My friend is having a baby and ive got some clothes (4 shirts, a tracksuit set, mittens, shoes, leggings, bath frame support, hooded bath towel and washcloth for her little girl. Any suggestions on what else to get for the baby? Something inexpensive as i have already spent quite a lot of money. I also wanted to get a gift for mummy. I know she is feeling quite overwhelmed and left out as every conversation she has with anyone is just about the baby etc! I thought it would be nice if i got something for her to let her know we havent forgotten about her! I was thinking of making a gift basket and putting a few items into it for her but i am not a mummy so i have absolutely no idea what to put in it. HELP! So mummies to be and new mummies.. what would you want for yourself? & what else would be a great help for baby?

Everybody always gives new mommy's-to-be baby clothes, and I got so many clothes at my baby shower but alot of people forget to buy new mommy's a baby thermometer, baby clothes soap, new born pacifiers, diapers of all sizes, keep sake items, infants tylenol, and teething medicine. And for a gift for the new mom...you can get her a bath set or a gift card.
