My friend just had her new bundle of joy come into this world a week ago, unfortunately he's very ill. The doctors cannot figure out what is wrong with him, and he's still in the NICU. I want to send her something, seeing as we are 1000 mile apart but I can't seem to think of anything worthy to send to her. Flowers are out because of it being ICU, and I was going to originally send a baby spa basket, with all these lotions and balms especially made for babies but seeing as they can't use them on him, I am at a loss as to what to get for her. What do you get for a mother with a sick baby? And what do you get for a newborn that isn't even out of the hospital?

I would just get a little guardian angel charm for now, or something along those lines. It's thoughtful, let's them know you are thinking of them and you never know, a guardian angel may be all he needs right now. Can't think of anything else at the moment
