a good guy friend of mine is leaving for iraq in a few days, whats a good gift to give him?

hes in the marines and is leaving for training and then going to iraq for a year and i want to get him something to say goodbye. I was thinking that i could make him a big basket of junk food and buy a little journal for him and have our co-workers write something in the beginning of it, and then he could fill the rest of it with his experiences and whatnot.....but i dont know

some good ol' american pu$$y. then also get him a leather bound journal. so he can write about the things that he goes through. also have people write some encouragement notes in it so that he has something to remind him of where he came from when ever he needs that moral booster
