh so much I cried for tears of joy and they all laughed and said they really didn't want to make me cry, They went on line and to www.hp.com/go/printablecards and they are free and it was personalized just for me. I will keep it forever. Just as your mother will do and the compliments will come each time she opens it up and wants to show everyone she can this Memories of the Heart Book and how her brilliant and thoughtful child did for her. What you wrote above this could very much be the right ticket for her happiness. Simplyshy.

What to get as a going away gift?

A fairly good friend of mine will be moving out of the country as he starts university. I was wondering what I should get to give to him at his going away gift... Originally I was going to give him a gift card to starbucks..then i thought of maybe a gift basket.. but what would i put in it? Any ideas?
--------------------
What about a commissioned drawing of their house / home I had a professional drawing done of my friend home (a home portrait) through an amazing website called http://www.drawmyplace.com. All you have to do is send them a photograph of the place you would like drawn and pay for it online. Then, within a couple of weeks (at the most) the professional artist will send you a beautiful, hand drawn, pen and ink rendition of the photograph! I also paid a wee bit extra to have mine framed. It was a fantastic gift idea and my friend LOVED IT.

Out of town guest gift basket ideas?

I live in Las Vegas and I have several guests traveling from Florida. In addition to the travel time, there is a significant time zone and weather difference. On top of the normal gift basket items (the fun stuff), I would like to incorporate some items that will make their stay in the desert more comfortable. Things they may not even have expected they would need. I will definently include lotion and chapstick. What are some other items that are important when traveling a long distance and to a place like Las Vegas.
--------------------
How thoughtful of you! I'd say anything to make their stay comfortable. If they are all at hotels, they could use things to snack on and drink and a regional choice for both would be really nice. Also, a packet of restaurant/things to do recommendations (with directions!) would be an asset, since they won't know your area, and you will be too busy to tell them in person. If they have kids, put in some coloring books and crayons/a cute little plush 'travel buddy'....the parents will appreciate having some things to keep their little ones busy!

I'm making a Christmas gift basket for my friend, what should I put in it?

So far I decided to put in fuzzy socks, Bath & Body Works lotion, and a whole bunch of candy canes. I feel like that's not gonna fill up the basket though, is there anything else (Christmas related) that would be good to put in there?
--------------------
make her some christmas cookies or pepperment bark. There is nothing better than homemade goodies! Plus it adds a nice personal touch!

graduation gift for my older sister?

My older sister is graduating college in a couple months, and i wanted to get her a nice gift. I'm only 13, so I can't spend too much on her. I want to get her something nice or meaningful but also original. so no college gift baskets, gift cards, survival kits or money or whatever. she has all the digital stuff and none of us are sure what she's doing after college, so furniture isn't an option. i was thinking perhaps something that would be useful, but it doesn't necessarily have to be related to graduation, like maybe clothes.
--------------------
A collage would be nice. Something that she could probably put on the wall so that she wont be homesick when she leaves home. (If shes leaving home) A nice deal high school graduation gifts would be books on adulthood, personalized silver bracelets, rings, pendants and key chains. Beside these things like vase, photo frame, wind chimes, coffee mugs and graduation caps are also widely accepted to be as high school graduation gifts.

What is a good gift for my creative freind?

She got me a totally cool gift basket for a fun kid free night of movies. It had a movie, popcorn some smirnoff candy and everything. It was super nice. Now what should I get her? She has two kids and is married. Help.
--------------------
Well you might give her a movie combo. You go to the theatre and get a gift card for the family to go to the movies, get some popcorn and a drink and she will love you for it. ALso you might offer her to take care of her kids over night and give them some home movies, some wine, popcorn and let them enjoy a night alone.

Unique baby shower gift ideas for a basket I'm making?

