This is basically a technique for determining brand loyalty. If you do not have brand loyalty your prospects in business are poor. If your friends are not asking to buy your products, try to develop that aspect first. Once you have saturated your very local market, you may be ready to start advertising to bring in new customers. E-Bay can give you an opportunity to present yourself as an upscale supplier. but so too can local boutiques. Don't even pitch to big box stores early. You can not yet supply their scale requirements.

Where do I begin? I want to leave my job and start a few home businesses.?
I would like to do gift baskets full time, day care for a few kids and graphic design. I hate my current job and I'm ready to ditch it, but I know I can't do that just yet. Help!

Wow, one thing at a time please? lol. It most certainly is a good idea to start your own business, but you definitely have to take a lot of factors into consideration. Can you do without the security of a regular paying job? Can you multitask? Manage your finances, marketing, "operations", etc... all by yourself? Or can you afford to hire someone to do it for you? Also, do you seriously think U can manage a day care center, gift baskets and graphic design all at the same time? If the answer to all the above questions is yes, then yep, you should go ahead and venture into the world of being your own boss. Don't let me scare you off the path of self reliance, I just feel you need to give it a really good thought before you decide to jump into it. Also about starting all three things at once? Don't you think its like biting off more than you can chew? If I were you I'd take things one step at a time. Do some market research, find out if there is a good demand for gift baskets, of if there are a lot of busy parents around who'd want to leave their kids with you, or if you can find enough clients for your graphic designing services. Only then should you consider leaving your job. Once you have decided that you do want to leave your job and that whatever venture you have decided to pursue is financially viable, you can seek help from various small business associations to help you get your feet on the ground. One good site to look for them is www.entrepreneur.com. I hope that helped you.

Thank you gift basket for parents.?
I'm trying to come up with ideas for a gift or gift basket or whatever for my parents who are taking the whole family to Disney. Dad is not huge on Disney or theme parks and Mom loves everything Disney. All meals are paid for so we cant take them out for dinner, all tickets are paid for, ya..... they pretty much paid for everything so I want a nice and original idea for a thank you gift. Gift Basket Ideas for guests?
I want to leave a little gift basket in each hotel room for the guests that are staying at the hotel? What did you do for your guests?? snacks/water?? Tylenol?? What should I put in it and what should I put it in?? Links helpful! My wedding is kind of a destination wedding - I am getting married this August off of the lake - so it's is kind of beachy/lakey themed My first dance will be to UB40 - Can't help falling in Love (To give you an idea)

Black light Gift Basket?
I'm making a black light themed gift basket for my friend who's birthday is in 10 days because she just got this amazing black light poster. But other then an actual black light, I'm stumped on what to put in it. Any ideas? Also...do all things that glow in the dark work with black lights or are those just two entirely different concepts?

What should go into a Golden Wedding Anniversary gift hamper?
I'm making my grandparents a Golden Wedding gift hamper. I've already bought the basket to put it in, and the golden shredded tissue paper that the gifts will be wrapped in. But I'm not sure what else should go in there. Obviously I'm going to theme it gold, do I was thinking golden crunch cremes, a gold bangle, golen-shred marmalade and that kind of thing. I do NOT like personal care items like lotion, soaps, etc. !!!! Often the scent chosen isn't one you'd pick for yourself, sometimes irritates sensitive skin or goes unused. I like things that I can use. The best gift basket items I've received are: 1. Candles 2. Gift Cards 3. Recipe Card with cooking tools 4. A classy silk scarf 5. Hair things or other accessories 6. Winter items like gloves and a hat or summer fun things like flip flops

I want to make a gift basket for a friends parents, they love dunkin doughnuts coffee so i was thinking a gift card but they also try to eat healthy. I was thinking along the lines of dish towels and candles but i'm trying to add something for the both of them.

How much gross revenue can I expect to make?
If I rent a mall cart Nov to Dec, how much profit on average can I look to make - I want to sell gift baskets for the holidays.
