Gift basket item ideas? ?
I'm making a gift basket for my friend for christmas (she's a girl) and I want to put things like body wash, lip gloss, lotions, chap stick, fooood, stuff like that, any suggestions? also, I want some of the stuff to be Christmas-themed : ] thanks for your help! : D
--------------------
Bath and Body has a good selection of holiday scents; you can find smaller-sized lotions and body wash. They usually have matching chapsticks, etc. Also, get a great smelling holiday candle! For the food stuff, you can include maybe some chocolates or something (there's tons of different gift-sized one of these), something like bonn bons or truffles. Then, if she likes hot chocolate (or coffee, or tea) pick out some flavors that have a holiday theme. If she likes to read, maybe add a book to package; or, if she's not a reader, maybe a CD she's been wanting? Add a pair or two of fuzzy socks. If you have the time, you can even make a small photo album of the two of you and include it. Arrange everything in a pretty basket with some tissue paper or nice linens and voile la--an awesome gift basket of things she can use to "pamper" herself! Hope I've helped :-)

Does anyone have any gift ideas for my sister, the bride?
My sister is getting married. I would like to do something special for her. The actual wedding gift is seperate. I thought of putting a basket together with a gift certificate for a massage, a tank top with "Bride" in rhinestones etc etc. I live very far away and cant find a place for her to get the massage. And I found out she already has shirts and hoodies labeled "Bride" and "Bridesmaid" for the wedding day. I need some new ideas.....please!

Is The Gift Basket Industry A Good One?
My daughter and her boy friend have begun a "Gift Basket Company".......How many of you would Order from a "Gift Basket Company? Or would you go to the store and shop there instead....For those of you wondering you can see their site at http://www.blackriverbaskets.com Please, be honest and let me know if you think it looks like it could succeed...Thanks...
--------------------
It looks good! Go with that! If it brings in more money for you than just a regular "job," then ride it until the wheels fall off! Tell your daughter and her boyfriend Nate said "Good luck!" P.S. The key to this is you have to offer the product at a price that the other stores and malls won't offer. You want to make some $, but at the same time turn a profit. Keep this in mind.

The website looks nice but the products are tacky looking. I know that there is a market for this kind of gift basket. People like that. However personally I am not a gift basket giving or taking person unless it has items that can relate to me or the person Im giving it to. It looks like there are on to a good thing.

Ideas for a homemade gift basket?
Well, I want to make my own gift basket for my teacher. But I'm not really for sure what she might like. She is 27 so what would she like. I was thinking about a little lotion from B&B and some hot chocolate. Some candy(or no)? And I don't know what else. What is something else I could put in there??
--------------------
A stuffed animal. Flowers. Scratch tickets. A card drawn by yourself. A book. Lotion is good, hot chocolate is perfect. Candy's good too!

How much should a college student spend on a wedding gift?
I'm a college student and a couple of my friends are getting married. I'm not sure how much I should be spending on their gift. I'm making them a basket full of baked goods but I'm not sure whether or not I should add something to that (e.g. something from the registry or a gift card). Any advice?
--------------------
DONT SWEAT IT!! If the couple are friends of yours they will not expect a gift knowing you are on a limited income, and they wont care how much you spend if you do give one. If they balk, I would question their friendship. A baked goods basket is a nice gift for many occasions (I personally love them), however I would maybe give that to them as a house-warming, as they will probably be on their honeymoon right after the wedding. We dont want things to go stale. lol I would check the registry for something in your budget. I helped several of my friends do their registry and we made sure there was a wide range of prices - from $4.95 to $195. Or a card with a Wine and Cheese Basket would be fitting. In Texas, on a 'college budget' buy, you can get a card-$1-2, a bottle of wine-$4-7, a small block of Non-Refrigerated cheese-$2-4, and a small box of biscuit crackers-$2-4. If they do not drink, some prefer a bottle of sparkling water-$3-7. This is on the lower end, about $10-12. Remember to be true to your budget. You will be able to afford the nicer things when you have your degree. And either way, they will still love you!! Raymond

I need some help with some holiday gifts baskets?
I need to get something for my mom for Christmas. She says she wants one of those air fresheners where you put the sticks in them. I've provided a link for a picture...but that's really not a lot of money and I don't want to spend less on her than I did everyone else. Therefore I was thinking a gift basket but I have no idea what to put in it. She's 43 so is there anything anybody can think of that she really might like within spending limit...i'm on a budget of only $30 per person http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.zarahome.com/images/b/8803/070/250/BH/XX/s/9.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.zarahome.com/shop/nl/en/zara-home/product/White%2BJasmine%2BAir%2BFreshener%2BSticks/27927/-1/54968/&usg=__YFDUE-V1EcRGMivbsutWoGDt3FI=&h=391&w=391&sz=12&hl=en&start=6&um=1&tbnid=booN3NqFxT197M:&tbnh=123&tbnw=123&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dair%2Bfresheners%2Bwith%2Bsticks%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DNe

If you were given a bottle of homemade vinagrette, what kind would you like to recieve?
I'm going to put together gift baskets for Christmas gifts this year. I want to include a small bottle of a homemade vinagrette in the baskets (for marinade or salad). What are the most liked vinagrettes?... besides Italian (I want something a little less boring). If anyone has ideas for cheap, but nice-looking, bottles for the vinagrette, I'd apprecitate that too!

