Anniversary/ Christmas gift?

My boyfriend and I are combining our 1 year anniversary and Christmas gifts this year. The problem is, when I ask him for ideas, he says I don't need to get him anything. He's just saying it to be nice because he knows we are exchanging gifts, but it doesn't help me, I need ideas! I think those are all great ideas. If you want to get him one expensive thing get the PSP Go and one or two games. If you want to get numerous small things, do the basket idea. Fill it with a shirt from his favorite store, a bottle of cologne, a movie, a hat, a few pairs of boxers, his favorite kinds of candy, scratch-off tickets, and anything else small he might like. Spa/Bath Gift Basket for Christmas?

Im wanting to make my sisters ( 15 and 18) their own basket of all kinds of bathroom type stuff. My mom just buys them whatever she wants to use for instance shampoo, razors, bath soap...they never really have their "own" stuff. Thought it would be a cute idea. Im trying to get a list together so I don't leave anything out. Also what should I put it in? A wicker basket? but I want it to be wrap able.

Hi. I think it would be cute to buy them each a small laundry basket. I would fill it with the following items: Shampoo, deodorant, razors, body wash, maybe some bath and body works hand soap, a candle, maybe some feminine products, a back scrubber, a new bath robe, and some new slippers. If you put all of this in a laundry basket, they could use the basket for other things as well.

Gift idea for 60th birthday (female)?

My mother in law's birthday is Saturday and I want to get her a gift basket of goodies. Thus far I have a gift certificate for a spa pedicure and manicure, glamorous wash gift set (for linens), a small box of purchased "homemade" turtle candies. I need a few more ideas, but nice, but inexpensive. I am puting this all in a nice basket with ribbon.

What should I put in a cheer up gift basket?

One of my coworkers has been having a tough week. Her uncle, who she was very close with, passed away, then someone broke into her apartment (her boyfriend was there and scared the guy away before he stole anything, but still, scary!), and then she got robbed on the street by a guy with a shotgun. A shotgun! All in one week! Crazy stuff. Another coworker and I want to make her a little cheer up gift to make her feel better. I was already thinking about getting her a new purse/wallet, since those were stolen, what are some other good ideas to include?

It depends on what she likes and how much money you want to spend, but little luxury items like nail polish, a new lipstick or lipgloss to help her put on a happy face amid all the stress, stress relievers like spa products or a gift certificate for a massage. I have a bridal shower to go to and I was going to give the bride a gift basket that went along with their honeymoon destination (which is Jamaica). Any ideas as to what I could put in it? I think you shouldn't wrap if ONLY if it's like REALLY fancy, but if it is REALLY fancy, you should wrap it just to impress the boss. just watch out if it's too fancy because your boss might think he's paying you too much.

Interesting idea's for a bachelorette party gift!?

I am looking for a good way to wrap a bachelorette party gift. I have gotten her a marriage survival kit with some sweet and many funny gifts. It is all in a large basket since I hate the waste of wrapping paper. But I want it to look like a gift. Normally I would just tie some ribbon on the handles or maybe a bow right in the middle, but considering the type of party it is, I was looking to do something a little more interesting. Any idea's?

Yes as long as particular food items aren't restricted by the country of import. That goes for all shipping companies. If you want them there in a timely manner, use fedex or ups. It would only take about 2-3 days. Post Office would be cheaper and take at least 5-10 business days.

I want to send a food gift basket to a surgeon who operated on my grandfather at a hospital in NYC. Are there any ethical (or legal?) issues that would prevent him from accepting the gift? There might be if eg the doctor was responsible for moving people up and down on a waiting list. If, eg, you told the doctor you would do him a favor if he moved your grandfather higher on the list, then you would be acting unethically. If there is no such situation, then no problem.

I would keep my money and perhaps invite them all over for a potluck dinner. I would put my own immediate family FIRST this year. Due to unforseen bills,and saying you are broke,means exactly that YOU ARE BROKE.so don't give to others this year,just have the potluck,do you realize how much you would be spending on those baskets? How many bills could you cover with the money those would cost,or how much in groceries would that buy for your own family to eat? I am sorry but I do NOT think buying Lindt chocolates for someone else when my own family is in need would be a good thing to do. I would be more than grateful to get a gift like you are talking about,but would feel really bad if I knew they needed the money for themselves and spent it on a gift basket for me,I would really feel terrible and hopefully your own family would feel the same.
