I work at a bar - what to get my boss?

He loves red lable - but he can obviously buy it for himself I got him 2 packs of black and mild cigs and a $50 gift cert to a store - it's between 7 employees (bartenders) .....do youo think this will suffice or should I put it in a basket with chocolate and put the cigs and gift cert in there or this too much?

Some specialty stores like Brookstone have a "Set of Bottle Tops" after you take away the cork... They are awesome and very good looking; they do the job and also is a perfect masculine decoration... Go on line or in person to any Brookstone and you'll see all kind of awesome gifts for men: A cigar box; a cigar tool with a nice lighter; a jewelry box with a special cigar's compartment; a wallet with digital pictures downloads; garden and wine tools; sports needs; etc... Remember: Stores like Brookstone have specialty items, things you would not find anywhere else... -(No, don't give him chocolates... When men want to eat some chocolate they buy it themselves and in small quantity, unless you want a sad face for him and a happy one for his woman... One of those things: Diamonds and Chocolate are the best girl's friend...)-

Please Help.. I asked my gf of 4 months if we were going to exchange gifts for Easter and..?

She said she is going to make me an Easter basket, which sounds nice. I told her I would make her one too. I'm 20 and she's 18. Should I make her a basket or get her something else? And what would I put in the basket? Please help me make this basket. Costing approx. $40 would be optimal, but can go higher, or lower. 10 points and many thanks.

buying cosmetics for my mom?

for my mom's Christmas gift i want to get a little basket and put cosmetics in it. what are some cosmetic i could buy? and by cosmetics i mean make up, nail stuff, skin product, lotion, etc. if you could include the price and where to but it that would be great!
--------------------
You can get loads of stuff for around $20. The make up would be a personal thing because everyone has their preference on color, type, etc. Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works and most shops have toiletries already included in cute gift bags or baskets. Victoria's Secret has assorted perfumes in small vials for around $20 and she can wear a different fragrance every day.

Should I tell her how I feel about her?

Hi guys and gals, I have been spending time with a girl at my college. We have only spent four days together, but she has mentioned how it feels like we've known each other for ten years. I feel the same and have developed feelings for her. I am taking her out to a lake today. Should I tell her that I have feelings for her? How do I know if she likes me? Also, I know this is cheesy, but I've never been out with a girl. What is the proper "code" for conduct? Is a basket of flowers a good gift idea?
--------------------
Don't directly say it. Show that you like her by listening to what she has to say and being yourself. It will become obvious how you feel and you will achieve the same thing without risking anything anyway! Personally, I would hold off the gifts for a while as they can put early pressure on a relationship. If you must get a gift, get something amusing and inexpensive. As long as you continue to be yourself, you are fine. Although you feel close to this person already, bear in mind that you have known her for four days. Take your time, there is no rush! Of course she will know how you feel in the end! It is not like she will run away if you don't say all the highest romantic things. Don't scare her away.

Neatest thing to get for 25 bucks at Bass Pro?

Just kind of a fun question here. I have a 25 dollar gift card to Bass Pro and probably heading up there this weekend. What would you purchase with this gift card? I of course can't go to Bass Pro and only spend 25 bucks, I'll have a basket filled up with baits that'll add up very fast, happens everytime. I'm just thinking of "different" things to maybe get. I stumbled upon a mechanical device that takes the line off of your reels for you which I thought was pretty neat and would save me the trouble of having to wrap gobbs of line around my hand. Any more ideas?
--------------------
Yeah, a despooler would be nice, as would any gadget that you've sort of considered getting but thought, "Is it worth it? Will I really use it?" Or some goofy but intriguing lure or bait that makes you ask yourself "I wonder if this really works." The giftcard makes it worth trying, because if you never use the gadget or if the new wonderbait doesn't really work, you didn't waste your own, hard-earned money. Another thing I tend to get with giftcards is stuff that is expendable (in my case, fly tying materials). Such "expenses" like line and splitshot and fasteners can nickel and dime you, but nothing's worse than realizing you're out of something the night before a trip or while you're sitting in the boat. So if I get a sizable gift card, I try to get a good stockpile of whatever it is, so that it's a while before I have to remember to get more. In your case, sounds like that might be baits of various kinds. Might want to think about stuff that is only related to fishing, like a nice pair of gloves, shades, socks, or a hat. Do you have a good LED headlamp or one of those ballcaps with the little LED light in the bill? A bright, reliable lightsource is critical. Maybe don't spend the 25 bucks on something that costs 25 bucks but apply it to something more expensive and consider it a "discount," like a new rod/reel outfit. Tell you what, send me the giftcard and I'll look around and see what they have. I'm sure I'll find something good. At least you'll know it didn't go to waste...