Birthday gift for the man who has EVERYTHING!?
My Boyfriend's birthday is comming up and I have no idea what to get him. I never do. We have been together for a few years and never get him the greatest gifts. He is hard to buy him anything because if he wants something he buys it himself and if he hasn't already gotten it's because he can't afford it and neither can I. I've done the poem, the gift basket of romantic things, lingere, all of that. I desperately need ideas! My budget is 200 at the most.

Small gift basket for visiting friend?
My best guy friend is coming into town this Saturday, and I haven't seen him in a year. I wanted to make him a small gift basket, because I don't want him to have to lug around common things like shampoo, shaving creame, and conditioner - etc. What are some small little gifts that I can put in here? That would be a necessity. He's 19 & a guy, obviously. Thanks so much! ;D
--------------------
A comb or a brush. If he's not staying in a hotel, then he'll need a washcloth or a loofah and a towel. Some hotels provide shampoo and conditioner but not shaving cream, so that's a good one to put in. Maybe some aftershave. A toothbrush and some toothpaste. Maybe a guy's magazine, like Esquire, would be good.

What kind of business license do I need for an internet business or ebay business?
I am planning a business. I will start out with baskets for new babies and if all goes well I will make the extra investment for wedding baskets, and then so on and forth. By baskets I mean gift baskets. I have researched local business license, but I am not sure if a local business is the right way to go, so I am thinking internet or Ebay. What kind of license do you need for these types of businesses.
--------------------
The requirements vary according to your state. Call the business license office for your county and just ask them if you need a business license to operate an internet store. I live in Georgia, and in my county, you do.

She works behind the counter when the safe crackers and the fake safe crackers are shopping there.

Try this -- http://imdb.com/title/tt0120813/fullcred ADDENDUM: All I can suggest is to rent the movie and watch the credits! Italian themed gift basket idea? creative people please!?
I need help on designing and deciding what to place inside an Italian themed gift basket for a 21 year old young woman and a 22 year old young man. Please no wine-I know this is "big" here in Italy but I am trying to leave out food and drinks. They will be eating plenty of Italian food here once they arrive:) Also please no movies as they will not work once they return to America. Thanks in advance
--------------------
Where will they be going? I suggest a travel book on the area- so they have a chance to read up on it before they arrive. Rick Steves has some great travel books- maybe a good place to start. Maybe one of those disposable cameras to take photos and scrapbook to keep them in. If you can find them, maybe a set of gift cards/stationary with photos of Italian villages. A diary or book with blank pages so they write about their stay in Italy. If you can, get some Italian money/currency and tell them the first meal is on you!

Christmas Gourmet Cheese Gift Packs?
Looking at xmas gift packs for my staff and their families. Any gourmet cheese and sausages offered as a seperate gift pack by itself instead of the traditional large gift baskets? Don't mind buying online but free shipping preffered. Thanks in advance.
--------------------
I think winsconsin produce the best cheese. Not many online merchants offer gift packs for a cheese and sausage combo. The ones that I can find might be of interest to you. Packaging is real nice. It also has a customized gift basket segment.Comes with free shipping of course.

A great original idea, would be for you guys to buy tea-light sized candles and plastic floaters, bundle them up in small baskets of 50 and give them to clients. This way they can light up their pools with glowing candle light, which is a festive way to celebrate the holidays.

Do you know of any place that I can buy inexpensive fairly large tins or baskets for an assortment of candies?
My boyfriend and I are going to give homemade candies to our family members for Christmas... everything from hard candies and lollipops to peanut brittle and fudge. We were hoping to be able to gift the assortment of candies in tins (about the size of the larger commercial heart-shaped tins you see filled with candy on valentines day) or small baskets. We'll need to buy 16 of them. I've looked into the packaging sold for wedding favors but most of them appear to be too small. Have any ideas?
--------------------
I do the same thing every year! I bought alot of tins at the Dollar Tree. Wal-Mart is also selling tins pretty cheap this year so you'll want to look there too. Merry Christmas!

Trinidad themed Gift Basket?
I would like to make a Trinidad themed Gift Basket for Christmas for my mother-in-law. She loves to cook. I'm looking for ideas for things to go in it and places to buy them. I would like to purchase packaged foods, seasonings, snacks that are popular to Trinidad...something to help her remember where she's from. I would things that are difficult to get in the States that can be mailed ordered.
--------------------
The source below has over 120 herbs, spices and seasonings including many ethnic ones so you should find something relevant, but I dont personally know what spices are particular to Trinidad. Great idea for a present!
