I'm a student in Wisconsin but I'm from Oregon. I'm going home for the holidays, and I'm looking for a few "Wisconsin gift basket" ideas. My step dad loves gourmet beers, I already planned on some hard cheese, some summer sausages, and maybe some cranberry jam. I need some good "true Wisconsin" gift ideas to take back to Oregon. I want to show them what it is like in another part of the country. Thanks for the ideas, everyone!

Well, cheese is a big one. There are lots of local brews that are really tasty (pretty much anything that comes out of New Glarus is awesome like spotted cow). Real maple syrup is yummy. Cranberry stuff is good too (cranberry wine, sauce, crasins). Saussages are tasty too. And who could forget about cheeseheads? Hope this helps.
