I'm starting up a gift basket business and am working from home. I do not make foods, I buy and resell. Insurance for commercial general liability policy has been quoted at a cost of around $750 to $1,000 a year. Does this sound right to you or should I keep shopping around. I'm based in Ontario, Canada.

This is correct if the policy has a minimum of 2million limit this is good since these are the normal quotes for the commercial general liability risk. Make sure that you have the completed products liability included in this coverage.
