Hi! We're a young couple (Early twenties), and we we're really grateful for finding the agent we found! She has taken such good care of us and we want to show our gratitude! We're thinking, maybe making her a gift basket, adding gift cards, and little things, but we're not sure. We were just hoping some of you guys would have some awesome ideas for us!!! The most valuable - and most appreciated - thing you can give an excellent realtor is a letter of reference/recommendation with your permission to use the letter and you as a recommendation for future prospective clients. Write a nice letter of appreciation, print it on your personal letterhead (you can design a personal letterhead on your 'puter) on good quality business paper (you can get good paper at Staples, etc), such as ivory paper with a laid finish. At the end of your letter state that "You have our permission to use this testimonial or have prospective clients call us for a reference." A well-written letter detailing what this person did for you & how much you appreciate it is worth tens of thousands of dollars in future income to the realtor. It may also help another young couple find a good realtor who helps make their dreams come true, too.
