I'm putting together a gift basket for my friend's baby shower, and I'd like to go with a 'food' theme-- lots of things she needs to feed her newborn/baby/toddler. I'm going to get stuff off her registry, like the boppy, placement, bibs, sippy cups, bottles, spoons, etc, but do you have any ideas of how I can creatively package this gift? Just a big basket? I like to make the container that I package my gifts in something useful as well. If you have any ideas of what might look cute in a basket like this, please let me know. I was thinking of including some jars of baby food, etc.

If you are going with a 'food' type of theme, why not put it in a picnic basket? Get a little checked blanket (blue for boy pink for girl) just like the red ones you see at picnics and stuff. And fill it with all the registry stuff and food items. She would think it was adorable! I would love that for my newborn!
