heres a good basket idea for friends and your teachers movie night basket- either a movie (walmart has bins of $5 movies) or gift card to Blockbuster, some microwave popcorn, different candy, and some bottles of soda all wrapped in a plastic popcorn bowl. you can get most of the stuff from the dollar store- bowls, candy, sodas, chips, shrink wrap bags, tissue paper, curling ribbon.
