Anybody making homemade gifts for Christmas?

If so, what are you making? I am thinking about making gift baskets full of goodies for my family and friends: Chocolates, candies, cookies, muffins.
--------------------
We've been doing this every year for about 10 years for the relatives who have too much stuff already so we've kinda become experts on who likes what in our gift giving circle. First, to save money we skip the baskets and save up a few cardboard boxes in the sizes we'll need and decorate it using plain white or brown paper and then hot glue on holiday embellishments like pinecones, and real pine branches and small ornaments and stuff. They always look pretty and are well received. For the goodies, we like to do the standard bread and cookies but have found over the years that food mixes in a jar are really popular. You can find mixes for brownies, cookies, soups and even meals by searching on the web. Our most popular food mix in a jar is by far Beef Stroganoff mix in a jar which you can find at http://kidoozy.com/project_page.php?ID=3… Our family and friends look forward to just that each year. Jams and jellies and any foods that have a shelf life are very popular since people already have alot of food to eat around the holidays, and foods that can be saved for later are appreciated. Then we personalize each basket by buying a small something or two that we know the person really likes and doesn't treat themselves to often. Special teas, or candy bars, or for example we always throw in a unique hot sauce and pepperoni for my father in law, and stationery for my neice who is away at college. Just think outside the box and personalize the baskets to each individual or family and I'm sure you'll come up with some really special baskets to give out this year. Good luck.
