gift basket ideas for administative receptionist staff?

I have 13 staff, I need an idea for christmas gifts for my administrative staff.
--------------------
That's a hard one, because everyone's tastes are so different! If it actually must be a basket, you could do a mug, some cookies/chocolates and a Starbucks gift card. That way, even if they don't do coffee, they could get tea or juice or food with the card. There's always a spa basket, where you could do bubble bath/gel or even those fizzy tablets, a poofy thing (you know what I mean), a nice relaxation CD and maybe one of those blow up pillows for the tub; if you can spend it, throw in a gift certificate for a facial or mani/pedi.

Is this ok for a bridal shower gift?

The shower theme is tropical paradise: Sand, Surf, Spa. I bought the bride a gift basket filled beached themed organic sea salts, bar soap, fizzy ball (for the bath), lotion and massage bar. Would this work, or do you have other suggestions? Thanks!
--------------------
That is a very nice idea! What you have is perfect, I would be happy to recieve such a gift. But if you would like to add things, I made a few suggestions. Feel free to check out Dollar Tree and other discount stores for bargains. Perhaps a loofah sponge would be nice, or one of those net shower things.. Or one of those blow up back rests for the tub. A small votive candle in a scent that matches what you have already purchased. Check out the dollar stores for that. Very spa to have a candle burning while relaxing in the tub. If you wish, find some shells for decoration for your basket, and then for the bathroom. I know Michael's has a sack of nice shells for about $6, but shop around. Even a fake orchid or tropical flower would be cute. Perhaps instead of a bow.

I want to make a baby gift basket for a baby shower we are going to any help or suggestions?

where can i get a basket to put stuff in and how do i complete the finishing touches. Any suggestions what gifts to put in the basket...i want it to be unique and not like everyone elses gift....thanks
--------------------
You can buy baskets at Walmart or at a craft store such as Michaels or Hobby Lobby. What you put in it will depend..do you want it to be for the baby or for the new mom? If for the baby, you could put diapers, lotion, baby shampoo, stuffed animals, blankets, rattles, or pacifiers in it. If for the mom, you could put a baby book, bubble bath, lotion, a photo album or frame, or anything else you think a new mom would appreciate.

What to tie a baby gift basket with?

I'm making a basket for my sister-in-law's baby boy with medicines, creams, thermometer, mittens, etc...I need something cute (and kind of cheap since I already spent more than hubby wanted me to lol) to tie the top of the shrink wrap with to put on the ribbon (like a rattle or teether or something) so that it looks more decorated. Any ideas of what to use? Thanks!
--------------------
go to a bead store buy a thin elastic string and beads that form the baby's name and a few more blank color beads to make it just big enough for a tiny baby's wrist, and make it a little name bracelet! band it around the shrink wrap.

Should i buy a gift basket worth $100 dollars in lottery tickets?

What are the odds I'll make back more than I paid for it?
--------------------
Let's forget about the "gift basket". Let's just stick to the lottery tickets inside. If there is $100 worth of lottery tickets, then you should expect to "win" approximately $50 ON AVERAGE! That's it! That's what the lottery companies pay out. Only about 50% of what they collect from ticket sales. CAN you possibly get more? Well of course you can. WILL you get more than $100? Almost certainly not. If you did this 100 times in a row - actually paid $100 on 100 separate occasions - you would likely find LESS than $100 around 99 times and MORE than $100 perhaps once IF YOU'RE LUCKY! No matter what, you will have spend a total of $10,000 (that's $100 times 100), and you will have "won" around $5,000 for all your trouble. That would include the 1 time that you made MORE than $100 on the group of tickets! So what will happen to you? You're only going to do this once probably. My guess will be that you will "win" somewhere between $40 and $60. If you get even 5 or 10 MORE dollars than that, you should consider yourself extremely lucky. If you get less than $40, consider yourself unlucky. If I could make a wager on this, I would bet $10,000 that you will NOT make back the $100 that you will spend. I'd bet $100 that you'll "win" somewhere from $35 to $65 - no more, no less.

Please help me with gift basket themes for families/couples with grown children?

I need some new ideas for gift baskets, I've done the picnic theme and the movie at home theme. I don't want to do anything naughty or riske'. Please offer some fresh ideas. 3 points to the best one!
--------------------
I have done a spaghetti night basket that was very cute! Put in pasta, jars of sauce, breadsticks, maybe a bottle of wine, checkered tablecloth, parmesan cheese, etc. I have also done a breakfast theme. Waffle mix, assorted syrups, bacon, sausage, orange juice, maybe some cute plates, an omellette pan, whatever you think is appropriate, or non-perishable if needed. Another idea (depending on the person) I have also done a computer fun basket. Put in paper, maybe some colored papers, or cardstock, some blank cd's, dvd's, compressed air or wipes for cleaning, ink (or a gift certificate to Staples, or wherever- so they can buy it themselves if you don't know what kind). Just let your imagination run wild, think about things you use all the time, that is what makes the best gift baskets!!

It's Christmas eve and I have no money left for a gift bag. How do I wrap a gift basket? How to wrap perfect?

Every year I get these beautifully wrapped presents but when I try to wrap other people's presents...well, let's just say that I've learned that a well placed bow can hide a lot of flaws and that I need to make sure all my Christmas trees are in a corner so I can hide the back of the present. So, how do you wrap a perfect present?
--------------------
Gift baskets don't need wrapping. Maybe just a bow.
