My secretary is good, not great, but OK. She always gives me a gift each year for x-mas (ornament or some desk item - paperweight, trinket etc...). A $10-$15 gift. I'm not into giving gifts but have felt obligated since the first time she gave me a gift and I didn't have one for her. Two years ago I gave her a gardening set (she's into growing flowers) and last year I had my wife get a shampoo, bath, etc... basket from Bed Bath and Beyond. I don't think the last gift went over too well (maybe a little too personal?). I don't know any other of her hobbies. She's not real open about her personal life. Anyway I need some new ideas $20-$30 price range.

A basket with gardening gloves, mini gardening tools, hand lotion, bird feeder, plant markers, mini indoor herb kits, garden rocks, lawn ornaments, wind chimes and a note like - hope the new year grows well on you or something. Or a very nice window adornment like a stain glass one (Hallmark). A nice card and gift card at a nice restaurant even. Good luck
