Please Help! I need help with a physics weight problem?

My teacher assigned our class a few bonus problems to do since the class performance on our 2nd exam was poor. The bonus points will be added to your 2nd exam grade. Can someone help me figure out how to solve the following problem? This is the only one left I have to answer, and I am unable to figure it out. Your help will be greatly appreciated! 1. For a birthday gift, you and some friends take a hot air balloon ride. One friend is late, so the balloon floats a couple of feet off the ground as you wait. Before this person arrives the combined weight of the basket and people is 1090 kg, and the balloon is neutrally buoyant. When the late arrival climbs up into the basket, the balloon begins to accelerate downward at 0.61 m/s2. What was the mass of the last person to climb aboard? kg
--------------------
Initial force-new force= total force 1090*9.8-9.8(1090+m)=-.61(m+1090) m=118kg
