I would like to make a Trinidad themed Gift Basket for Christmas for my mother-in-law. She loves to cook. I'm looking for ideas for things to go in it and places to buy them. I would like to purchase packaged foods, seasonings, snacks that are popular to Trinidad...something to help her remember where she's from. I would things that are difficult to get in the States that can be mailed ordered.

The source below has over 120 herbs, spices and seasonings including many ethnic ones so you should find something relevant, but I dont personally know what spices are particular to Trinidad. Great idea for a present!
