Ok I Have Been Talking 2 This Guy For About A Month Now. Hes 18 And I Have Done Asked Him 2 Be My Valentine. He All Ready Has My Gift But I Dont Have Anything For Him. Hes A Basketball Player And I Was Thinking About Just Making A Basket With His Favortie Candy, Chips, Soda, And Things Like That. But Can You Tell Me Any More Ideas Or Is That A Good One for Him.... Please And Thank You

I think that you cant go wrong with a basket of food for a guy, he will love it! You could also make him heart shaped cookies, cupcakes or brownies so they are more valentine's related. You could also include a nice card that you made yourself, because that is more personal.

What do I send my boyfriend's family for Christmas?
We've been dating for 4 months, but I spent over a week with his family over Thanksgiving, and feel pretty close to his mom and stepdad. I would normally go gift basket route, but I sent a really nice one as a thank you for having me for Thanksgiving. He is in VT, I'm in CA, so it makes it more difficult as I have to send it. Otherwise, I would just make them toffee and fudge. HELP!

What are some great partying gifts for couples?
my boyfreind and i invited some other couples to go on a weekend getaway with us. I am going to give the couples thank you baskets upon our arrival. I already know that im gonna include in the basket: a bottle of wine with their names on them, votive candles, incense, picture frames, message oils. Please give me some of your creative ideas. Couples are married and over 21, so no kiddy stuff. Only grown and sexy!

I need help on deciding if this was a good gift idea or not?
I drew the name of a 24 year old girl for Secret Santa at work. She has a boyfriend and a child. So, I bought her a little basket that has some Movie Theater Box Candy, some bags of popcorn, two of the Holiday round cokes, and a $10 gift card to Blockbuster. Also in there is a red throw blanket and a snowman that is used to hang a Christmas stocking. I didn't know what to get her at all, so I figured she could use this to watch a movie or two with her boyfriend or son. I hope its a good idea. :/

Can you give me ideas for a traditional indian baby gift?
I am a nurse and a physician who I work with and very much respect is expecting a child around thanksgiving. I am planning a mini celebration in our office and am taking up a collection to put together a baby basket with must haves for him and his wife. I thought it would be nice to include a traditional indian cultural gift with the other baby essentials and I understand that gold bangle bracelets are often given for the baby, however I am not certain if there are other meanings for colors and types or where I might get something. Online or I live in RI. Please advise thankyou
--------------------
Jewelry is a traditional gift, because gold has real value and adds to the child's (and the families" actual wealth. Flower garlands, Saffron and statues of Gods or Goddesses (I'd suggest Ganeshi) would also be nice (If the tradition is Hindu). However, if he is in America, he might also like a Savings bond for his child's education. It is difficult to know the right tradition because India has a very varied group of culture, with Muslim, Hindu and Seik groups, as well as Buddhists and unless you know the religion, it's hard to know the custom. I suspect he would real a card which says "Doctor, I have a great deal of respect for you and like you very much. It is a pleasure working for you and I hope some day your child will follow in your footsteps and become a great doctor. Here is a savings bond to get the savings for the babies education started."

Dont have a lot of money, Christmas gift ideas for BIG family?
My family is HUGE. Living in my house alone I have 3 siblings, a mom, and a step dad. And then outside of my home (but still very close) are 2 uncles, 2 aunts, 2 grandmas (one great grandma), and 3 cousins. Last year I put together baskets for every household with little things (Cups with hot chocolate mix inside. on card I wrote "For a grandma so dear, have yourself a cup of cheer..a rice krispy treat - for someone so sweet, have yourself a special treat).. The baskets did not cost me a lot of money. I need the same sourt of thing this year. Something that I can make kinda personal .. but that isnt expensive. Any ideas would be great. I was thinking of baking cookies and muffins and breads for everyone but my mom and I do that every year anyways.
--------------------
Maybe next year you guys could do a gift exchange, but for this year. I'll be customizing some pictures at Target and giving those as gifts, making photo collages, photo calendars ect...

What I love to do for presents is go to target, get a couple cute bags like just 18$ bags, Then go to their 1$ section, I fill the bags with a ton of different fun things. Like body soap, cute socks, picture frames, jewelry. They will really enjoy all the cool stuff inside and then they still have the bag that you specially chose for each of them. Have fun with this!