Why don't the Jews (or Christians) offer animal sacrifices to the LORD anymore?

Lev 8:13 Next Moses presented Aaron's sons. He clothed them in their tunics, tied their sashes around them, and put their special head coverings on them, just as the LORD had commanded him. Lev 8:14 Then Moses presented the bull for the sin offering. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the bull's head, Lev 8:15 and Moses slaughtered it. Moses took some of the blood, and with his finger he put it on the four horns of the altar to purify it. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. Through this process, he made the altar holy by purifying it. Lev 8:16 Then Moses took all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat around them, and he burned it all on the altar. Lev 8:17 He took the rest of the bull, including its hide, meat, and dung, and burned it on a fire outside the camp, just as the LORD had commanded him. Lev 8:18 Then Moses presented the ram for the burnt offering. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the ram's head, Lev 8:19 and Moses slaughtered it. Then Moses took the ram's blood and splattered it against all sides of the altar. Lev 8:20 Then he cut the ram into pieces, and he burned the head, some of its pieces, and the fat on the altar. Lev 8:21 After washing the internal organs and the legs with water, Moses burned the entire ram on the altar as a burnt offering. It was a pleasing aroma, a special gift presented to the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him. Lev 8:22 Then Moses presented the other ram, which was the ram of ordination. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the ram's head, Lev 8:23 and Moses slaughtered it. Then Moses took some of its blood and applied it to the lobe of Aaron's right ear, the thumb of his right hand, and the big toe of his right foot. Lev 8:24 Next Moses presented Aaron's sons and applied some of the blood to the lobes of their right ears, the thumbs of their right hands, and the big toes of their right feet. He then splattered the rest of the blood against all sides of the altar. Lev 8:25 Next Moses took the fat, including the fat of the broad tail, the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat around them, along with the right thigh. Lev 8:26 On top of these he placed a thin cake of bread made without yeast, a cake of bread mixed with olive oil, and a wafer spread with olive oil. All these were taken from the basket of bread made without yeast that was placed in the LORD's presence. Lev 8:27 He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons, and he lifted them up as a special offering to the LORD. Lev 8:28 Moses then took all the offerings back from them and burned them on the altar on top of the burnt offering. This was the ordination offering. It was a pleasing aroma, a special gift presented to the LORD.

I don't know about Jews but christians stopped doing it because Jesus was the last sacrifice ever needed. Here is how it works. a sacrifice would be done to clean away your sins but god always knew that for him it would never be enough. When god came down in the form of Jesus he basically came to be the sacrificial lamb for all of mankind washing away the sins of the past present and future. hence why he called the lamb of god. because Jesus is god in human form and is all good his sacrifice more than pays for everybody sins. anyone who sinned sacrificed and died before Jesus arrived is forgiven provided that they believed Jesus would come and they believed in god the father. essentially now the greatest sin that you cannot be forgiven for even if you are truly sorry is to go through life denying that god and Jesus are real and that jesus died to wash away your sins. Its a lot but i'm sure that hits the nail on the head.

What to give my best friend for her 16th birthday? :)?

Okay so it's one of my best friend's birthday today, but her party's next week and that's when I'm giving her,her gift. She loves almost everything! But I want to get her something more special than just a gift card. She loves makeup, Lush, clothes (but she has really good style... so I don't want to buy clothes) jewlery and she also loves music. I was thinking of getting her a little basket or box and filling it with 16 little things. Like nail polish, some makeup, bath stuff... etc... but I don't know if she'd actually want that... So do you have any ideas?!?! What should I get my my best friend who's turning 16? Thankyou so much if you could help :)

Should I not invite my son's grandparents to his 1st Birthday?