I'm making my friend a gift basket for her baby shower, filled with all kinds of fun stuff. She's a first time mom, her mother and father are dead and she had a REALLY hard time getting pregnant (6 miscarriages!!!) I really want to make this fun for her as well as extremely functional! I'm a mother myself and have put all the stuff I think she will need, but I need some more ideas...any help would be great! Thanks!
--------------------
I'm sure with you being a Mom yourself that you have the bases covered pretty well. Just in case, some of the things I would include would be: *Infant toiletry set (nail clippers, nasal aspirator, etc.) *Set of cloth diapers for burp cloths (or actual burping pads but they are more expensive) *The infant peekaboo mirror set that she can attach in the front of the car and peek in on her little one in the backseat while she is driving *A cardboard book or two (Goodnight Moon or Guess How Much I Love You are good choices) *Pacifier, rattles, baby bottle(s), socks, booties *Mommy brag book *receiving blanket, t-shirts/onesie(s), baby towel/washcloth set *Baby toy or small plush animal (the ones w/ the pull-down string w/ music are nice) These are just some things off the top of my head. I think this is wonderful what you are doing for your friend!! No matter what you pick I am sure she will appreciate you thinking of her. Congratulations to all!

What kind of Birthady gift can i get for my bf's mother?

Her birthday is near, and i have no idea what to get her. She doesn't really have any hobbies, she has a poodle, and doesn't like flowers, or eat cakes, she probably won't want to go out for dinner. She doesn't eat gift baskets or fruit baskets, she also doesn't like picture frames, so i don't know what to get her, she's really picky and i can't think of anything. Any ideas of what i could get her?

Gift ideas for marathon runner?

My friend is planning to run a marathon and is also going to run a few other races in preparation. I would like to give her a gift that is running-related. If I can't find one perfect item, I'm also considering putting together a gift basket of items (water bottle, energy bar, running socks, etc.) Any suggestions/ideas? Thanks.
--------------------
As an avid marathon runner, there's a number of things that I always need, but most of them are things I like to get on my own because there's a particular brand or style I like. Some of them include the following: Running clothes (shoes, shirt, shorts) Water bottle GPS watch Sunglasses MP3 player Energy bar/gel Sports bag Any of the above, I would *not* recommend getting her because she will probably be unhappy with your choice unless you already know her preferences. A gift card will allow her to get them herself though. Among the things I always seem to need/want but doesn't seem to matter which brand is the following: Running socks (synthetic material) Souvenir from marathon (e.g., jacket, shirt, framed picture from marathon photographer) Body Glide (to prevent chaffing) Gift certificate to massage Marathon stick (for massage) Foam roller (for stretching IT band) "Running" shirt (says something like "Runners Do It Better", "got marathon?", "Run Like a Girl") I think that's all that I can think of. I hope that one or a few of those will help. Good luck~!

Christmas for Dad Gift Basket?

I work at a floralshop/wedding planning agency. My boss has agreed to help me design my father a really nice giftbasket full of stuff he loves for christmas. Problem is, I have no idea of what to buy him to put in the gift basket. Hes very hard to buy for, but I do not want to get him a giftcard. I got my mother small things for her giftbasket, plus a spa day. I would like to make a "dad version of my mothers gift"

Ideas for a Movie themed gift basket?

I am making a gift basket for a christmas present. It's a medium sized basket and so far I have a movie gift card, 2 popcorn packets and 3 boxed candies, i need 1 or 2 more things to fill it, but ran out of ideas, ...anyone have any good ideas? It's for a family of 4.
--------------------
Try & get one of those big movie buckets. Stuff it with tissue almost all the way up. Buy some different flavor popcorn bags, some popcorn butter, some of those popcorn powder flavors or get one of those big candy bags, open it and sprinkle it around the empty spots. Just some different ideas. Great idea by the way. Merry Christmas. They will love it. I know I would.

What is/was your favorite or most appreciated BABY gift, product or item?

Or what would you suggest as a really neat thing to give or receive for a new baby rather than a stuffed diaper bag full of goodies or gift basket or gift card? I'm looking for answers of individual items such as: bottle cozies, washable car seat covers, hand crafted baby quilts, etc... Thanks for your input! I'm way past the baby stage but have several showers to attend this summer and fall!
--------------------
It was a gift certificate to Burke Williams Day Spa. Ever since I got this, I give it to everyone of my friends. It's something that I looked soooo forward to. You go 9 months and some change that you can't use certain medicines, certain shampoos, detergents, hair dying, etc. I felt like I was a big mess when my baby arrived. After a month or so I used my spa certificate. It was something I was so grateful for. I give it all the time now. When people see the gift bag, they know its from me and tuck it away immediately. The best gift for a baby is a happy mommy too :)
