Is it wrong that I don't want contact with her anymore?

There is this lady that use to do nice things for me when i was in high school. She likes to show me off to her friends and other kids because I went to college. She thinks it is because of her.Although, she complained when i didn't buy her a gift. She said she deserved a gift basket or something. Although, as soon as I bought her something from bath and body she didn't want it. She claimed that it was too expensive and couldn't afford it. I was hurt and humiliated.

if you don't want to talk to her then you shouldn't have to. i don't see why a friendly exchange would be wrong if you happened to see her or she happens she call every once in awhile. she is being selfish for what she did to you so you should have the right to be mad/frustrated with her. you could tell her that what she did was very rude in your eyes because she said she deserved a gift basket or something so you went and bought her one and now she wont take it. it is like she set up the whole thing so she could receive a gift and play out the whole "oh you shouldn't have!" thing. talk to her about it or just don't talk to her at all. you do what you think is best for you. i hope i helped, good luck!
