Can Mormons drink cocoa?
For Secret Santa, I drew the name of my Mormon friend. I'm putting together a gift basket of marshmallows, Rice Krispie treats, and some other little gifts for her. I was also going to include packets of hot cocoa, but I'm not sure if cocoa is something Mormons are not supposed to drink? Just wondering. Thanks.

Birthday Gift ideas for a 21 year old?
For a male who I've been casually dating for three months. I was thinking engraved shot glasses? And then engraving something like "Alcoholic: Est. Dec 12, 2009", is that lame? Or should I just get regular shot glasses? Should I get him a "survivors" giftbasket, and fill it with booze, shot glasses, tylenol, cologne, etc? If so, what else should I put in the basket? Does anyone else have any other creative/neat/fun ideas? I guess this was like nine questions, sorry, but your help is greatly appreciated! *Another note, my budget is not so great right now (as for everyone else and their mom I'm sure), so I want to stray away from really expensive gifts. Xmas gift for my employers?
I am a nanny for a family with three kids (5,8,10), both parents are doctors. I have small gifts for each kid but I wanted to get something for the whole family. Their last nanny got them a photobook (like from shutterfly.com) and that is what I've been thinking along the lines of because that was my first option. My other idea is a movie night basket, but I'm trying to keep my budget at $20 and all the things in there can add up super fast. I really want something personal. I would love some ideas! Thanks!

Christmas gift ideas for my future inlaws?
Last year, before I was engaged to my fiance I gave his family a big basket that was just filled with a variety of things that they all like. It was good and appropriate because I didn't know them too well. This year I have to step it up a notch.... I'm thinking about giving his 3 sisters (one teen 2 young adults) snuggies (those blankets with sleeves). I really think they would like it, and I don't think we're close enough for personal gifts. Any other ideas? Also...I honestly have no idea what to give his parents. We're also not too too close, but we're working on changing that (I live 4 hours away so its taking some time). Any ideas? My dad had a massive heart attack about 4 months ago, and his diet has been restricted. I want to make a gift basket of yummy food that is also "heart healthy" for him. Should I freeze these?
For Christmas I'm giving someone a gift basket with fudge, cookies and chocolate-peanutbutter squares [that I made]. Would it be ok for me to wrap it now and put it under the tree, or should I freeze them for a day? Will they get gross if I don't?

What am I obligated to do?
The woman that I used to babysit for about 13 years ago called to let me know that her mother-in-law passed away. The kids I used to babysit are pretty much grown up now and I haven't seen them in ages. I still am in occasional contact with their mother (the one that called). I don't know the proper etiquette for handling this situation. Ideally, I'd like to just send a gift basket to their house but they are expensive and we are on a tight budget. The fact that she called made me feel obligated for something. Is sending JUST a condolence card too tacky? I am unable to attend the wake so I cannot just ignore the situation. PLEASE ADVISE!

Today I received a gift basket as a thank you from my cousin's wife, for throwing her a baby shower. Now I need to know - am I supposed to send her a thank you card for that? Or would that be a little redundant?

I want to give my sons kindergarten teacher a valentines day gifts but not sure what to give?
my sons teacher is really awesome, my son and I both the she is great and I thought it would be nice to give her a gift basket. Gift for my groomer and her employees?
My great groomer of several years. Private groomer in her own shop connected to her home. She really is superior and knows her stuff. It's her and her daughter and one employee all women. I was thinking of a bath and body works gift card for each one but I don't like it that there is a dollar amount on the card - seems "vulgar" to me. Then I was thinking of a gift for all three such as several wrapped candles in a one basket. I just don't know what to get. The gift cards would have been 15 each for each one- 45 total so thats around the amount I can afford to spend around 50. But then again everyone doesn't like candles or every candle scent. I'm just burnt out lately and need ideas. Thanks. Proud mom to two shih tzu one shih tzu mix.
