My daughter's relationship with her high school sweetheart ended a few months ago. They attend different colleges. Unfortunately, she put all her eggs in his basket and assumed they would go through life together, now she's lost her drive for school and work. (She is very gifted mentally)

she just needs time and for u to just keep being there. we all know how it felt to think yr in love at that age or be in love. try to reassure her that she is just to good for him. I'm only 25 so it wasn't that long ago i was there. the thing is all these things that happen to us make us stronger so try to explain that to her. and just let her know in time it will get easier. good luck.
