My mother is throwing me a baby shower and at the end when I do my thank you's I want to give her a gift. I would like to make a cute basket full of things for her but I need some ideas on what to put in it.

i would say definately something nice that says "grandma" or something on it from your baby, especially if it is hr first grandchild. and maybe some nice luxury toiletries or face creams, nice perfume, flowers and maybe a nice home made cake or something. i hope that helps and have a lovely baby shower!! :D
