I am trying to get my gift basket business's name out there in my city....I have handed out flyers, put flyers on car windshields, bulletin boards at community parks, put flyers around my apartment complex.....the next goal on my list is to send a few baskets to companies with my information inside....I'm thinking maybe companies that cater primarily to women, so can you give me some ideas of companies that do that? You have to take three examples of your baskets to every corporation within a hundred miles, talk to executive secretaries and leave one with them when they say they can use your baskets for all out of town guests who are staying at a hotel while in town visiting the company call it the corporate welcome baskets offer assortments like: with cheeses, crackers, summer sausage etc also a breads and fruits basket A wine basket and a soup and cornbread basket. Gear the baskets you carry in after you have done the research as to what the corporation does so you are seen as thorough and well informed. Next go to franchise operations and meet with Managers to have them send a basket to the hotel where their corporate people stay when they come into town. Next set up appointments with non-profit groups to give them the choice of sending a basket to certain benefactors of significant thanks. Same with hospitals and colleges to thank large donation supporters.....
