I need some social guidance about sending a friend a fruit basket from Harry & David for Christmas. I have not seen him for over 8 months as we've moved apart, but I'm hoping that a gift would be thoughtful. However, I do not want him to feel like he owes me anything. Should I still send a gift to be nice? I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you.