Please Help! Air Canada Centre + Toronto Raptors + Seating + Boyfriend's/Parents Gift = No Clue!?
I plan for all my Christmas presents this year to be concert/sports tickets. However, I've never been to the Air Canada Centre, and I know nothing about how the seating really works. (Not to mention I know NOTHING about sports). I've been looking through the ticket pricing and and I'd like to know which seats would be better to purchase. I'm only willing to get either ENDZONE tickets ($90) or BALCONY PRIME tickets ($45), because I'll be buying multiple tickets for each gift, and I am NOT wealthy. ENDZONE tickets are more expensive, yes, but they are behind the basket..... is that ... fun? I wouldn't think so? lol... would a basketball fan like those seats? What about when all the action is way at the other end of the court? [ If I bought these, I would buy 2 tickets ] BALCONY PRIME seats are a bit less expensive, but at least those seats can get a panoramic view of the whole court......correct?.......however, I don't want to buy seats that are so far up that the person may as well be home watching it on TV, you know? Are these seats good? [ If I got these, I could by 3.] Which ones of these would you buy for yourself, assuming you are a Raptors/Basketball fan?? What is your reasoning for your choice?? Please don't refer me to the seating plan. I've looked at it already, and it doesn't help the way I need; I'd like advice from someone who's been there.... THANKS! :)
--------------------
My advice would be to buy the 'Balcony Prime' seats because it's a much better view of the game and all the players... Definitely go for those seats and try to avoid the EndZone as much as possible, since the view will often be blocked by the backboard and you would have to move your neck around! I'm not sure what gift pack you are using to buy these tickets but the prices are lower than you think. Balcony Prime is actually $45 and the Endzone $27... The Raptors site has a cool new seating camera that gives you a view of the game from each and every seat! Don't know if you checked it out but in case you haven't this is how you will actually see the game from those seats: Endzone $27 --- http://www.seats3d.com/nba/toronto_rapto Balcony Prime $45 --- http://www.seats3d.com/nba/toronto_rapto The difference is obvious right? Balcony prime would be your first choice and definitely worth the price... I've been there too so you can trust me...HAHA... Have fun!

help me out with a theme for a baby?
i found an old dresser that i want to paint for my brother and his wife. there about to have a baby this december and mentioned that they needed a dresser. i love paining and decorating. the mom hasnt had her baby shower and doesnt have a theme for the nursery. what could i paint on it that would go with anything but still be cute for a baby boy?? any ideas for a baby shower gift or gift basket? i dont have any kids, so what are things that are useful??
--------------------
Well you should ask the parent's for thier input, I think that is a wonderful gift that you would give them, kudos to you. If you don't want them to know (as a surprise) you could go with zoo animals, space theme (my personal favorite), cars/trucks, or sports, or some crazy combo of them all.... I found that the greatest baby shower gift given to me was a small wicker laundry basket filled with a pack of diapers, a box of wipes and a few onesies & blankets, the other favorite and most usefull gift was a baby bathtub filled with a bottle of baby shampoo, lotion , power & oil, wash cloths, and baby towels a 1 rubber duck. Simple things that they will need so much of (so it won't matter if they get several of the same item), work the best. I think the dresser is a heartfelt and thoughtful gift!

Would this be a bad Valentine's gift?
Okay, so i never seem to come up with really good gift ideas for my boyfriend, and for Valentine's it's especially hard b/c he gets it easy..flowers for me ect. So, would this be a bad idea? I want to get an Edible Arrangement basket delivered to his dorm at school. He loves fruit..eats it all the time, hes a very healthy apetite and whatnot. Is that like really lame to send though? We're 19&20 and have been dating over 2 years now. Also, if anyone has any coupon codes that would work on that website, or any other ideas it would all be appreciated! Thanks for your time :)

