My mom and I were invited to easter lunch by my boyfriend's mom. The dinner is nothing formal, and our parents have met once, but Im just not sure if im supposed to bring a gift for his mom or maybe some food or what. My boyfriend also told me that his mom bought me an easter basket, so I dunno if that makes a difference. And if I am supposed to get her a gift, how much should i spend and on what? Anythings helpful. Thanks. -Tina

I always get a hostess gift. In this case, I'd bring cut flowers if possible, or a box of candy from the candy store. Since it's your boyfriend's mom, definitely don't go empty-handed.
