does anyone know of where i can get a good deal on business issurance. i just need liability issurance. i do the business from my spare room in my home. also how much do you think i should be covered for in this type of business. 1 million?

I'd suggest asking the company you already have insurance with. You may get a discount for having another type of insurance with them. I don't know how much to be covered for, that's something you'd have to ask them. But I'd think at least $100,000 would be safe, maybe more. $1 million seems really high. Check with wahm.com. I think there are some women who have this kind of business there. I sell Watkins kitchen products and can do gourmet baskets with their products (something I'm considering for fairs) but since I'm already an ind. associate with them and it's their products, I don't worry about insurance stuff.