Ok first of all, kudos for the idea! I do this and people love it. Needed: White chocolate and regular chocolate bark Small pretzel twists Ritz crackers with peanut butter between them - like little sandwiches, I know you can buy these but make your own, it's lots cheaper. White plastic spoons Hot cocoa envelopes Mini marshmallows Bag of Heath candy bits - in baking aisle beside chocolate chips. Wax paper and plenty of counter space and or large trays Ok After you get all these things at Wal-Mart, 1. fix the ritz peanut butter crackers 2. put a cocoa envelope in a little zip top bag with a handful of marshmallows 3. put wax paper on table, counters or trays - tape it down with a little tape on the edges 4. use a double boiler or a small pot with a glass bowl sitting on top of it. If you use a pot and bowl, put about two inches of water in the pot, bring to a simmer, turn stove down and set bowl on top. make sure bowl is DRY. Put in your chocolate bark pieces and stir until completely melted 5. When chocolate bark is melted, dip the plastic spoons ( up to where the handle begins) and lay them on wax paper to dry 6. with a fork, dip half your pretzels and lay them on seperate sheet of wax paper to dry 7. Melt the white chocolate in another pan and bowl. Carefully dip the ritz crackers and the other half of your pretzels. LEt everything dry. 8. When white and chocolate pretzels are dry, peel them off wax paper and mix them together in a single layer on wax paper. Take your melted chocolates and drizzle over them, while this is wet, sprinkle with HEath pieces. 9. Drizzle your dry spoons with white chocolate, let dry 10. Make baskets that have *choco-dipped pretzels *cocoa kits with choco dipped spoons *white choc covered ritz pb crackers * pretzels with heath and both chocolates You use the spoons to stir your cocoa mix and your little marshmallows, As you stir, the chocolate melts off the spoon and into your cocoa making it delicious!!! Hope I helped you. I do this every year and everyone loves it. I can usually make a basket for 5 different families for less than 20.00. Buy everything at wal mart. Merry Christmas!!

"so what" had a great idea- also another untapped resource is the dollar store. You can get those bath/body items really cheap along with things like toys, stickers, books, etc. for children. Also if you are doing this because of a tight money situation, you may want to talk to a local church. Ask them if you can use them as a place to advertise etc. what you are doing. Around christmas people are very giving and don't be timid- let them know you need some help. Maybe the toys people donate to them might make it your way to. Let them help you help yourself. You'd be surprised how good mankind can be when it comes to children at christmas. Good luck mama, and its nice to see a mother doing whatever she can for her children's smiling faces during the holidays. God Bless.

Birthday gift ideas for Mom?
I'm 20 and have been living away from home for a while, but I'm still very close to my Mom. We see each other weekly, and talk on the phone daily. Her birthday is in about a week, and I have no idea what to get her. Usually, I get candles, or make nice lotion/bath/beauty baskets, but I'd like to think of something else, or something more original. I'm willing to spend a decent amount of money, I'd like to get her something nice, or a few things (and something personal-not a giftcard.) She doesn't really have any hobbies or collect anything, and I'm stumped. Any ideas? Thanks!

Ideas for wedding guest gifts...?
I'm having an out of town wedding with only about 15-20 guests.Since the guests have to drive an average of 6 hours to spend the day with us,my fiance and I would like to do something a little more special for them than the normal little favor.Do y'all have any ideas of small gifts to put together in a gift basket for them (that wouldn't completely break the bank)? If you were going to a wedding six hours away, what's something interesting or unique that you'd appreciate?

poll for married moms on valentines day?
what would you rather get for valentines day? combo a: knock at the door with a gorgeous flower delivery and when hubby gets home he has chocolates and a piece of jewelry. or combo b: a nice dinner out with and hubby making every romatic gesture to romance you in bed or C: a knock at the door and merry maids standing there with a gift basket of bubble bath a book and a bottle of wine and only one glass all done by hubby to give you a day of relaxing while maids clean the house

Would this be ok GIRLS ONLY?
Believe it or not, I have a friend who actually knows Rose Mcgowan. THE Rose Mcgowan! We've known each other for a while now and we've become good friends. Anyway, her birthday is coming up and I was thinking abut getting her a gift basket that included 2 boxes of tampax pearl, 3 packs of always ultra thins, 2 bottles of lotion, and a rabbit pearl vibrator. I think she would love it. Should I? And yes this a serious question.
