we are not really friends her daughter and my son plays together sometime and I watch her daughter for her anytime she ask me for free..now her daughter birthday is on friday and I don't have 50$ to give her daughter so what do i do ..it would be tacky to give back the 50$ she gave my son right..I was going to make her daughter a basket of spring things(jump rope,chalk,books,candy etc)do my gift have to be the same amount as hers was for my child..what do I do

The gift basket is a good idea. I don't think she gave your son the $50 gift to receive a $50 gift in return. You honestly don't have to give her daughter anything in return. They did that out the kindness of their heart. But if you don't want to seem like that kind of person that can't give back then that gift basket is not a bad idea on any level. It isn't like you discussed gift arrangements.