It's a long long story about everything but basically I hate my husbands parents and I have decided to no longer have a relationship with them.. My son's birthday is next month and I am unsure what to do.. My husbands step mother is a very very rude person and my mom is a fighter.. I would invite them (even though I don't want to be around them) But I know my mom will end up fighting with her.. she never has but its been building.. I wouldn't be worried about it if I knew she wasn't going to make a rude remark about something because she always does.. I don't want them there and neither does anyone else.. On top of that I know that she is going to rip him off on his gifts and that will just make me so mad! I know because she already does.. ALWAYS!! Just one example is for easter she got my son a rubber duck and bought her granddaughters so much stuff she couldn't fit it in their basket and was bragging about it.. how she couldn't fit it all in their baskets thats just one example and last yr she showed me a toy she got him at a yard sale and said that it was for his first birthday.. and I'm sure she isn't getting him anything else because thats how she is not that everything is about material things but she makes it a point to treat my son different then everyone else as well as my husband.. (his dad makes 100 grand a yr) and when my husband tells his dad these things he doesn't believe him.. Should I just not invite them.. I certainly don't want them their and I know whats going to happen :( as sad as it makes me.. Here is another question I posted about them before explaining some of it but its long http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;… WHAT TO DO? Thanks
--------------------
no i don't think that u should invite her. it's like you could invite her if you first have a conversation with her telling her how her attitude affects you, and asking her to tone it down. but on top of everything you get stink gifts. no she isn't worth the trouble at all.

Please Help! I need help with a physics weight problem?

My teacher assigned our class a few bonus problems to do since the class performance on our 2nd exam was poor. The bonus points will be added to your 2nd exam grade. Can someone help me figure out how to solve the following problem? This is the only one left I have to answer, and I am unable to figure it out. Your help will be greatly appreciated! 1. For a birthday gift, you and some friends take a hot air balloon ride. One friend is late, so the balloon floats a couple of feet off the ground as you wait. Before this person arrives the combined weight of the basket and people is 1090 kg, and the balloon is neutrally buoyant. When the late arrival climbs up into the basket, the balloon begins to accelerate downward at 0.61 m/s2. What was the mass of the last person to climb aboard? kg
--------------------
Initial force-new force= total force 1090*9.8-9.8(1090+m)=-.61(m+1090) m=118kg

Need more Housewarming party favor ideas PLEASE!?

So Far Party Favor ideas: - Small packages of cookies shaped like houses (cookie cutters available at craft stores) - A candle that is decorated is always a nice gift and often inexpensive if you buy a bunch. You can buy plain candles and hot glue cinnamon sticks around them, or buy nice ribbon and line the top and bottom or buy glitter to decorate with. - Many stores have See's candy chocolate bars for only $1.00. If you have a small gathering (say15 or less) the cost is reasonable. Wrap these bars individually with beautiful bows. This makes a delicious and fun take home gift. - Go to Bath and Body Works and get a bunch of hand-sized, great-smelling lotions and lip balms. Put them all in pretty basket and place tiny bows on them. Let guests help themselves. - Wrap brownies in colored plastic, net and ribbon! anymore ideas?
--------------------
You have a nice list already compiled...here's some more unique ones I've found: -Personalized corkscrew opener, customized labels for wine or any beverage, engraved key chains, pizza cutters or scented gel candles that are labeled. - A house shaped photo frame. Take picture of guests during party and send it to them to place in frame. - Flower bulbs in pretty little bags. It is something that they can take away to beautify their home. -Buy souvenir glasses or cold drink coolers to use during party -wash/ carry home. Add name, address, party date.... - Purchase inexpensive address books and write your new house number and phone inside... Good luck! Home Elixir Home Staging www.homeelixir.com

How many clothes should a guy own?

I realize the answer to this question is "however many he wants", but what do you think is a normal, average, practical answer? I just finished up folding about three months worth of laundry that'd been sitting in my baskets since whenever it was all washed and have realized I probably have too many. I assume I have them all because I never throw clothes out or give them away, unless they're absolutely destroyed. But I still wind up accumulating them because I will buy new ones periodically, and receive them as gifts at Christmas and my birthday. Quickly counting my closets, drawers and some of my recent laundry stacks, I have something on the order of 150-200 shirts (tees, dress shirts, sweaters) something like 50 pairs of socks, 50 pairs of underwear, and then there's pants, shorts, swimsuits, winter jackets, spring jackets, rain jackets, suit jackets, and 8 different bathrobes (those were all gifts) In a couple of weeks I'm going to start putting the winter gear away into those bins that go under the bed, and I figure then would be a good time to make some decisions about a lot of them and toss some in a donation box. What do you think my target number should be?
--------------------
7-10 pairs of jeans or other casual pants 2-3 pairs of khakis 12 collared shirts (5 long sleeve, 7 short sleeve) 3 sweaters 2-3 jackets (light and heavy jacket) 15 t-shirts 10 pairs of underwear 15 pairs of socks 2 suits (many more if you have to wear suits to work) 5 gym shorts 5 khaki shorts 3 pairs of shoes(tennis shoes, dress shoes, boots) a couple of jerseys

Do you think my pastor and his wife will like the presents i got them for Christmas?

i got her a cd devotional that has 5 cds and has stories with the devotions. it is meant for busy christian women. i got him a small cross from jerusalem, hand carved. and then, i found an ornament that was 20 dollars, hand crafted and it says the best gift was given on a tree, it has a christmas tree and a cross on it. then they personalized it free for me. i am putting them all together in a christmas basket, using cotton balls for snow to set the presents on then i will put some basket wrap on it, christmas of course, and then put some ribbon and bows on it. do you think they will like it?

Yes they will.It sounds very nice.Merry Christmas!

christmas shopping help.?

hi.i want to give everyone a tiny basket of little gifts.my sister loves make up and doing makeovers what kind of make up would be great for an almost 9 year old.ive got another 12 yr old sister she loves reading but i want to gether her a varitey of things, im thinking a book and a nice bookmark and???? MY mom she is tough. she likes candles but i got her a few last yr. she also likes things i like, she shops at abercrombie sometimes!!! my dad loves fanstasy football/baseball and likes mets. also he likes to wear womens slippers, who doesnt??now my grandpa he likes watching golf and he enjoys sports.he also loves dark chocolate, like my grandma.my grandma likes books and playing games/ she also likes when i help set the table :). my other grandma likes little nic nacs and nailpolish.my other grandpa likes smart guy stuff like my daddy. he likes books.my other grandpa likes funny gifts. my other grandma likes crafts.my uncles like baseball caps and i think ill get thema nice movie to
--------------------
It sounds to me like you have a really good idea of what your buying them! Everything you said sounds good and i love that cute idea of a little basket! As for your sister, dont spend too much money on buying expensive makeup if you were planning to because she is only 9 so im guessing she doesnt actually wear too much of it. I think a good brand to get is like smackers lip gloss and things like that cuz their really cute and affordable. This may not be what you were thinking but if your sister likes to read and shops at barnes and noble than you could get a gift card to the cafe cuz i think most barnes and nobles have them. Its nice to grab a book and snack and read in the cafe. Your mom sounds kinda tough but, usually it doesnt matter with ur mom she'll like anything you give her you could even make her something. I think you already pretty much know what to buy all your grandparents and uncles. Good luck but im sure they'll love all their gifts.

I have the basic plan for the gifts. What should I get my best friend for her birthday?

My best friend's 17th birthday is on the 11th of May and I'm stuck on what to get her. She's already told me that all she wants is some new head phones for her iPod, but I need to top my Christmas gift that I got her. For Christmas I had a muilt-picture frame of us which she loved. Her favorite color is orange, she likes cheerleading, giraffes, make up, perfume... Girly stuff but not girly. I was thinking of some clothes, but I don't want to ask my mom for a lot of money. I want to have a basket full of small gifts, maybe some gag gifts as well. Any ideas? I want her birthday to be really great. Please answer.
--------------------
All my best friends happen to be females and currently i'm looking for a gift for my present best friend, her birthday is on the 10th of may. I'm planning to get her a wicked looking plush toy. For my previous best friends i got once a mug + a keychain with her name, for another one i got a plush toy as well and she just adored it. I would also consider accessories, girls can never have enough of those ( i have two sisters who are addicted to accessories). CDs of her favorite band will do, and of course there's the holy grail of friendship, cards and something handmade. Whatever you get, i'm sure she'll appreciate it since it's from you.
